The best restaurants serving Indian food in Hillingdon London

So when those 'curry in a jar' isn't happening for you and all you want is to sink your teeth into a lamb curry, butter chicken, soft naan and Anthony else you can get your hands on, I'd highly recommend Secrets of India. Me -being a an Indian myself (and an amazing cook) can say that this place will satisfy your taste buds with its large variety of GOOD Indian food and at very good portion sizes! Food is amazing -unsure about staff as I've only ordered takeout!

I recently ordered the Khyber Charse Karahi and lamb biryani from Blue Saffron as a takeaway, and I have to say-it was an unforgettable experience. I requested the dish to be made hot, and they absolutely delivered on the spice. This was the first time I've tasted a dish that truly captured bold, authentic flavors while maintaining a perfect balance of heat and richness. For a first-time order, I was genuinely impressed, and I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes from their menu.

First time I am very disappointed, I have placed a order waiting patiently to be delivered, after waiting more then an hour, no food, no money in my account, apparently the app I was ordering from was not working due to Internet connection at the restaurant, but they've accept the order and gave me an order number.

We’ve been really disappointed in this restaurant the last couple of times we’ve ordered out food is cold tasteless and the portions are smaller not what it used to be. We will be looking Elsewhere in the future

This is a suitable place to have a quick brunch or breakfast, especially as a takeout option. However, I was significantly let down by the food. I watched as the server poured out my chai from a large warmer, and my wrap was made from a pack of crisps (which I have now found online). Since it's close enough to the station, it's convenient, especially if you're not interested in the 'mainstream' coffee shops. It has enormous potential to be better, and I hope they take advantage of it.

Had our NYE meal at the Maharaja having not visited for some time. The restaurant is under new management now. The food was excellent and plentiful, whilst the service was great. A number of ‘on the house’ extras really made a difference and enhanced the experience for us. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Maharaja!!

I ordered chicken kebab i haven’t got a clue what it was but it was horrible really bad I ate 1and 1/2 mouthfuls and was nearly disc even the dog would touch it never again stay away

Great service. Food was great. Dolphy looked after us the whole night. Very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back again!

2nd time my sister being home from France that we’ve come for dinner. Thank you again for making our evening so special and especially interacting with the boys about the football they were following. Those small touches make such a difference. Been going to this restaurant for 12 years plus, looks like a different Chef now. I asked for the lamb Bunait off the bone as they always seem to serve it with three or four bones in. Payed top price for it and still came with a bone in. I’ve always had good food in this restaurant. And have a good relationship with the staff. The draft lager is a very good price. This is the first time I’ve seen this restaurant that empty it’s always been busy every time I’ve gone there. I will go back but maybe not as often as I used to.

Lovely decor but food very disappointing. Curries not well balanced, and veg dishes blitzed and awash in sauce, rather than being dry, delicate and wholesome. Chefs need to re assess. Would not return.

We recently celebrated my 2nd wedding anniversary at Dawat restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly for our celebration. A big thank you to Dawat team for making our special day even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for great food and warm hospitality.
