The person who dropped the food was rude and not leaving after delivering the order. He was arguing as the code 6488 was not working for him. He was saying that the code is not correct.

Really nice and chilled atmosphere. Was a bit hot when we arrived but temp was adjusted after we mentioned it. Food tasted great but there was a bit of a wait as the place was pretty full.

I had one of the Biryanis (Paneer). I wanted mild and it was a little spicy for me. The waitress was very helpful and said she would get some more rice added to my leftovers so that it wasn't as spicy. I was also given some yogurt which helped. Good fast service. Had the 2 for 1 cocktails. The good thing was that unlike some places you could choose two different cocktails. Both cocktails were nice. I'm only in the area once a week but will definitely visit again.

I had a delicious food & the most important thing is the the environment & awesome curry which brings me back to india for a moment .... I hope everyone will enjoy....

Great food as always. Chicken wings was flavourful. Bhel puri reminded of the mumbai street food. Methi chicken and olive naan was perfect combination for mains. Highly recommended!

Did a take away/delivery today for the first time having wanted to try for a while. There were way too many whole garam masala pieces in few items. The jeera rice was too dry and way too many cumin seeds! The samosa chaat, fritters/bhajiya, chutney were delicious. Chicken makhani was like a sweet dish definitely not okay. Lamb Kadai was good but for the whole garam masala! Naan extremely average. Quantity pretty good.

Chaii Room is fantastic. It's one of the few Indian restaurants in the area that not only serves great food but also has exceptional customer service. It feels like the staff genuinely care about their customers, making each visit a pleasant experience. Our favorites from the menu include the lollipop chicken and chicken karahi, both of which are delicious. The kids especially love the paneer. Chaii Room has become a regular spot for us, and we highly recommend it.

Ordered take away. Chaat not fresh, tastes very soggy. Food full of chilli even though it didn’t say it on the menu. Overall poor quality food. Price not bad though.

Must try Samosa chat, Chilly paneer, Aloo papdi chat,... I must say try everything you will enjoy it for sure. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

We went there for lunch and all the food was great. I really liked the Pani puri as it tastes real good. All the other food was fresh and service was good. The Vegetarian Platter was really a good idea to try out different dishes. The only reason for 1 less star is their Chaii Pot has all the decorations coming off and very much peeling off so could do with replacing.

Nice way to end a Friday afternoon

Booked a table for 9 people for Mother’s Day, paid £20 deposit to secure it. Turned up at our booking time and the table was no where near ready. We had to wait 30 minutes for two tables to finish (one of which were just being served their mains when we arrived), before we could be seated. The only reason we stayed and waited (Venue 5 had availability) was because they promised a first round of free drinks which they followed through on. But honestly, I wish we’d left because it only went from bad to worse. After being seated, we were ignored. We went and got our own menus, our drinks came 30 minutes after ordering and our food came in dribs and drabs but of course we couldn’t start eating, because it took them another 15 minutes to give us plates and cutlery. We had to ask 5 times for a jug of water and teaspoons for the kids. It also appears this restaurant doesn’t actually have enough plates and glasses. We were given plastic cups for water, it was laughable. The food was nothing to write home about - the chilli mushrooms were over spiced but lacked flavour. Paneer was undercooked and lacked flavour. Our chicken makhni had a massive slab of unmelted butter left in it. The portions were small (never expected to have that concern in an Indian restaurant!!) - each of us 6 adults got 2 crispy bhajia each from 1 portion. Despite being very local, we definitely will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. If you want a decent Indian meal, there are so many better places with better service to go to in the area. Avoid this one!

I would add a zero if I could. Booked for Mother’s Day with family coming from other parts specifically for this, all after receiving confirmation of booking. Then Chai room decided to decline my confirmed booking at last minute as they were unable to reach me for a deposit. They didn’t leave any message nor send me an email or text to return the call, so how was I to know I need to call them back. Need I mention that I booked well in advance, at at time based on their recommendation, and received a booking confirmation email and text. While trying to resolve this, the Male Manager spoke over their receptionist very rudely while the receptionist was apologetic and trying to find a solution. He was adamant in that this was my fault as I didn’t answer their call, when it’s actually a failure of service on their part! My family and I were really looking forward to this, and are now left stranded as we can’t get bookings at such a last minute. Overall, appalling service and disgusting management behaviour. I don’t recommend booking with them for special events!

We went at lunch time and the food was really nice and tasty. I suggest having platter for two so you can try 5 different items (vegi was our choice) and the portion on the platter was good. We also had Pani Puri which was tasty. Chai is great if you like strong masala chai. 😄 Staffs are very friendly and asked few times if all was OK and if we needed anything else. The only thing I would suggest is for staff/owner to have little formal dressing.

Ungradable. We visited recently and didn’t have a good experience at all. The service is extremely slow. They acknowledge you yet don’t come to serve you. After we ordered, the food came first and the drinks came 10 minutes later. Unusually strange. The popadoms tasted like they’ve been sitting somewhere for a while and had a soggy texture. The chicken was hard, the paneer had more veggies than paneer cubes itself. Very small plates of food and rip off prices. Wait until you get to the mains because they’re even smaller and the price increases. The masala chai was awful. I took a sip and left the whole mug full. As it was a birthday treat I didn’t want to make a fuss so we paid and left. The staff member called Priya saw the food wasn’t even halfway and the chai was basically untouched and didn’t even think to Question for feedback. The team and management are useless who are incapable and ignorant to deal with customers. I spoke to Jay who constantly spoke over me when I was trying to explain the situation. He kept being defensive and made up excuses as to why my experience was the way it was. Although I wasn’t interested he offered me a voucher in return to visit once more which he promised to call back about at the end of the day. I haven’t yet received the call back and it’s been more than a week. All I want is my refund respectfully. I called to find out an update and was shouted and sworn at by the Manager Jay. He knew he was in the wrong and cut me off the phone several times. The whole team are disgraceful and need training on how to treat their customers with respect. It’s shocking to witness such disgusting service. I was called a Motherf*cker by Jay who also confirmed I will never get my refund on the phone before he rung up. For the sake of £46.74p. There was also another family there who were unhappy with something and again they couldn’t rectify the problem. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Don’t bother wasting your time and money when you can get more for it elsewhere.

3 years since my last visit I booked Chaii Room to catch up with friends on a Friday night. We were welcomed and shown to our table promptly. Restaurant was quite empty with only 2 other groups there. We were shown smart tags on the table that we could use with our phone to bring up Chaok Room on our phones. This didn’t work with Android phone. Atmosphere seemed ok. Playback music videos playing in the background. We ordered our starters abs drinks. A couple of us ordered G&T’s. Drinks lacked any garnish and tasted awful. Tonic was just a basic Schweppes bottle. Not effort made to garnish the drinks. Starters were ok. Portions small. The Mexican chaat was served in avocado skins which wasn’t appealing nor each to dish out. Didn’t find the dish very original. Mains were ok. One of the dishes was overly hot when we did say at the point of ordering to make the dishes mild to medium. By 10.30 we were given the bill and it was suggested we leave being the last ones. We would have liked to stay for tea. Paid up the bill and walked down Eastcote over to Mumbai Zing instead. Still open, diners enjoying themselves and the owner was happy to serve us tea. Food was highly recommended by customers who were leaving as we went in. Next night out will be at Mumbai Zing. Chaii Room really need to look at their menu offering and presentation. It’s overpriced for what it is.

Was really impressed with the food here from the items I ordered; chicken lollipop starter was so good, very flavourful and nice texture. The lamb curries were also rich and tender, paired brilliantly with the roti. Cocktails could be better though but the food was great! Gulab Jaman was also 10/10

My partner and I visited the Chaii Room on Saturday. Okay so where do I start, the Food: was so delicious and the spices were not to much and not to little just right. The service: was excellent, the smiles from the staff, and the waitresses were just so pleasant. My partner and I had a great conversation with them! The atmosphere so inviting and felt very comfortable. I like how there is a Bollywood theme going on in there. So if you're reading this review please give Chaii Room a visit. There starters to mains are so tasty! You will not be disappointed. Try there chicken wings, Chilli Paneer and mogo and not to mention the fresh pot of chai. Just want to say thank you to the Kitchen staff to waitresses.

Ordered via Uber eats (wish I didn’t). The chicken roll had too much going on and didn’t really come together. The special masala tea was disappointing, nothing special about it - had to force myself to drink it! The only decent thing was the orange and passion fruit smoothie which was about £7. Not worth it.

Having enjoyed some delicious dinners at Chaii Room we have long wanted to sample their Indian breakfast…it didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend the Punjabi Aloo Paratha and Tikka Egg Kathi Roll. In a world of mundane breakfasts, Chaii Room is the future!

Had been for brunch with my friends ( group of 15) and thoroughly enjoyed everthing in the menu. All dishes were very well presented and tasted absolutely yummy. Definitely I'm returning again with others and family too very soon. Polite staff and lovely menu , both veg and nonveg food were equally delicious and appetizing.

First of all it's the atmosphere in restaurant is very relaxing. The sitting arrangement is amazing. The food is garnished perfectly and the taste is always the same. The service staff is excellent. I've visited this restaurant more then 10 times. We've been taken care always by the number one waiter Mr. Alay and number one waitress Miss Juhi. Even the cocktails took me by surprise, absolutely marvelous. The prices are so reasonable. And definitely my first choice for food and cocktails. The best restaurant in eastcote

Here's my review for the restaurant and cafe: I had a great experience dining at this restaurant and cafe. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a good variety of options to choose from and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the Crispy Bhajia dish and the Tea (Chaai) was some of the best I've had in a long time. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!

Came here for a work lunch with my colleagues, the food was amazing, our waiter was really nice and attentive. It was midday so i can't really comment on the atmosphere and it was pretty quiet but it really doesnt deserve to be.

The chai room’s food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is trendy and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It's the perfect place to have a great dining experience with friends and a great place for a drink! 😄👌
