We’ve been really disappointed in this restaurant the last couple of times we’ve ordered out food is cold tasteless and the portions are smaller not what it used to be. We will be looking Elsewhere in the future

We were fortunate that they could squeeze us in on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere and food was worth the tiniest of waits. Good selection of beers too. A gem in the heart of Eastcote.

Undisputedly, one of the best curry houses in the whole of Eastcote! The food was out of this world - exquisite cuisine, the service impeccable, the ambience sublime.

Had a delivery food looked like it was thrown into the bag. Called the restaurant and not even a sorry from the manager. We will Avoid them all the time

Lovely food, beautifully prepared and served on a hot plate.Generous portions served by a well mannered gentleman. The poppodoms were delicious and the dips were large too.Tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection and with a nice chilled white wine made the perfect evening. Prices are extremely low, considering the outstanding quality of the food and the mushroom rice was superb. We'll be back

Went 2 nights. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Recommended.

We stayed in this area after watching football at Wembley. We were with our 10 year old and it was quite late so we were a bit unsure of where he would be allowed. We saw this in passing so decided to give it a try. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food was beautiful, the chicken pasanda was the best I’ve had. My 10 year old couldn’t eat it quick enough! The only down side was the toilets weren’t very clean but on the whole a very good evening Thankyou.

Visited Shapla last night with friends. Hadn't been there for a long time and found it was under new management. The food & service was excellent but was surprised to see it so empty ! If you're in the area give these guys a call and I don't think you'll be disappointed, I'm sure they'll appreciate your custom.

Absolutely horrible food. No taste, stale and tiny portions. Chicken Tikka was dry and tasteless. Chicken kalia gravy which was mentioned as hot and spicy tasted like sweet tomato puree. Garlic naan was small and half baked. Never ordering from this place again.

Poor quality and tasteless. Too much sugar. Not impressed. Not a place for authentic Indian food. Restaurant in decline over last year. Windows are dirty which is a reflection on the overall duty of care or lack of it.

We have been going to Shapla for many years for their delicious food. However after covid and illness it’s been a while since we returned. The latest reviews were not good but we took a chance tonight. On entering there were few people, however we were given a warm welcome and enjoyed an excellent meal, certainly as good as we remember. Yes, the place needs a facelift and the table of instructions for Takeaway driver pickups was not welcoming, nor one of the waiters really underdressed but the service was good and so was the food. I wonder who posts these detrimental reviews and why??

No where near as good as it used to be. Food ok but ambience has gone. Service bordering on poor. No hot plates on tables to keep food warm. Just a shame really. This used to be a favourite of ours.

Can’t believe how much this place has changed since the last owners/Chefs!! Everything was mixed with extra water. No real spice flavours, last time they will be seeing me!

This place is awful the toilets are disgusting and the food is worse,they must be relying on delivery because all night long motorcycle drivers were coming and going, I used to love this place but I would now consider it the worst restaurant I had ever been to

Ordered a chicken tikka masala and a lamb biryani from this restaurant via just eat! Upon arrival my wife and I sat down to enjoy our meal only for the chicken tikka masala to be far too sweet and the chicken to taste like it was barbecue chicken. As for the lamb biryani that was inedible!! All it was was a heavy herbed lamb stew with chilli powder. Utterly unimpressed!! Will never order from there again. I recommend if you want a good tandoori meal look elsewhere!!

To be honest, there's a lot of very good competition in the local area so maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I've had two recent meals and a takeaway from here and they've all been average. It's as if the meat wasn't cooked along with the sauce and just added later. I may be being a bit picky and obviosuly tastes vary, but I just left a little dissapointed, Decor has changed recently and it's a bit bright and clinical, not the homely and comfortable shrub filled restaurant it used to be and the staff seems a little off on my last visit. not bad by any means, but it used to be much busier.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful… food is amazing…. Highly recommend to all. Pelish the waiter was so helpful and on the ball..

Tried Shapla's takeaway for the first time and guess what ........... The taste was beyond my expectation Delicious food in the Hood Will come to dine-in after this Covid ting ! This was my first time trying their food as i had heard a lot about them and indeed this is the best indian curry i had in a longtime after Lockdown. Such a friendly and lovely staff. I suggest everyone to try their ChickenTtikka Masala and Tandoori mix grill.

went here for a meal in 2019 october ,, terrible meal which was embarrissing as i had invited people out for a celbreation meal . i paid and before i left complained to the waiter as we was walking out ,,, Wasnt really interested or didnt understand me ,,,WE will not be back which is a shame as it used to be a really good restaraunt .. perhaps its changed hands ,,,, Dont bother go some where else ! We visited on Wednesday and my son had never been to an Indian restaurant before as has food allergies to eggs nuts and sesame seeds and was pretty nervous about visiting a restaurant like this.The menu was a fantastic by each dish it had the allergens beside it so he could see exactly what was in it, made us feel at ease! All restaurant's should have this as makes our dining experience more enjoyable!! Lovely warm welcome and food was excellent.

Great food at the Shapla as always. However the tables were very close together and they could do with some screens to separate them so it is more covid secure in there.

Have been a few times now and the food has never disappointed so thought a good review was well deserved. I'd particularly recommend the lamb balti. This time they dealt with the COVID safety measures really well in terms of distancing, all staff wearing masks, disposable menus, hand sanitizer etc

Post COVID meal - had high expectations for our first meal out but was very disappointed. Found food very bland and not tasty at all. Seem to concentrate more on takeaway business rather than restaurant.

Ordered through Uber eats, food was completely wrong, and no attention given to the allergen information. A joke.

Amazing food and friendly staff

the only reason I gave the rating of four was because of access issues I was glad to see such a good menu some of the items I haven't seen for years. The service was excellent very attentive staff and also helpful. It was a pleasant venue As a electric wheelchair user I had to check how wide was the gap between the two white concrete pillars of the entrance, he told me 23 inches my wheelchair was 22 1/2 inches so I just got in. Anybody with a wider wheelchair cannot access this venue unless it is a folding one and you can stand while they get you into the restaurant.

Shapla is a great place with great people working there. I came there with my family and we had a great time. One of the workers(Polash)was really kind and funny. He even charged my phone and made the restaurant feel cosy and comfortable like home. The food was great. The portions were not too big and not too small. We loved it and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Polash. Alexandra age 9.

My wife and I dined here Thurs 13th Feb and I've rushed back to do this review. The whole tandoori chicken wasn't just good . It was excellent. Good flavour and cooked to perfection. Prior to the main course poppadums were served with 4 chutneys and two yogurt. Generous portions as well being reasonably priced. We like this place..The service was humorous as well as efficient. Special mention to Polash our waiter for his attention. Thank you all.

Food is overpriced for what it is. The meat was not good quality, lamb was fatty and gristly. Chicken also ropey. I don't mind paying a decent amount of money for a meal, but I expect quality to match. A couple of us also have an upset stomach. I must say I now prefer Sid’s food.

Well I've been going here for years. It's been a while since my last visit and the owners/management has changed.The atmosphere and service as always very nice. The food unfortunately very average and to top it of was Luke warn when served.I went with 3 adults 4 children. The food portions were enough to keep even the teens happy.It hurts me to say I won't be going back. I'm the type of guy that won't create a fuss and once bitten twice as shy. I wouldn't send food back to the kitchen after complaining.Colin

Been here several times and the experience is different each time. The food is good. That’s the main thing. But the staff can vanish for long periods. You may wait to have your order taken, get another drink, or for your bill. Often the card machine is allegedly broken, forcing you out into the cold to get cash. One day I ain’t coming back. But the food is good.

Food is delicious x staff are very polite x welcoming. One particular member of staff likes to chat x has a great sense of humour. All the staff are lovely.

The whole place from the food and service was super excellent. You must go and try it.

A group of 6 x people turned up at about 7.30 on a Thursday evening, there were two tables occupied. I had a King Prawn Puree starter which was nice, everything else was very generic. The quality of the meat was good.

Very slow service. Felt like we kept being forgotten about. We had to keep asking for every course and drinks. Bhaji starters were lovely but that was all. The mains - tikka masala, paneer chilli masala, mushroom rice, saag aloo were all very bland. No flavour in anything.

Enjoyable meal with a bottle of red - £50 for 2..Service decent and nice place too eat locally. Starters reasonably priced and were very enjoyable. First time I had a curry with peanuts in - very nice - a very relaxed evening.

Kids booked Out Mother’s Day get together at the Shapla in Eastcote. I’ve not been in this restaurant for nearly 15 years but we were not disappointed! The waiter thatgreeted us at the door and showed us to our seats was super pleasant and very funny. The place is very well presented, we had a table for 6 with lots of space. The drinks were ordered and bought to the table quickly as was our food.

6 for dinner. We all managed to park close by. The table was ready and the service was excellent. We all had popadoms with 6 relishes including one that was delicious, based on pomegranates. A variety or starters followed. For a main I had a Chicken Tikka Marsalla which was very good, and my wife the salmon. Around the table there were a fine selection of the mains and sides. Kingfisher and Cobra on tap. Unhurried and we all agreed an excellent evening. I wish it had been my birthday because of the fuss the staff gave the lady on the next table. Well done Shapla.

It was our first time trying Shapla restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday and I really couldn't fault it on anything. It's a lovely restaurant with relaxing ambience and very friendly and polite staff. We really enjoyed all of the food served which was perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced with good portions. Shapla certainly lived up to the good reviews I've seen and we will certainly be back. Would definitely recommend!

Best Place for India Curry. My personal favourite is Tandoori King Prown Masala. Would highly recommend.

I have just eaten here! The food was cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly and attentive! Food is not cheap, but not expensive. Due to the quality, it is good value The big plus is that I asked about something that wasn't on the menu. I had to explain what I wanted, but once I did, they were more than happy to cook it for me... And they cooked it perfectly! I would happily recommend this restaurant

We regularly eat at Shapla restaurant. It's one of our favorite places to eat in Eastcote. The food is excellent and the service is always attentive and friendly. Try the dry fish masala for main course. Highly recommended!!

Came here for a New Year’s Eve dinner with my partner and friends, booked using the online booking system and once we arrived they had no clue of our booking! This was frustrating as it took about 15 mins to then be seated. Food took AGES to come out and wasn’t the best. Wouldn’t return again
