Coriander in Hillingdon

2nd time my sister being home from France that we’ve come for dinner. Thank you again for making our evening so special and especially interacting with the boys about the football they were following. Those small touches make such a difference. The food is amazing as is the customer service is second to none. See you next time!

Friends wanted to take me to an authentic Indian. Staff so friendly. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. be warned portions are big so I ended up coming home with lunch for the next day which was delicious. Second time around. Can’t wait to return.

Four of us ate here on a Friday evening. We asked to share the dishes we ordered including the starters and they were very happy to do this. I thought the food was good quality, the service attentive without being overbearing and good value considering the quality of the food.

We had the £25 meal for two and changed the main courses to lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala for an extra £2. Simply could not have been better. Thoroughly recommend!

Ate here yesterday! Had the Karahi Vegetarian option and garlic naan (which was recommended by the waiter) and it was a sizzler style. Catered for my possible nut allergy (pending results!) Amazing flavours and well prepared food that is not swimming in oil. Good value for this excellent curry cuisine and has had comfortable refit since Covid to provide safety for diners.

I’ve been coming here quite a while even before it was named coriander. Friends and family have all enjoyed meals here. Recently I’ve been coming often with my partner and we enjoy it every time. The staff are always very lovely towards us and make us feel very comfortable. The food is always very tasty and I find the portions generous. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because on a few occasions the rice, sag aloo and Bombay potatoes have been warm and not hot. I will be returning as I really do enjoy my experience eating here.

A VG place to have you chicken curries/tandoori, lamb curries/kebabs, samosa, green salad, onion bhajis, veg curry at lunch time. But you have to eat fairly quickly as bookings can be full etc. Mostly delicious except for the cold paratha, naan..... Cannot really complain for buffet at £12.50 pp.

Most of us have our favourite Indian Restaurant but last night I travelled to Coriander in Hatch End because I was told that the food was really good.

If you an Indian or Asian and looking for Indian food then this is not a place for you. This is a typical Bangladeshi curry house mostly found in central Landon. their target customers are average native English who like bland some what Indian looking food. its bit expensive place as portions are smaller but important bit is this is not your Indian food your are looking for. Do not waste your time and money. I can assure you will be fully disappointed trying out a new place. Though staff is friendly and service is also fine with usual delay.

We eat in many of the Indian restaurants around Northwood, Harrow etc and must say this was one of the worst meals we have had.

Expensive but amazing staff very helpful as we were first timers there. The food was authentic as you’d have at home will definitely go back the chilli paneer was awesome!

Thursday evening - busy restaurant

We visited Corriander last Friday with friends after a few drinks in the local Moons. The meal was excellent and good value for money. Onion bhajis to die for!!

The loss of our local stand-by Indians has sent us further afield. We've been to Coriander twice and found the food good and the service helpful. Spicing fairly accurately described, but "mild" means no discernible heat. We'd recommend both the Rashmi and Rezala. However, both of thjese were house "specialities" and a little expensive. The popads were fresh and the garlic nan excellent. Wife enjoyed her rasmalai.

Service was very slow and at times we were completely ignored. I felt they needed much more staff to serve. Food good and a wide choice suitable for all.

I went for a family visit to this restaurant for an early Sunday dinner. The food was great - we had a variety of meat and chicken starters with naan and some butter chicken and a prawn speciality dish for mains with some pilau rice. I couldn’t fault the food. The restaurant was clean and waiters were polite. I also enjoyed the condiments that came with the poppadoms and starters. I would recommend this Indian restaurant.

Have just returned from my second meal at Coriander. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. Very fresh and really tasty. Huge menu and loads of choices for vegetarians.

If, like me, you have tried many good Indian restraunts and are looking for the very best in Indian cuisine, then look no further, than Coriander, in Hatch End. It's food, is of such high standard that once you have eaten their, you will certainly return many times, to enjoy, good service, great food, in a friendly, atmosphere, that is in my top 3, of all the many Asian restraunts, I have tried worldwide. Have been to numerous Indian restaurants in the area but Coriandor is by far the best. Such delicious food!!! Great service too. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but generally eventually find somewhere not too far away. Go and try it!! Soon!!

Been few times but can't fault it, except Sunday lunch. Great menu choice with good portions of excellent food and very good attentive service. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. It even has a proper disabled toilet what a surprise.

Staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere. Food was tasty and served without a long wait. The only downside was the barman was not on duty so I was unable to get my daughter-in-law the birthday drink she wanted. My granddaughter also wanted a mocktail which again we were unable to have. We have not been for a while but the meal we had tonight was really delicious. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant today and the staff seemed a little confused. Their English is not great but the food is excellent.Their curries come up looking clean and appetising. I would recommend it.

I went along last night with a friend having read very good reviews. The samosas were first rate as was the onion bhaji and the very different chicken dishes which followed were exceptional, both on the house special list. My preference was the dish (Haliyali?) cooked in coriander and mint. At £11.90 they are more pricey than some places but it was value for money. The meat was very tender, not having that chewiness you sometimes experience.

I get many takeaways from here and I've also had sit down meals in here - both are very good!

Sunday lunch time is buffet lunch time for Coriander. There is the staple onion bhaji , chicken tandoori, nan bread and paratha with pilau rice as well as chicken tikka masala, keema lamb, Bombay aloo and dhal with salad amongst others. The choice isn’t bad and rather tasty. Will certainly go again.

We went with friends for the first time to this restaurant and were very pleased to be able to start with pints of reasonably priced draught Cobra. Poppadums also arrived promptly in what was clearly a very busy mid week evening.

Havent had a curry out in a long time as I look to cook Indian food, however decided last minute to eat here myself, my husband and two kids. Food was probably some of the best food I have eaten in a long time and lovely young waiter entertained the kids ! The only reason I left of the last star was the evening was rushed due to not booking and a few of the older waiters were obviously wanting us out ASAP however that was probably our fault. Highly recommended!!

Always a pleasant meal, and it seems to be reasonable for lunch as well . I have also been by myself - that is unusual for an Indian restaurant.

Consistently good but best of all is the self service Sunday lunch. Give yourself a few days to prepare and a few more to recover but the food is excellent, the choice great, and if you like curry and chips - I know, shame on me - well here's your chance!

This was not my first visit to this restaurant but this is my first review.

First the only complaint, ordered a king prawn balti it was not king prawn. having said that the food was excellent. Spices that added flavour rather than just heat. My biryani was the best i have had in many a year. will definitely order another take away soon

Corriander is a restaurant that divides opinion amongst people I know. Some love it, and some don't, so the only way to find out was to try it ourselves.

I have been going to Coriander since it opened. So over a period of time, I reckon to have had more than 100 meals. Getting it right a few times, is good, a dozen times is marvelous, but I can honestly say, I have never had a bad meal there or bad service. Probably accounts for why it's always busy, especially given the competition around Hatch-End - and why I and my family, keep on going back.

If you like a fine Dinning Indian Restaurant at a reasonable rate then Coriander hits the mark. Very friendly service and great food is reasonable start to success. The restaurant has been in Hatchend for over 5 years and you can tell when a restaurant is doing well when you see how many customers it has sitting at its tables and you can tell that Coriander is doing well as it’s always busy. And that’s because the owner has a full complement of trained staff and a great cook. The owner also makes a point to meet his guests when he is on site and tends to treat his guests very well. Highly recommend this restaurant!
