I used to go to here a lot and it was excellent. I went tonight and the food was only ok. I ordered a "fairly hot" dish but it was very mild with no heat whatsoever. Unfortunately the food was also cold. I didn't complain while I was there as they were busy and I didn't want to make a fuss but I won't be going back. I now have to find an alternative which is sad as it used to be so good.

Awful meal of oily, tasteless onion bhajis served with a brown sauce that tasted like HP, 2 veggie curries of nothing but frozen vegetables, a Peshwari nan that was dry and flavoured only with a bit of desiccated coconut, and a soggy, greasy bag of the cheapest French fries you can buy. £35 basically in the bin!

I recommend everyone to come to this amazing, lovely Indian restaurant ❤️. The service was excellent, food was amazing, tasty and healthy, and the atmosphere in Restaurant was relaxing and cosy 😀. We would like to thank Younus for his amazing service.

The most delicious freshly prepared Punjabi food for those with a discerning palette. If you want basic run of the mill Indian go somewhere else. As locals and regular customers who has tasted Indian food for decades, we have made this restaurant our favourite regular place to go. Always served with grace and smiles by this hardworking team.

We booked for the Wednesday five course meal deal and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself has a cafe vibe and would benefit from more accessories to the decor but it was bright and clean. Service was swift, but our main course order was taken as we were eating our starters which felt odd. Staff were respectful and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful but not exactly five courses, more starters and sides. This did not hinder our enjoyment as we ate more than enough. The chicken in my murgh makhni was very tender and the prawn puri starter was lovely. Kingfisher 650ml lager was £6.50. The rest of my party agreed it was well worth the visit.

Takeaway. Taste of India. Holt. Boosts. TASTE OF INDIA HOLT is an Authentic Cuisine in HOLT, tempted by an unrivaled range of Authentic & Imaginative traditional and fusion dishes. My Order 1 x Onion baji £4.25 1 x Chicken Tikka Massala £10.50 1 x Aloo Gobi £4.50 1 x Vegtable Rice £4.15 1 x Bindi Bhaji £4.50 Total £27.90 I have used this restaurant and takeaway many times but 16 October 2024 will be the last time. You might think that Garlic is part of Indian food but this is the first time this restaurant has put or used it in any of the dishes that I have chosen in the last 7 years. To me, Garlic spoils the taste of food and takes over any Authentic Tastes it ends up tasting of Garlic. The size of the onion bargees (see snap) is just a bit bigger than a ping-pong ball, there are onions for goodness sake and very little price increase in a net full of onions over the last 3 years, what the heck? Dont say that the labour costs are much higher than 2 years ago, it's an onion Barge They have also started to use a ready-made red sauce, certainly NOT an original tasting Tandori-made sauce that they boost as part of their advertising. This has lost the authentic Indian-tasting food I once enjoyed from here and in my opinion the sauce is an insult to traditional Indian cooking and food. Their foil trays are now a lot smaller than say 18 months ago. When once a tray was suitable for 1 1/2 to 2 persons is now only good for 1 person. I get the feeling that since it's the only Indian Restaurant in the HOLT area they can cook and deliver food that is not as good as it once was including the smaller food trays. There was nothing Authentic about the food I had ordered. Authentic Indian food is one of the best-tasting types of food available but this was and is an insult to Indian food. An extremely disappointing Indian Takeaway in taste and size of portions from once a delightful tasting and smelling Indian food from this, restaurant/takeaway. In my opinion, they need to rethink what. Traditional Indian Tasting Food means.

Friday 6 December 1200hrs. I AM IN MY 80s AND THIS IS THE WORST TANDOORI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. A short while ago, I had a takeaway from Holt and reported a review on this website about how bad that was, but this is most definitely the worst Tandoori food I have ever had and almost tasteless. It was so bad that I was unable to finish eating the ordered meal. The owner should be so ashamed to allow reheated food to come to the table, it wasn't even piping hot, and the rice was reheated or recooked and was showing signs of being burnt, not hot and steaming as you would expect and the Tandoori food was almost tasteless, certainly not freshly cooked. Just how can you get All Gobi to the table not piping hot, just warm, is beyond me. My two guests were very polite and they said nothing but my male guest explained the situation by leaving at least half of his meal, so I knew that his food was as uneatable as mine. From my experience, I have had far better curries from a supermarket box. ThIS FOOD was an Insult to Tandoori Food, especially as 86 quid was the TOTAL price. I did think about taking the uneaten food home for another meal later but to have a repeat of this food was too much to choose. Any photo of food is not offered by me and stock photos. It was an awful atmosphere too and so very cold I didn't take my Puffa Jacket off. In the end, I am unable to keep the original bill/receipt given to me and a scrap of paper was issued as my bill/receipt. A complete disaster of treating my friends and never to return to this Fakenham Tandoori restaurant. The frozen ice cream was OK, but my guests choice was not available.

Excellent Indian with friendly staff & great service. We had takeaway for family of four on Saturday early evening. After dropping by & leaving another Cromer Indian near the cliff, which was very unwelcoming, and said no takeaway till nine, we called Cromer Tandoori - what a different and amazing welcome. They couldn’t have been more helpful & polite. Easy to order, fair price, welcoming and ready in 20 mins. The good was non greasy, flavourful & exactly as described. One of the best Indian meals in a long while. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Stibbard for a week, hardly any places do delivery, so all agreed on an Indian. My daughters soooo fussy, but she loved it! The chicken was probably the most tender chicken I've ever tasted!!! Ordering and delivery was first class! Would 100% return for another cracking takeaway 😋😋😋
