We decided to have takeaway. We ordered kari and balti. The food had too much onion in both curries and they tasted exactly the same. The taste was not the best but not the worst I have had. I wouldn’t go again as I feel I didn’t get what I ordered and they was more onion than anything else. Thursday evening and not one person in restaurant. That says it all.

Very poor and rushed service. Brusque waiter. Menus and table had food smudged on them. Used fork not changed for main course. Naan breads arrived 5 minutes after main course served. No atmosphere whatsoever. Waiter hovered over us twice within 1 minute to take our unfinished plates and it was only 9.15 ish. As for the food: bland and uninteresting. The most unsophisticated madras I’ve had in over 30 years and I eat in a lot of Indian restaurants.

Food was 5/10, the Korma, Rogan Josh and Tikka Massala's were all bland and oily. Mainly, the service was shocking. The waitor didnt listen to what we wanted and kept having to pause us to use his ipad to then run through the full order 3 times. Service was slow and the restaurant lacks any character and ambience. Wouldn't recommend (and I love indian food and curry houses). Go to one of the pubs.

Recommended by someone who recently had a nice takeaway, entered the restaurant completely dead bar one table full of screaming kids running around, zero atmosphere in the place. Not even any music until about halfway through the meal and it was just eerily quiet. Restaurant itself needs a good clean, staff seemed slightly surprised at our arrival and didn’t rush to help us whatsoever lol, quite blunt with us all night and ignored our requests then tried to charge us extra at the end! I ordered a paneer dish, there were 4 small pieces of paneer in there, not worth the money sadly. Needs a complete revamp as could be a lovely spot.

Ordered a takeaway for two and collected as staying only minutes away. Food quality excellent and mix-up with my online order which they dealt with brilliantly. Would recommend.

Probably the worst Indian restaraunt in the British isles - most items either undercooked, overly sweet, or just plain bad. Don't waste your money.

We had heard that it had changed hands, and improved, so visited. Mid week, one other couple eating, the place is bland to say the least, no atmosphere at all. The food was very average, they did not sell alcohol but now do, but not a single item on show behind the bar, get the picture? I had a chicken biryani best way to describe it hunt the chicken. The staff then decided to sit down and eat, really very odd. They really need to up their game as this is a very average (at best) Indian restaurant. Money better spent elsewhere.

We were staying at nearby holiday accommodation and ordered our meals on line. I ordered it before it was open and asked that it was delivered for 6pm. It arrived promptly and as requested received a call from the delivery driver on their arrival as I requested. The meal was excellent and were given extra popadoms and onion Bahai’s. If you are staying in Catfield area I thoroughly recommend you try this take away.

Delicious take away. We decided to order from here on our last night staying at an air bnb locally. Quick service on a Friday evening and portions were big. There were lots of pieces of chicken in my butter chicken main dish which was fantastic. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything that a good Indian restaurant should be but sadly rarely is these days. Excellent tandoori with the sweetest of onions, fluffy gorgeous naan, thick tarka daal and great aubergines. Very good duck Karachi - beautifully tender duck breast. All concluding with a 90s Punky ice cream…..we’ll it could have done. Excellent 👌🏽 would certainly return

On the Norfolk Broads again rang for takeaway as we did last time was just as good could not fault would definitely recommend

We ordered takeaway last night it was awful portions of chips x2 not enough chips to make one portion (pictures included ) half filled portion of a starter (picture included) and all curry's were watery and lacked their usual taste. Our friend recommended the place as they normally have a lovely dinner and live locally in Hickling .customer service was awful the person my friend spoke to said no refund for bad food,and basically said for us not to bother using them again and that they were happy for us to leave a bad review - this shows they have lack of pride in their business and its reputation .

Excellent food with efficient and friendly service. Chicken Madras and Peas Pilau. Chicken Chilli Garlic Masala with garlic nan. Superb! Stalham needs to appreciate what an excellent Indian Restaurant it has. Highly recommended.

Where to start? They got the order wrong. We came home without our poppadoms and plain rice instead of pilau rice. We know the order was placed correctly based on the price we paid And the food quality was disappointing, as well as the taste. Everything was very salty. One of the chicken dishes had more veg than chicken pieces in it. It also tasted more Italian than Indian! Overall very poor value for money and disappointing because the menu looks good. Hair found in the popadoms. Purchased a takeaway from them and when I got back home found a hair in amongst the popadoms. This put us off eating any of the other food. We phone the restaurant initially they offered to give us free popadoms on the next visit. after much debate and several phone calls we recieved a full refund. Will not be going there again, obviously their hygiene standards fall well below what they should be.

We are a regular customer of approximately 10 years. Tonight our food took 3 1/2 hours to be delivered to us and upon delivery it was cold and was the wrong order with stuff missing. We tried to call them several times but they didn’t answer. Absolutely awful and we will never order from them again. Basically they took our money, delivered whatever they wanted to, whenever they wanted to. There are plenty of other good takeaways in this area- use them instead! They won’t nick your money and refuse to answer the phone.

Arrived sat at 6.30, they were not busy and managed to fix up a table of eight for us. Order was taken reasonable swiftly. The starters arrived before they cleared he table after poppadoms, there were not enough plates or cutlery so we had to wait for them. Two of the starters were stone cold and were returned. Main meals did not all come out together I had to remind them that I had not received mine after 5 mins. Mains were OK apart from one which was only luke warm. They did deduct the cost of the 2 starters from the bill but it was a very mild apology.

This place is not our closest Indian restaurant but it's well worth the 20 minute car ride. Great service and food, some more interesting dishes than the run of the mill CTM and Madras etc. Chef will try and make you whatever you like. Not expensive, although they do constantly ask if you'd like anymore to drink, but maybe they're just being attentive? Decor is contemporary and fairly plain, but every time I've been I can park close by for free which is a bonus!

The menu is very good and we were not disappointed. The food was very good, cooked fresh and the service was friendly. We visited twice during our week long holiday on the broads and on both visits the quality of the food was great.

Good food but not sure about their safety standards around Covid. One pint of Cobra lager was £4.50, but two half pints was £5.80.

I don’t think this restaurant realised that we are in a COVID situation. We were completely disappointed on our visit, zero social distancing, staff were not wearing face masks/shields. The staff were unhelpful, as soon as you have ordered your meal it almost seems the staff have done “their bit” we were dissatisfied with our meals but felt there was no point in complaining as they just couldn’t be bothered. As we asked for our bill, we asked for the WiFi password but was told “no” as we paying. We were told the next day by the locals to try the other Indian that was close by. I do not recommend wasting your time by visiting here.

Best balti ive ever had, although the service was abit slow the food itself was amazing making it worth the wait. I would highly recommend going here, especially if you’re visiting the area for the first time, easy to book and friendly staff.

Ordered a takeaway totalling £50 for 4people.told it would be 30mins. I opted to collect the order of 4korma plus rice and other side dishes. Arrived at the restaurant 20mins after place the order. Order surprisingly was ready. Got home dished up the meal, which looked delicious but very disappointed that every dish was cold. Very disappointed. Just to note I live 2 minutes from oasis so meal wouldn't have lost all its heat during the journey.

Had a lovely meal here some years ago, which was an introduction to Indian Cuisine for my 2 boys. We returned midweek and had another cracking meal. There is a very comprehensive menu and the food is cooked to perfection. For a midweek booking the restaurant was busy although this did not detract from the service we received. I would highly recommend the Oasis 2.

Visited as a party of 5. Restaurant lovely and clean and COVID secure in terms of layout. Good range of drinks too. Food was fantastic, however the service was terrible.The time taken to take our order seemed like forever, staff seemed to disappear, once ordered the preparation time was pretty standard, the service staff were rude and abrupt, with either no knowledge of the current social distancing rules or no regard, as constantly leaning over us and touching as leaning over etc. If I’m in the area again would I use? Maybe for a takeaway.

We have been visitors to the Stalham area every year and on our last visit two years ago we came here and liked the food - though the attitude of the staff was extremely poor. This time went for take out and were sent over to a shabby corner and essentially dismissed. Whilst trying to order at a bar - the guy taking our order was also taking phone calls for orders - ignored us and was very rude. The food arrived and the guy put it on a table without looking at us and we left. When we got home the food was cold, swimming in ghee and very underwhelming. All in all it was a waste of time and money. Not a great start to some much needed time away. Never again.

The food was amazing. Usual British Indian classics plus quite a few that we'd never heard of. All of the food was absolutely top notch. Melt in the mouth, very tasty, perfectly spiced. The service wasn't fantastic and the staff seemed a bit bored but with food like that I can forgive having to ask 3 times for a drink, Would highly recommend the food, best Indian I've had in ages and definitely in the top 3 Indian meals I've ever had. We stopped at the Oasis 2 after we couldn't get a table at The Swan Inn and I'm so glad we did! We all said it was one of the tastiest Indians we've ever had! I had the tikka masala with special fried rice and a keema naan and couldn't fault the meal one bit. Very tasty! The waiter was funny and full of banter. Drinks were a bit on the pricey side but nothing out of the ordinary for a restaurant. Only disappointment was that it wasn't part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme but the meal was worth every penny! If you're visiting Stalham I'd definitely recommend.

I had called in advance to book a table. Arrived as the restaurant opened up for the evening. I asked for baby changing to which I got pointed to the bathroom, I went over and did not find a baby changing station, so came out to ask where it was, then was told there wasn’t one. We had to change the baby on the disabled bathroom floor. Then we sat down and the waiter came over to ask us for drinks but hadn’t given us the menu. He came over again after two minutes and we were still in decided on drinks. My husband then asked for a small kingfisher which was on there menu. But the waiter said there was only large available no substitute was offered. By this point we had, had enough of the restaurant and left without ordering. Possibly a language barrier with the baby changing, but no excuse for the poor service shown. One to definitely avoid!

The food in this restaurant is really good one of the best Dansaks I have had. I have only given 3 stars as the service was diabolical. ....... the tables are far too close together for covid guidelines. ... the staff were wearing masks however most were on their chins and not covering their mouths and nose...... they got the food and drinks orders wrong and were trying to take our plates away before we had finished ....... probably rushed off their feet you may think but the restaurant was only about half full and there was plenty of staff ....... great food thought if they get your order right

Seriously the best curry we have had in years. The food was hot, delivered well and delicious. Service was fantastic and the restaurant very clean. Definitely worth a ten

On holiday a few miles from Stalham and they delivered to our holiday home. It was a really high quality meal, cooked to perfection. I can recommend the Tandoori mixed grill, my husband loved his King Prawn biriani and my son his lamb shank. The mushroom side was really very good too. Definitely made the right choice of restaurant!

We have recently moved to the area & tried this Indian restaurant based on reviews. So glad we did. Amazing flavours to all dishes. Good portion sizes. Fantastic food. I'd give 6 stars if I could, the food was that good. Delivered free of charge. Will be using this place whenever we want an Indian takeaway.

Been here a few times for takeaway but tried the monkfish Madras tonight...Amazing! I have eaten Asian cuisine between Luton and Mumbai but this seriously tips them all! Go off piste... Don't have a boring balti and ask the chef for his recommendations. 10/10

Booked a table for 4,arrived 18.20 restaurant was very basic and clean , staff very polite waiter took our orders we had a drink while waiting for our food which took 55 minutes !!!!! there was only 8 people in the restaurant so wasn’t busy !!! I had special fried rice which was cold and dry chilli garlic duck which was nice to taste but food was very Luke warm the same as the rest rice was cold tandoori prawns were very dry and Luke warm chicken curry was nice again very Luke warm not the best of foods

As always the food was great and so was the service, in over ten years of using this takeaway we have only ever had the issue of wrong food once which they offered to correct straight away.Don’t be put off by the bad reviews, this place is great and so is the service, trust me when I say that as I eat way to much Indian food

Visited this lovely establishment for a 3 course meal. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. Almost immediately our drinks order was taken and they arrived at the table within seconds. The friendly waiting staff were quick and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food and quick service we have received. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this lovely Indian restaurant to anyone.

Staying in Norfolk for a few days and after reading the local takeaways reviews I was a little skeptical. Order a takeaway for a family of four from the moment we walked into the restaurants I was met with smiles and hospitality. Was a Thursday night and they had one table eating in. We ordered and our food was ready in 20mins. Got back to our accommodation and enjoyed one of the best Indian meals for many years. King Prawn Biryani was incredible, tandoori chicken tasty and plentiful, they even made chicken pakora off from the menu for the kids. If you’re looking for somewhere to try and are in the area I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Enjoy.

We are holidaying in Stalham and fancied treating ourselves to a nice meal. We had spotted Oasis 2 when taking the dogs out and it looked really nice.

After some interesting fishing, my family and I headed to the the Oasis on a rather wet Wednesday evening during our half term holiday. We found it to be a pleasant experience.

This curry house has to be one of the worst I have visited.

We have visited this restaurant several times over the four years we have been local. In the early days everything was very good but sadly not now.

Items missing it tasted horrible. Ordered take away on a very quite night and the food was crap and items missing .don't waste your money.

Good selection and well presented Indian dishes-super breads and interesting selection of chef's specials. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We ordered via phone and food was delivered within 40 minutes, they did forget my coke but they rang me and apologised and said driver would bring straight out. Food was excellent and very good value.

We did not enjoy evening at the Oasis restaurant, the person who served us did not smile once. We were not made to feel welcome, the staff need to learn some basic Customer service like engaging with their customers and saying please and thank you. My last visit, nearly a year ago, was a poor experience regarding the service. This time it was much improved. The service was good and the food authentic. The meals were hot and well prepared. The wine, Pinot Grigio, was still of poor quality but the food is to be recommended. The food is also competitively priced.

Went on spec on a wet Wednesday evening. Very good greeting and the decor is new and well done. Four of us shared 3 starters and 3 mains all of which were excellent and served beautifully a couple of rice and 2 garlic nan which were great. Only Cobra was available on draught but was in good condition. Cobra 0 alcohol was also available, a small prosecco and a large dry white wine completed our order. Great value-only £62 for the lot. Highly recommended!
