The best restaurants serving Indian food in Bedford East of England

This is a real gem of a place. Most delicious Indian street food and Chai. I had the Halwa Puri Chana. Best Puris I have ever eaten. Delicious Masala Chai

Was searching for Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and came across these guys on google. It is a home based business but they seem really professional. I ordered off UberEats for pickup. The Lamb Biryani was amazing. On the bone how it should be. Full of Masala. Took me back to Pakistan. Made me a permanent customer.

Was told i'd have to wait for a table for a short while, as the place was really busy, which was fine, i've been here before and knew what to expect... and yet again, didn't dissapoint... butter chicken is an absolute smashing dish, top-class, couldn't reccomend anyome, me and the missus both agree... friendly staff, even though they seemed REALLY busy.

Good food, good price and portions.

The butter chicken was too light in colour and lacked flavour. The other curries were also tasteless . Ive tried this place twice now and it’s the same story.

Always drive past this place and finally got to check it out. It was a very confusing experience. Having white tables, doesn’t automatically make a place opulent. Food standard didn’t match the surrounding. Paneer tikka was actually really nice, small but still good. Confused to why a place like that needed such a bright fake green chutney tho. Curries were odd to say the least. I always get sad when restaurants think they can serve whatever and their customers don’t know any better. Had about 5 pieces of lamb in the naga. It was full of heat but lacked flavour and complexity. Butter chicken was more like a korma.. which still tasted good but wasn’t anything like a butter chicken. Naans were nice.

My house is in the middle of nowhere up a long lane , my orders always arrive hot and on time . The food is amazing very tasty and fresh . I would highly recommend

We have been coming here for years with our friend Chris.. we came tonight for our annual festive meal and really enjoyed our evening ... food was lovely as was the atmosphere and the friendly and quick service from the staff ... see you again soon !!

1st visit to Indian summer the decor is clean fresh, nice dining booths and dining tables. The staff all smiles and friendly greeting even a bit of banter on the football game tomorrow. Drinks arrived pretty quick and we ordered poppadoms whilst deciding what to order for the mains. Well I must say the food was excellent everyone commented on how nice the food was as we all ordered differently from each other. If I visit Bedford again I will dine at Indian summer for sure.

I love this place - been going with family and friends for years. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is great, the staff are welcoming and attentive. Had a great time visiting last night, and our waiter Marbs couldn’t have been better. 10/10.

Buena comida. Originalmente teníamos la intención de comer como lo hicimos hace un par de meses, pero pensamos que habíamos dejado demasiado tarde para reservar así que ordenó una comida para llevar. De hecho, había mesas disponibles, así que cualquiera que lea esto, trate de reservar no importa lo tarde que crea que lo ha dejado. La otra cara es que las comidas para llevar también son sobresalientes y no tuve que caminar mucho para llegar al sofá después! Hemos tenido dos cenas y dos comidas para llevar en los últimos meses, Royal Gurkha nunca pierde un ritmo. I dined here with my friends for a meal, and the service was excellent! The manager, waitresses as well as other staff were very friendly. The music and vibe was really delightful, very relaxing. I have been to many Indian restaurants and might I say Alamin Tandori was by far my favourite. The food was really flavourful. It was finger-licking good! As well as the desserts. The prices are very reasonable as well! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Whilst the service was OK (nothing spectacular, had to wait approx 15 mins just for naan), the food was average. Edible yes. Delicious NO Atmosphere was dull. I won't be visiting again.
