This remains the best Indian restaurant in the area. Iāve been going for 30 years, and whilst I have tried a few of others (one time each) I have never found anything as good as Helal. We had visitors over from Europe in December, who enjoyed it so much, we ended up going twice in during their 10-day visit. The food is amazing and the staff are fun and friendly too.

Very disappointed the prices have gone up so much its ridiculous, what we didnt realise you have to order rice separately now when ordering a takeaway we wasnt told this so ended up with curry and no rice, the curry only had tiny few bits of chicken definitely not worth the money

Me and my husband will always come to saffron for an Indian. Absolutely love this place, this is the only Indian that is worth going to in Skegness. The food is out of this world. The customer service from the staff is absolutely amazing they are never rude to customers, they are always welcoming and friendly. I will tell all my family to come and try saffron. They have vegetarian options

First visit to this restaurant, access is via steps to the front, not sure if they have alternative access. The menu has a wide selection of different Indian dishes, from mild to blow your head off. There were dishes I had never heard of. Service was quick and efficient and the food portion was generous. Too much for some to eat it all, will go back again if the opportunity arrives.

Despite booking, there seemed to be an issue when we arrived with finding us a table and we didnāt feel at all welcomed, not even the usual cheery hello, being ignored by about 4 members of staff. We waited nearly 10 minutes for a drinks order to be taken, then neither of the two ciders on the drinks list were available. The service throughout the meal was very haphazard, with multiple servers, none of whom seemed to know what others were doing! In terms of the food, the Chicken Sagwala contained lamb and the Adha Doniya Chicken dish was 80% green pepper (although there was no mention of green peppers on the dish description and Iām unable to find any recipe that suggests the inclusion of peppers). Since my husband canāt eat peppers it meant his meal was spoilt. Overall the restaurant seemed disorganised and chaotic. My reviews of India Village have previously been excellent but after this experience we may not bother returning.

Please noteā¦.this is no longer in Alford, it is now in Mablethorpe on Victoria Road. It is also called Moās and not Nayeemas. It is really difficult to find as there isnāt really a sign outside. There is also no car park available other than a very small amount of on street parking. Itās a very strange place and doesnāt look like an Indian restaurant, it seems like theyāve not long moved from Alford as the restaurant is tiny, Iād say only caterers for 20 people maximum. They also do not have their alcohol licence yet so are unable to serve alcohol, however you are able to take your own alcohol. Soft drinks are available. Booking is advisable as itās such a small place at the moment. The food was delicious! I had a chicken tikka masala and my partner had a chicken korma, the chicken was cooked to perfection. If you are an average size portion eater then sharing a curry, rice and naan bread between 2 is more than enough. We ordered one each of everything not realising how big the portions were! The naan breads are homemade and absolutely delicious! The restaurant also does takeaway, which can be collected or they do deliver (charges apply) The young lady who served usā¦I believe her name may have been Bobby. She was absolutely brilliant, she was about the only person there doing anything! She managed every table by herself and dealt with the people coming in for collections. The other people working there seem to have inappropriate conversations too close to public ears, and really like to moan about each other! But in summary, the food was fantastic and Bobby was an amazing waitress. Worth a visit.

The worst Indian food I have ever had.. Thin watery gravy that wouldn't coat the back of a spoon.. No spice and no depth of flavour. Small dry pieces of chicken that looked lost in a sad puddle of sauce. I wouldn't go back if it was free. Left our mains paid and will never return. Absolutely shocking

My family and I ordered a just eat take-out this evening from The Spice Lounge. Delivery was slightly delayed as we live a bit of a distance away but the food arrived piping hot and oh my days was absolutely delicious. Best curry that we have eaten in a long time and well worth the money. Very highly recommended. Thank you so much š Nicky, Gary and Tom

Ordered the £18.15 Prawn Shashlik as a treat and came with 5 prawns, a tiny bag of salad and no Naan Bread. If you try and order from their main website the order function is disabled. This means you can only use Foodhub or Just eat. Both menus advertise this coming with the bread, and of course for the price, you'd expect it. When I got the order it wasn't there, I asked where was it, I had two members of staff shouting at me down the phone saying I was wrong. It couldn't believe how confrontational they were. They kept shouting. I couldn't speak because of it. They said it's never been on the menu. But why is it advertised? Why does it cost so much? I've included photos. But I'm just in disbelief with how they spoke to me.
