RASOI Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in East Lindsey

The worst Indian food I have ever had.. Thin watery gravy that wouldn't coat the back of a spoon.. No spice and no depth of flavour. Small dry pieces of chicken that looked lost in a sad puddle of sauce. I wouldn't go back if it was free. Left our mains paid and will never return. Absolutely shocking

Place is disgustingly dirty. Food is just awful. Dont let the knew people on the front desk fool u. It’s still the same man who was prosecuted for having poop particles and rat and mould on the vegetables he served. I’m sick thinking about it.

We visited here as a couple around 3 times previously before it changed name and had really good food so we took family there this week when they were visiting It started well with good poppadoms which is often a good sign but that was it. I had biryani which was totally tasteless, it was as though it was just pilau rice with bits of chicken in it, there was not even a hint of spice. Everyone else’s food was totally bland Never again

This is called Masala Hut , we were recommended by a friend. Booked for a Saturday at 7pm, was quiet but soon got busy. Only a small place so definitely book. We had 3 starters, poppadoms and pickle tray ( some were too runny for me ) 4 mains with rice and nans. It was about 85 quid which was reasonable. The food was very good and we will come back here for sure. I picked lamb as did my pal, his was madras and mine was something like Regaza but the meat was so tender. The ladies both had chicken, one dupiaza and one jalfrezi. Really great food, easy parking in the village. The restaurant is up a back street and looks nothing from the outside.

Now called Masala Hut, this was our second visit, and it won’t be our last. We have a holiday home in the area and visit often to see family. Buffet night offers an incredible choice and the quality didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, cute surroundings and a little hidden gem you must try….

This is now called Masala Hut. Ordered a take away. Paid for it, but had to correct them on the price because the guy couldn't add up. Then they couldn't supply what I ordered. The food was bland. All the sauces tasted the same and I would guess they were bought in, not made on site. Overall a bitter disappointment. Will not go back again.

Disappointing. Garlic chill prawn was bland. Garlic tikka masala also bland, chicken was dry. Chicken nugget meal for kid at £8 was probably one of the worst I've seen not even edible had to cook him something. Rice was beautiful however will not return

What an amazing menu!! Dishes I had never experienced are now among my favourites. Great service, friendly welcome and excellent food.

Hidden gem. Tucked away off the road is a fabulous little restaurant. Since moving to the area we have really struggled to find a place to get a good Indian meal. Rasoi certainly hit the spot, the food was so fresh and tasty with some very different choices to many places. Prices were good and service was fabulous We will definitely be back

Very disappointed with our takeaway yesterday evening 1/8/23 , not to its usual quality sadly , both main courses were more spicier than previous visits , then on consulting the menu later we were charged incorrectly with was probably our fault for not checking at the time . Won’t be visiting again unfortunately.

We went to the restaurant last night with friends. It’s tucked out the way a little, but there is parking out front in the square. The staff were very inviting and the manager was a great guy, with a very good sense of humour. It’s a take your own alcohol, but they have soft drinks which eases the pain a little. In my opinion I think the food was good on the whole and on Sunday they do a fix deal which was also good value at £12 per head. I will definitely return Thanks for great service and food.

The smell even before we walked through the door was enticing and as soon as walked inside we received a very warm welcome. Decor is original and well laid out. Interesting menu, with a mix of what you would expect, plus a few surprises if you want to try something new. Poppadoms were nice. Onion bhagi’s were ok and worth paying the extra on the banqueting night to try something new - momo. All our main courses were really good and the House Special was exceptional- one of the best, flavoursome curries I have tried in years. Good value - great food - excellent service. Until next time…

Went for the first time to eat in the restaurant. Excellent service by all the staff. Our family were with us from Glasgow. We have had a takeaway previously. The manager also spoke with us. The food was exceptional. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I will definitely be back very soon. Try it for yourselves.

Had a takeaway but the curry lacked flavours, nan breads were disappointing. Portions are OK, abit of a wait even when pre ordering

Really tasty dishes. We both had Nepalese traditional curries and they were really good. You are asked what spice level you’d like and they got it perfect. The chef came out to ask us if we liked it. He was Nepalese and seemed really chuffed we’d ordered his traditional dishes - which we thought was really cute. The young man who served us was delightful and my husband commented he’d like to poach him for his business! He was friendly, polite and engaging. We visited 14/07/2023 at 7:30pm. He was a credit to his generation. Highly recommend

We had been recommended to this restaurant so gave it a go. From calling to book, ordering our meal and paying the reasonably priced bill, the service was excellent, we will be back (young man) 😁

We went for a family dinner having heard that Rasoi had introduced Nepali dishes. Really enjoyed the Hariyali chicken and the Khatmandu mono masala. We were still able to order some firm favourites like chicken tikka masala for our children and peshwari naan. Excellent service from the waiters. Will definitely go again. Next time I want to try the chicken chettinad which is another Nepali dish.

It’s was the best Indian restaurant in Lincolnshire and the house dishes were amazing and the have vegan dishes
