One of the worst jalfrezzi takeaways I've had. Resembled no jalfrezzi I've ever had.

I have had two takeaways from Asha since moving to the area and on both occasions the food was delicious. I used to live in Leicester so I know what a really good curry tastes like and Asha ticks the box.

Food was nice but chicken tikka masala was too hot more like curry taste. 4 poppadom £10.00 not even that much down south to expensive.

Great Indian food. Price, service, taste, all exceptional. Probably one of the best Indians in the area. Very modern and clean restaurant.

Held a work leaving gathering here for approx 28 people. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious food, varied menu, good portion sizes. Ali was very friendly and did great cutting the cake! A bit chaotic end of the evening when coming to pay for drinks. Cash only under £20. Can only pay on card if I over £20 and most people's drinks didn't come to over £20. People commented how expensive drinks were, particularly soft drinks as most people driving. Recommended and would visit again and try other dishes. Parking nearby.

We ordered chicken tika masala, it was nice but the sauce was a bit curdled but nice either way. But the issue was the chips, you would think, you can't go wrong with them, but here we are. Oily, oily, soggy, no good. Curious if it was just with us, or is it how they make it...

Had a lovely staff meal at Asha tonight. We were a very large group, but everything was very well organised so that all the food arrived correctly. Staff were very friendly, and the service was fabulous. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thank you

We are staying in kenwick park lodges and had a delivery so can't rate the atmosphere but the food was good rated a four based on the chips were a little dry and my wife says the korma could have been a bit more sweeter I had a lamb tikka Balti which was bang on the service was a little late but I guess the driver took his time along the icy lanes up to our lodge so understandable all in all very nice curry and would definitely recommend

Tried the restaurant today and it was amazing as a family that has been to Mumbai and had the true authentic experience this was very close to being in India 🇮🇳 Definitely recommend and will be there again soon

Food was ok not brilliant I've had better place was nice staff were pleasant but what annoyed me I ordered a meal and it was £11.95 chicken or lamb was the same price so I asked for it mix and was told it would be dearer how does that work would not go in there again tbh

I come from bradford i grew up on curry and since been in louth for 4 years i havent been able to have a proper fresh curry until now asha is the best curry house in louth perfectly cooked nicely spice the taste took me back to when i was younger i would give 10 out of 10 if i could thanks .. ABSOLUTLY DELICIOUS .

I'm sorry but my wife and I found it very disappointing. Spices and chillies should be cooked. Not just added last minute because we asked for the dish to be hot. This was after requesting the starter to be hot and it wasn't. But we were given a small dish of sweet chilli to dip the tasteless pakoras into. Not sure where the roti came from. Certainly not fresh . As I reluctantly paid the £60 bill I was asked if we enjoyed the meal. When I said it wasn't has we expected I was surprised to be told it's not possible to make a meal taste home made in a restaurant. The staff were friendly and seemed surprised when we didn't want to take all the food we left home with us. One annoying point is don't be seated near the toilet. The waiters keep their putting there serving trolly there and it gets annoying every time they swing it past you. I don't like giving negative reviews and understand each to their own. All I can really say is we will not be eating there again. But others I'm sure will continue to be regulars.

I have just left there and thought I had to leave a review. The 2 staff were very very welcoming and took the time to have a laugh with my kids. Now onto the food, The food was hot and and tasty and the place was very clean . Thank you and now you will have us coming back as regulars. ☆☆☆☆☆

We ordered a takeaway early one evening. The food was below average. The onion bhaji’s tasted old and being a chef myself I suspect they were warmed up from the day before. All in all very disappointing.

Lovely food, staff were attentive, food served promptly but not too rushed. Coconut on pickle tray was something new and yummy. Curries flavoursome especially the amlee. Prices are very reasonable especially when a lot of places have increased their prices to a stupidly high level.

Bad service miss full meal off offed refund or to send missing meal asked 4 meal as was a guest as we had friends ova spent ova £100 to be lied to saying thay sent food to we dint answer phone 5 times all lies then dont apologise just yes no to us on the phone like thay wasn't bothered avoid like covid 😡😡😡

Absolutely shocking service. I would avoid this establishment like the plague. We placed a £100 order for delivery, it took over an hour and half to arrive and an entire persons meal was missed from the order. We reported this to the staff who said they would deliver the missing food. After another 45 mins we called to see how much longer it would be and got a rude response from the staff, who called us liars, denied offering to send the food, refused a refund and didn’t even apologise. Needless to say we will never be using this disgusting place again. We will be reporting them to trading standards first thing on Monday.

One member of staff was quite grumpy. The food was rather bland and dissapointing. Side dishes were a large portion.

Three of us visited Asha on Friday 19th May 2023 and had a superb meal. All of our dishes had tasty fresh flavours. I had the Chicken saag grill which is cooked with spinach and peppers which was fantastic. Along with great side dishes and pilau rice cooked to perfection we have been to Asha quite a few times over the last year and every visit was enjoyed. The bright contemporary decor is great. The staff are professional, smiling and an asset to the business. Thank you we will be back soon.....Oh and the Naan bread is the best I have tasted anywhere so light and fluffy !

What a memorable meal! We had a bhuna and a dansac with lemon rice and a naan. The flavours were distinct and subtle, the fresh lemon rind in the rice was tangy. It was my daughter's (age 11) first Indian meal, she wasn't sure about the idea but she loved it. One of the dishes came out accidentally too spicey and the manager, Ali, came straight over and offered a replacement. Excellent service and delicious food. I'm booking for my birthday next month!

Hadn't booked for Saturday night, but wasn't a problem they found us a nice table for 2 Staff all pleasant and professional. Nothing too much trouble Food beautifully cooked, fresh quality ingredients, was one of the best we have had since India Will certainly be going back

We ordered a large takeaway order When we got the food home there were 4 dishes of half cooked chicken The whole meal was absolutely disgusting We complained they sent more food via delivery This was also absolutely disgusting The whole lot went in the bin Worst Indian ever DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The tables are very big, well the big round one we were sat on is. There wasn't a lot of choice on the vegetarian menu but I got round the problem by ordering 3 sides, and that was plenty. Filled me up. Everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves. Also invented a new game at the end where everyone throws their bank card into the mix and the waiter gets to randomly pick one to pay all the bill. Basically bill roulette. I enjoyed this game because I didnt have to pay.

Daughter ordered the takeaway banquet for two to be delivered, excellent service with us in no time and superb food

I've had takeaways from here a few times but the last 2 times have been absolutely shocking. Naan bread doey. Curry had no taste and my plate was full of water. Money is tight at the moment so to have a treat and I ended putting my curry in the bin.

We were so looking forward to this takeaway. However it wad very disappointing, I had a prawn dansak, it was watery and tasted bland. My wife had a vegetable Jalfrezi, which whilst spicy hot enough, was very onion based and bland. The Pashwari nan was excellent however. Won't be going back.

On holiday in Louth and we decided to go to the Asha for a meal. The service and food were excellent. Ali, the owner, very friendly and attentive. Good menu and pleasant surroundings.

Booked a table for 2 people for 6.15 pm. Young man behind the bar needs a lesson in customer care. Ignored us at first, preferring to dry glassware and answer phone instead of welcoming us. Then rudely asked "you booked?" We have our names and a waiter showed us to our table. We ordered a ginger ale and small glass of house rosé and poppadoms with pickle tray. The waiter took our order for our main course but had rather an abrupt and verged on rude manner. Not once did he smile or make us feel welcome. The main course arrived and pleasant enough. We had only just put down our knives and forks when he cleared away and asked if we'd like anything else. We ordered coffee and moments later another waiter came to us and said he needed our table back! We explained that we'd ordered coffee and expected to be able to stay at our table, especially as he said "that's ok". Wrong! I still hadn't finished my drink at this point either. The waiter then pointed towards the waiting area and said our coffee would be served there. I said to the waiter that I hoped the coffee would be complimentary in that case as we'd been evicted from our table. "Of course" he said, "we are very sorry about this". As soon as we moved from our table another couple were seated there. In hindsight, we should have asked for the bill, and left. But, instead we waited another 15 mins before saying we were going to leave as the coffee hadn't arrived. The waiter then said please wait the coffee is coming. So we waited. Coffee arrived and we asked for the bill. The last item on the bill said £15.25 but couldn't make out what is was for so I queried it. The young man in reception said it was for "drinks". £15.25 for a small glass of rosé and small ginger ale!?!! He then said it included two coffees. I explained I thought that they were complimentary as we'd been evicted from our table. His reply was "I was told to charge you for them" No, I'm sorry about that, I'll check for you! We will not be visiting ASHA again. We were totally appalled at the lack of courtesy and customer care.

Great to accommodate at the last minute for a family meal but the food was poor ! The chicken and lamb was tough and not edible. Waited over 2hrs for a main On telling the staff about the food there attitude totally changed towards us and made us feel uncomfortable. Overall experience was poor and shall not be returning

First time here, my wife had the lamb pasanda which was great I had a special curry which was superb, one of the best I've had. Menu was clear and rated all meals by how hot they are. Great staff too. Highly recommended.

We have visited 3 times over the last couple of months and it has been excellent every time. Staff are very welcoming. Service is spot on, food is absolutely delicious and everywhere is lovely and clean.

Really disappointing. Instant heartburn from one try of Madras that had overpowering rosemary in and a tikka masala without cream. It was Un edible and went to waste, we was told we had to return it to the restaurant ourselves for a part refund. Waste of £36 and a waste of time my advice avoid at all costs.

We're from Birmingham so we regularly eat in good Indian restaurants. We asked for butter/ghee on our nans, the waiter told us that they don't put butter on nan. That was the first red flag, the waiter told us we would be charged an extra £1 for each nan that had butter! We paid an extra £2 for butter on our nans! The food here was not good, the sauce in the two different meat dishes tasted the same, the side dish of vegetable bhaji was unpleasant, it contained a of alot of cabbage and little of any other vegetable.

We had a brilliant meal in the Asha, Louth. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and furnished and the staff smart, helpful and friendly. The menu has many variations on the normal Indian theme ie. Dancing Dahnsak which is a more powerful version of the normal. There are a couple of special nights (see photos) where various "thalis" are available which I have not seen anywhere else. To recap, a truly great restaurant and I really wish it was in Horncastle where I live!

Spotless premises. Staff immaculately dressed in smart uniforms. Food to die for - never been to another restaurant that comes close. Trust me, you really need to go there for yourself to try it and then you'll understand... and it is not expensive!

We regularly order take away from Asha. The food is always very tasty and delivered piping hot. The staff on the phone are always really friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. In my opinion it’s the best Indian in Louth.
