Please note….this is no longer in Alford, it is now in Mablethorpe on Victoria Road. It is also called Mo’s and not Nayeemas. It is really difficult to find as there isn’t really a sign outside. There is also no car park available other than a very small amount of on street parking. It’s a very strange place and doesn’t look like an Indian restaurant, it seems like they’ve not long moved from Alford as the restaurant is tiny, I’d say only caterers for 20 people maximum. They also do not have their alcohol licence yet so are unable to serve alcohol, however you are able to take your own alcohol. Soft drinks are available. Booking is advisable as it’s such a small place at the moment. The food was delicious! I had a chicken tikka masala and my partner had a chicken korma, the chicken was cooked to perfection. If you are an average size portion eater then sharing a curry, rice and naan bread between 2 is more than enough. We ordered one each of everything not realising how big the portions were! The naan breads are homemade and absolutely delicious! The restaurant also does takeaway, which can be collected or they do deliver (charges apply) The young lady who served us…I believe her name may have been Bobby. She was absolutely brilliant, she was about the only person there doing anything! She managed every table by herself and dealt with the people coming in for collections. The other people working there seem to have inappropriate conversations too close to public ears, and really like to moan about each other! But in summary, the food was fantastic and Bobby was an amazing waitress. Worth a visit.

Usually I cannot fault food however ordered delivery 2 nights ago....when the delivery arrived the bottom of our bag was covered in our curry, the paper bag it arrived in had completely split as it was so wet and curry was over other parts of our meal. I phoned immediately to complain. I asked for a refund due to the nature of my complaint which was argued by the gentleman on the phone. He eventually settled on refunding half my bill but said he couldn't do it at that point and would need to get someone to call me the next day (I was not happy with this and argued that point but had no choice but to agree in the end) I contacted the next night when no one had called me but there was no answer and I am still waiting for someone to call me back. Absolutely appalling customer service on this occasion!!!

I'm on holiday in Mablethorpe, and we fancied an Indian dinner. I looked online and found this place (note their website says they're in nearby Alford but they're now in Mablethorpe). I popped in the day before to pick up menus and check it out. I liked the friendly welcome from Joni on the front counter. We ordered quite a few dishes between 4 of us and I went to pick up. They were expecting me and knew my name, I like that. The food was excellent, every dish. My brother ordered a couple of things that I wouldn't normally, and I liked those too. All of us commented on the lovely mix of flavours. When I picked up food to take home, I noticed that their restaurant was full, that's always a good sign. They get 5 stars from me.

Very friendly welcome and good service. The food was good, above average with good portion sizes. It wasn't the best Indian I've had but would go back. Only critism is that it was really cold in there.

Called into Nayeemas table of 9 people 20/11/22. Had takeaway from here before and the food was ok nothing special but ok for a seaside takeaway. Table was available on arrival and drinks was ordered straight away by the waitress who was all very pleasant. As we sat and looked at the menu the place was really cold and all of our party as well as some of the other guests had to put are coats on that's how cold it was inside. We all ordered different things, and the food was not long coming out. What a disappointment it was, the chicken tasted awful, it was sliced like the frozen one you get from budget freezer outlets, Nan breads are really small, one in our party had steak and it was so tuff she couldn't manage to eat it. All in all, only 1 person said their meal was ok. We didn't complain as we were so cold at the end we just wanted to leave and go home. I'm all for giving new businesses a chance but the quality of the food really is poor and to have no heating in November is just not acceptable. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Pretty Average, Food nothing special, if youcould see it with the poor lighting. Decor cobbled together, basically decor gave no warmth or atmosphere. Will travel further for decent authentic Indian food. Rough, rough, rough. Sorry but not a great venue for a night out, unless you don't care.

I’ve ordered takeaway meals several times over the last couple of years and been happy to travel the extra few miles rather than use the health hazard Indian in Spilsby. The food has always been tasty and cooked well. Sadly Sunday evening was a let down, the onion bhajis were soft and mushy, the side salad for two starters came in one small plastic bag, my partner and I had to flip a coin to see who got the single slice of cucumber or quarter of tomato. The mushroom rice, which looked very different to the last time, was swimming in water when turned onto my plate and unfortunately some 2 hours after eating the meal I was quite ill.I’ll not be returning as the meal has put me off, hopefully it was a one time issue.

At the risk of incurring sarcastic comments from the owner, I intend to leave an honest review. Positives - The food is amazing and very enjoyable, and portions are plentiful - highly recommend. The senior waitress is brilliant, very helpful without being over bearing and nothing was too much trouble for her. Negatives - This may as stated below, be an older listed building, but it could be a lot cleaner. The carpet in the restaurant is filthy and we noted lots of cobwebs, also the windows badly needed cleaning. The reception is like a creche, with children laying (one asleep) on the settees with bags of crisps, drinks, pencils etc. With a very miserable looking man eating his tea in front of the computer. The woman at the desk seriously needs some customer service training. All these negatives are stated to help improve the business, but somehow having read previous comments, I doubt you will listen. If you can overlook the negative comments, then you will have a good meal,

Went to nayeemas in Alford as a family of 4 people yesterday. We booked the table as this was our 1st time here. On arrival we was shown to our table which was in the corner of the room. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We had the meal deal which consisted of any starter, any main, and a rice or naan bread. The food was so fresh and tasty. All starters were so large and freshly cooked. We then had the main meals. One had the tandoori mixed grill and it was huge. He nearly managed to eat it but fell short. I had a chicken balti which she polished off which she never does. I had the mixed pathia which wasn't what I'm used to but even so was delightful and polished off. The last person had a chichen Korma which she really enjoyed. The chips and naans were beautiful too. The service was top quality and nothing was to much trouble at all.We will most defiantly be returning.Thank you so much for a lovely meal.

Away for a break and reading the reviews about the food we decided to give it a go. On arrival and entering the building first impressions not the best. Very dated but as I have said reading the reviews thought we would still give it a go. Made our order told 30 mins wait so we sat in the bar and had a drink, again very dated and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. An hour and 10 mins later the curry was ready. On getting back and serving we found the order wrong, to far to go back and wait again though. The food itself was hit and miss but the lamb (mutton)and prawns were as tough as old boots. Would not recommend. Sorry but that is our opinion.

We ordered our meal and asked how long for delivery, they said about an hour.As if took so long, we telephoned three times for an update on delivery, and were told that it was in the kitchen, then, it would be about 15 minutes etc etc. So, one hour and fifty minutes later it arrived. The chips were stone cold, the chicken pathia was as hot as a vindaloo, and the other curry dishes were ok. Not outstanding, but average. After the very good reviews we had read, we were disappointed to say the least. Would not order again in a hurry - in fact you need to allow over two hours for delivery.

We were away with our grandson, the first time since the Covid lockdown started, when we found the Take Away facility at Nayeemas Indian Bar Restaurant. It turned out to be the tastiest take away meal we have had for a long time. Our grandson, to use his own words, 'hates curries' and will eat nothing but fried rice. Looking through their quite extensive menu, we found Nayeemas do coconut rice. As our grandson loves both rice and coconut, this seemed an ideal solution, however, we also noticed that they do a buttered chicken in a coconut rich sauce. One 10 year old sorted. My wife settled for a Chicken Tikka Masala with boiled rice and I settled with a Lamb Korai with garlic fried rice.We also shared a cheese naan and a garlic naan. The buttered chicken was very coconutty, rich and creamy and the chicken pieces were large and succulent. Our grandson tucked in with gusto, but the generous portions beat him. He was very apologetic that he was unable to finish his meal, but very proud to have eaten, and thoroughly enjoyed, his first ever curry. My wife fared a little better, but even she was beaten by the generous portions. The sauce was smooth and rich, with just the right amount of spices, and again the chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked, not even a hint of dryness here. She commented that it was one of the most tasty Indian meals she has eaten. My Korai was no different. The lamb was tender and moist, cooked to perfection in a wonderfully spicy Korai sauce. I too was beaten by the generous portion size and failed to clear my plate. I did, however, make sure that I polished off every piece of that wonderful, tasty lamb. And the price, no more than we pay at our own Indian Take Away at home. We were on a touring site almost 10 miles from Nayeemas, and used them on the recommendation of the site owner. The 18 mile round trip was, in my opinion, well worth it and I would have no hesitation in recommending this particular Indian Take Away. If you find yourself in the Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards area, give them a try, you'll not be disappointed.

This is the second time we have eaten here. The first time, a few years ago we were left pretty underwhelmed by it and didn't go back for a long time. But recently decided to try again, having been told by a few people that it was good. It's in a great location for us as we live within walking distance so no designated driver required. We weren't disappointed and were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. Good service by friendly staff. We shared a starter which came quickly and was tasty, not the best onion bhaji ever but not bad at all. When our main dishes came out they were very tasty, I even tried some of my partner's garlic chilli chicken curry which was extremely spicy hot but very flavorful. My curry was delicious and I had one of the best peshwari naans I think I've ever had. Yes the place could do with being updated but don't let the tired decor put you off. We left feeling very full and satisfied with our meal. We'll definitely be using our local Indian restaurant more frequently from now on.

We went with my daughter for a meal on a Friday night. Not knowing what to expect as not been before. There was no smell of food cooking from the outside which was surprising as everywhere else I have been you can normally smell the spices or food cooking. We entered and we asked if there was a table available as we hadn’t booked. We were shown to a table in the restaurant. It wasn’t what I expected at all. It was like sitting in my aunties living room, not at all Indian inspired. We were given menus and ordered drinks. Our order was taken and we waited. It was quite busy with a few parties in. We had a starter, onion bhaji and chicken pakora. These were very bland. The main meals came and we were a little confused, we had chicken tikka masala which was ok, then we had chicken sag and chicken karai. Couldn’t really tell the difference apart from a bit of wilted spinach on top of the sag. Looked like grass cuttings! The taste of these two was very bland no spicy taste to them at all. My daughter had egg fried rice with her meal. The egg in the rice was fried to a stage where it looked like a burnt frilly doily. All in all a bit of a disaster and I think I would have preferred an old fashioned Vesta curry! It cost me over £45! We did mention to the waiter that it wasn’t really up to a standard expected and they just smiled and said “what do you want me to do about it!”

Very bland, not at all athentic, the chicken tastes of Nothing, I had a bhuna and it tasted of nothing, other than occasionally a corriander leaf. To be honest, I've tried alot of Indian restaurants in Lincolnshire and they all seem to be using the same recipe book. All boil the chicken to death, no flavour & simply boring. I'd not recommend this place. Not sure about the pub or hotel, but the Indian side is awful.

Firstly, we did not stay at this Hotel, and cannot comment on the rooms etc, but went there for the Indian Restaurant. And in a word it was "Fantastic". I love a good Curry, and certainly this was very good indeed. My wife and I were greeted warmly on our arrival, and were shown to our table. Our orders were taken quickly and correctly, and all the staff were extremely attentive, and considerate. Even the Owner came out to us, to check that we had enjoyed our meal. A lovely experience, with nice Indian piped music in the background. The price of the whole meal was very reasonable too, no complaints at all. An efficiently run restaurant, and it does appear that all the staff work well together, as we had some friendly light banter with them. No problems with leaving a tip, and when we are back up there, we will be going back. This is a Gem of an Indian Restaurant, and the meal was as good as many of which we have had at many Indian Restaurants in Oxford, and considering Alford is a small Town, they have made great efforts. Good Value all round.

We have used Nayeemas as our preferred curry house but we are likely to travel further afield to explore other offerings after a recent visit. Inevitably the curry restaurant is empty as it seems most patrons use the facility for take away food - so the venue is viable but do not look for atmosphere as there will more than likely be no other restaurant patrons. The restaurant is part of an old pub (possibly once a coaching in) called The Windmill Hotel. Rather unusually (as far as we can work out) the hotel is run (maybe not owned) by a pleasant, polite, warm and friendly gentleman of Asian origin (I would guess Bangladeshi) but his waiting staff are, as far as we can see, all indigenous white Brits with tattoos, one having his entire arms tattooed as we recall. This is simply an observation and we point out that this is not necessarily any negative comment but if you do not like people with tattoos serving at table - this may not be the place for you. One of the tattooed waiting staff, a man, is most welcoming, friendly and efficient. The other is 'overbearing' in manner and will refer to the clientele as "guys" constantly. It seems that the regime is to frequently and to my mind very irritatingly ask if the meals are OK (to me once is too often - three times is very annoying especially when as we experienced three people variously attending at table and all repeatedly asking if the meal is OK).The restaurant menu is very extensive and it has been reprinted with much clearer text than their earlier version which was partially unreadable. One cannot complain about choice - if anything there is too much to choose from (with little in the way of explanation of the meal contents and virtually all are described as having "spice" etc. which is a fairly obvious ingredient). With every visit we make we find, especially when we are alone in the restaurant, not only does the food arrive alarmingly quickly, but there is inadvertent pressure from waiting staff to clear the preceding meal section (e.g. poppadums etc.) - in fact my last poppadum was almost snatched away from under my nose by a female waiter until I managed to convince her that I was still eating. We gained an impression that the second we'd ordered our main course it was thrust through the microwave and sitting ready awaiting us finishing our appetisers - as when the main meal arrived it was scalding hot and sizzling (but was not a 'sizzler' dish). We then had to wait a few minutes to allow the food to cool temperature-wise. Personally I dislike fast food and microwaved food too but one has to accept that most restaurants use microwaves I suppose. It is a big mistake, in my view, for restaurateurs and waiting staff to assume that everyone wants fast food but that is obviously the assumption at Nayeemas.

Brilliant food, just be aware if you don't like spicy food just let them know they will be happy to accommodate. They do English food along with the curries, English food is cooked with a spicy twist unless you specifically ask for no spice

After a long drive home and hungry but at a generally inconvenient time (9 pm on a Sunday Evening) I felt hungry. The obvious choice was Nayeema's and they certainly met the challenge. Extremely fast service (almost too fast). Food good (and as a set meal ordered) good value too.Well done and thank you.

Always come here for an end of term meal from school. The staff have always accommodated us well and looked after us. The food is fantastic and the portions are very generous, no complaints. Well worth a visit.

I am a regular customer to the restaurant and generally find it good so this is my first experience of a delivered take away and to my disappointment this overall was less impressive than our experience at the restaurant. Why?On their take away menu they state free delivery within 4 miles but I was charged £5 for being allegedly beyond 4 miles by living in Huttoft. Firstly it worries me that the man taking the order asked me to spell Huttoft which is very poor when it is so nearby. On this point of distance away my phone using the Maps app shows my home location as 3.5 miles away from Market Place Alford but Google Maps shows it as 4.3 miles away. I'm not overly miffed at whether I do or do not live over four miles away but when the menu states "a small charge" for outside area I think five pounds excessive! So... turning to the food quality: Bad: everything swimming in ghee oil including the bag, the foil containers inside & outside, the menu and all food.Food mildly warm after only a five or six minute drive.Good: food taste fairly good. Two Complimentary poppadoms. Overall, not a great experience and I doubt we'll have any more takeaways from there. Pity as I have previously been a great devotee of the restaurant.

I was one of 8 attending a celebration meal from the get go I didn't feel it was the atmosphere we wanted on the arrival the entrance was filled with drunks and what looked to be the Jeremy Kyle studio inside The restaurant is part of the pub which I can only describe as rough shouting swearing youths which some of what didn't look old enough to even be in there The service was slightly fake with the lady owner stomping around with a face on her while her husband looks like he's going to have a breakdown The waiter was polite but didn't really no his stuff and we felt rushed The food was okay but I can say I won't be recommending here any time soon maybe if they get new staff and sort the rough looking people out who congregate around the entrance will be on too a winner !

The service was second to none. The attention to detail, and the courtesy of the staff were first rate. And the food itself certainly did not disappoint. The same has to be said for the full English breakfast that we received this morning before we left, although portion wise a little more would be required for a man.

Booked into the restaurant here the new Nayeema's. How very disappointing. We had booked and when we arrived at the reception the two women behind were more interested in serving beer to a couple of blokes. Behind reception was untidy, littered with vacs and children's toys. We were ignored for a while but after announcing our arrival we were told to follow a waiter to the restaurant. He showed us to a table that wasn't even set. A huge table for 6/8 just for the two of us because the other tables were taken up by a big party. We looked at the dated, dowdy surroundings and decided to give it a miss.

My family and I ordered a just eat take-out this evening from The Spice Lounge. Delivery was slightly delayed as we live a bit of a distance away but the food arrived piping hot and oh my days was absolutely delicious. Best curry that we have eaten in a long time and well worth the money. Very highly recommended. Thank you so much 😊 Nicky, Gary and Tom

Absolutely shocking starters, when does a portion of shami Kebabs arrive within an omelette? a portion of Seekh kebab is 1 kebab split in half. Chicken tikka masala arrived as a korma. The onion bhaji (easiest thing to make) is actually the finest sliced onions I have ever seen. Really is not worth the £150 for 4 drinks, 4 starters and 4 mains. WHERE WAS THE MASK.

Recently had an order from here for the whole family and everyone enjoyed their food. One of the best curries I’ve ever had. Beautiful

Decent hotel in a good location with ample parking. Rooms clean and functional Would benefit from bath sealant being refreshed Also needs coat hooks in room, it would then be perfect
