India Village in East Lindsey

We went there with a group of friends & have to say just how lovely the food was. Started with a salmon tandoor dish followed by their king prawns cooked with ginger & coriander I am quite fussy when it comes to eating prawns, so when I asked the waiter what exactly they are like & how big they ate, he did no more than go get one to show wine! So a lovely meal, excellent service and very good atmosphere, so would def recommend this place.

Having tried and enjoyed meals in the Mediterranean and Italian restaurants in Woodhall Spa, we decided to try India Village for our evening meal. I can only say that we were very happy that a table was available as we had not booked in advance. The service was very good and the food was some of the best Indian food we have eaten. My wife had the medium Jalfrezi and I had the medium Khandhanhi Gust. We added Sag Aloo, onion Bhaji plain rice, Pilau rice and a Peshwari Naan. I would recommend booking in advance as the Restaurant became very busy over the course of the evening. The price of the meal and drinks is very reasonable compared to other eateries.

4 of us visited for the first time and were not disappointed! The food was delicious with a huge amount of flavour and the service was great! I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

went there last Saturday (13/4) with my 2 sons and a few friends as part of my 70th birthday celebrations . From minute 1 , the atmosphere was excellent as the restaurant was full . The staff were attentive and quick to serve . The food was spot on and all our group were impressed . All round an excellent experience . If you are ever in Woodhall Spa and fancy a curry then this is the place . EXCELLENT 😋😋

It was a Tuesday night and it was one of the few Indian restaurants open. Our usual in Market Rasen was closed as was our second at North Greetwell near Lincoln and the same for two in Louth. The restaurant was rewarded by being full. We had not been here for many years. The food and service was ok but nothing special - seemed lacking refinement. On the bland/very mild side of spicy. Seemed obsessed with wanting us to have poppadoms - we were asked 5 times!

Reserved a table for my family of 5, to which we were promptly seated. The overall experience was brilliant: polite and timely service, with great drinks and dishes available. Food was full of flavour and piping hot, so we know it was fresh! Lovely garlic naan too. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This used to be our favourite Indian anywhere but unfortunately during our last visit (we haven’t been for a couple of years) we found it was just average. The food was absolutely fine but not as good as it used to be and the soft drinks tasted funny. Staff also didn’t seem as friendly as during previous visits. Shame as for the amount we paid we won’t be rushing back.

Ordered a takeaway from here while visiting Woodhall Spa. Had a good selection to choose from but we went with our old favourites. Food came in the time frame they told us. Although the temperature could have been a bit hotter. Good sized portions and nice tasting food. Would order again.

Walked in to order takeaway. Greeted by a friendly face. Ordered food, waited 30mins. All lovely and hot and tastes beautiful. Would 100% visit again. Maybe to eat inside next time

Rang up last minute on a Saturday night expecting to be told they couldn't fit us in, but they did! From start to finish the service, atmosphere, food and cleanliness was spot on. We've lived down the road for 11 years and have never been here and we've certainly been missing out! Thank you so much, see you again soon.

We booked a table for my husband's birthday, despite it being Thursday night and the restaurant being only half full, they sat us on a little table next to the hot towel fridge. Needless to say no birthday photo's taken with the fridge in the background. We ordered poppadoms which were OK but overpriced. The tika masala was nice, but the bhuna was much hotter than it should be and the garlic naan was awful really tough with no garlic on, appeared to have been reheated. We finished our meal and were still drinking our bottle of wine when the bill was brought over, we hadn't even asked for it. Within a few minutes someone arrived with the card machine and said are you leaving a tip. I had heard good things about this restaurant but certainly won't be returning.

The food was delicious, dishes we had not seen before made a real change. The staff were friendly and efficient.

A Saturday night, after a round of golf, couple of pints we turned up early, very hungry and it was no problem, we went straight to our table. Staff were very helpful, in a very busy restaurant but our order was soon taken, drinks delivered and then the food, which I can only say was some of the best tasting Indian food I’ve had. Our trip to Woodhall Spa was 3 nights and on the last night we returned, and had the experience all over again, which did not disappoint…

Me and my husband arrived 5 mins early our table wasn’t ready as we had booked for 7.15pm table was crammed in and wobbly! The kingfisher lager was on draught my husband ordered a pint which was flat! I had a vodka and coke coke was flat which I then noticed they had large bottles! We ordered our food my husband had tikka masala which he said was creamy bland no flavour and some of the chicken crispy round the edges I had a special I asked if they would possibly spice it up a bit which they replied we don’t do that! Very poor meal no atmosphere at all! This restaurant has gone down hill we have used it before but gone down hill! What a shame won’t be going back

Amazing! The food was fantastic and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Fresh naans, nice rice and beautifully cooked chicken main dishes, the Indian Village food was the best Indian food we have had for a long time. This is the second time we have ordered a takeaway from the indian village and its the second time it has been rubbish. Ordered a chicken pathia and chicken madras and no difference in taste. Both way too hot chicken was cut imto.massive chunks and chewy so this is off putting. Rice under cooked it was hard to bite. They dont care what they serve just get it out and get them gone. Only interested in restautant customers. Will not return and dont expect a response just like last time.
