I decided to treat my wife to an Indian meal much to my regret. We was attending a nearby seminar and was looking forward to a Saturday night dinner after day one of the seminar. Following dinner we returned to our overnight stay where I started to feel really ill! I had a fish starter and mains which made me so ill ill never forget the following day attending the seminar which I had to abandon at a great loss of money. I was so ill I couldn’t drive home at the cost of an extra overnight stay as my wife cannot drive. I then had to take time of work so all in all it turned out a very expensive meal. The service was extremely slow which made the whole thing a very tiring experience. Beware of any fish on the menu.

I visited Ali’s to get myself a takeaway and as always the food was amazing. I’ve never had a lamb or chicken samosa like what this place serves. I had one of their recommended dishes from the menu and although the dish I had was a spicy one, you forget the spice because of all the incredible flavours going on in the dish. Service was fantastic while I chose and waited and in particular very friendly and welcoming Raj. By far my favourite Indian restaurant

Service was good and the pickle tray ok. Alas the rogan Josh was very disappointing and bland. I’ve had better Indian meals from my local supermarket. The waiter/chef asked us how our meal was and we was bluntly honest and told him it was very poor for an Indian meal and not at all spicy. I’ve experienced this at another Indian restaurant in Bridlington. It seems they tone it down to appeal to diners who don’t like spicy food. When I say spicy I don’t mean hot I mean you can’t really taste the Indian spices that usually make an Indian meal a special treat. He did knock me the price of two drinks off but our dining experience was spoilt as we had been looking foreward to it. And it still cost me £44. Doubt I’ll be back unless I hear good things about it in the future. I have dined here before with no issues so they must have changed the chef or cut down on the quality of the food.

We went in 2023. It was our wedding anniversary in July. My husband booked with the previous owners. But unfortunately For us the restaurant changed hands in between. However the new owners went above and beyond to actually open the restaurant for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. How cool is that, they went above and beyond to honour their commitment. Food was fabulous and we had a great time. Thank you

Lovely restaurant with well spaced out tables. Very friendly staff. Food extremely good. I had garlic chilli chicken and a cheese and onion nan. Wife had veg biryani. Asked for extra chillies on the side. This is a BYOB restaurant there is a NISA next door with wine and beer in the chiller. I believe the shop closes at 9pm

Been many times and always great food and service. What has happened, service poor, we had to ask to be served drinks, food bland and small portion's, salad consisted of cabbage one piece of tomato and one piece of cucumber. Most of the mains do not come with rice or chips now they are separate. When we came in we were greeted by cash only no card as internet down no phone lines, but the phone rang a few times, no little tipple after your meal to.
