Excellent selection on menu. Good food and prompt service. A local jewel and now our regular go to restaurant. If they don't have what you want just ask.

As usual excellent service. Generous portions, attentive host and good value for money. The food served with hot plates.

A fabulous family meal on a busy Tuesday evening. Lovely atmosphere and great service. All five of us ordered different dishes and they were all extremely tasty and delicious. Couldn't fault a single thing. Thank you Spice Touch.

We hadn’t booked but the staff found space for us at short notice, we were able to order quickly & the quality of our food was excellent. When the bill came it was even more pleasing as we considered it to be good value for money which can be a rare thing these days. We would certainly go back for more.

Had a fabulous meal as usual ,never lets you down . Been going 9 years now . Had chicken tikka garlic special was gorgeous . Tried best part of their menu over the years .. great portion sizes , Value for money . You Highly recommend .

Very warm welcome although our first time visiting restaurant. Cobra beers arrived early followed by popadoms n pickle tray. No hurry to choose main course but could go off menu with personal selection. Vegetable balti was excellent n chicken n lamb dish well received. Overall very very good n will definitely revisit again soon.

We truly cannot praise Ali and his team enough. The customer care is amazing & absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The food is absolutely delicious & the atmosphere in here is wonderful. Million percent recommend this place 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Julie & Carl

Close your eyes, and you could be in Jaipur. I am flying solo atm. I take myself out to dinner because I can. A long stretch at the office. I was hungry and I hadn't been here. Foolishly. Living close by I realised it was rude not to. I took the lovely chaps recommendation on the fish dish. WOW, just WOW. Exceptional service. Lovely surroundings. Can't believe it's in Swadlincote and I am moving in a month. Silly me. Please support this business. It's a true taste of India. The music is wonderful. It's been a great Monday evening interlude. Did I say the food was mindblowingly tasty and the music authentic and joyful?

I was impressed with the amount of vegetables in my basmati rice, Aloo Gobi and chickpea dishes were lovely. They were very busy when we arrived as it's a popular place but they were efficient and helpful. My first visit but I'll go again.

Went tonight to celebrate my sons birthday, there was 20 of us so was a little worried how they would cope but they were fantastic, food was out fast and not one of us had a bad word to say about the food. It was lovely. They let us take our own cake in and also let us eat it there. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Will definitely go again.

first time eating here, and definitely wont be the last. really flavoursome and fresh . good quality ingredients and ample size portions. in fact one of the best meals we,ve had in a long time. table for four, service was excellent , polite and efficient. thankyou for a great meal.

We’ve been here a few times and every time, I’ve never been particularly impressed with the food from this restaurant. I find that the food is very bland, with un-marinated chicken and the madras is not even hot. Well below standard compared to alternative restaurants and takeaways in Burton.

Having lived in the area for 7 years and been here many many times I'm saddened to report this place has gone massively downhill to near extinction. Firstly, I must say I've never had a bad meal here, and Ali has always been a true gent! But....the place is dirty!!!! stains on walls and cobwebs. The place obviously hasn't has a proper clean for months!. Service was also not upto usual previous standards with food literally thrown on the table. Morale at an all time low. Sorry will not be returning any time soon.....maybe a reflection of a recent 1* rating for hygiene.

We’ve had a few takeaways which have always been really good and finally made a last minute booking for a Friday night at the restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely go again.

Been going to spice touch since we moved to the Area 4 years ago and have never been disappointed,if anything the weeends are really busy and if you haven’t booked you may have a wait but it’s well worth it .The dishes are all good and a plenty with spices that tingle your tong and taste delicious 😋 the lamb or chicken Jalfrezi or vindaloo are my favourite dish with fresh mushroom and garlic pilau rice .the drinks are reasonably priced too . Ali and Russ the 2 main waiters are great and alwamake sure your seated and get a drink while you wait for your meal to arrive.

We had a takeaway delivered to our holiday lodge tonight and I must say it was very tasty. The chicken Naga was really good! If you like a spicy curry then it’s highly recommended. We also asked for a recommended curry as we like spicy food and what we were given was delicious! So glad we asked for the recommendation. Everything else was good (Bombay,pilau, chicken tikka), the only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the garlic naan. It had been wrapped in foil to keep it warm but it had sweated and was just a soggy bread by the time we got it. The food was delivered quicker than they said and was red hot. Free popadoms and chutney/salad was a good touch. Thank you

We went here as a table of 8 in October 2021 to celebrate my partner's 50th Birthday. Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the restaurant was very busy and popular. The service was great, timing spot on and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The food was of very good quality and the portions were huge. (I had a biryiani and brought half home for the next day as couldn't manage it all) Would recommend and will certainly be back.

We were staying locally in an air bnb this place was rated so we went along and placed an order for delivery later. The meal came on time and was delicious the portions were large and very filling would definatly recomend

Third takeaway from here and another superb meal. Delivered pretty much on time and still hot. Lamb naga is brilliant, just right for heat. Sharia Jaipur went down very well with my wife. Not a bad word to say about this. Really lovely meal 👍

Been to this restaurant many times since moving to the area and have been to many curry restaurants too ,this is one of the best I have come across .The meals are alway nice and tasty especially the chicken jalfrezi the chefs will do it to your liking .family run business and it does get busy and expect to wait a while but it’s worth it and the prices are reasonable for Drinks too

We eat here at least once a week, its one of our favouite Indian restaurants. We usually have poppadoms and pickles to start including Lime and chilli pickle, which are wonderful.Last night I had salmon tikka and king prawn tikka shaslik which was divine, I ate it with chappattis. My husband had a tandoori mixed grill, chicken off the bone served with sald and a nann bread. He orders a curry sauce on the side to accompany his meal. 10 out of 10 again. Great food and friendly staff.

The welcome is extremely good and the staff are very friendly. The draft Cobra is excellent and the restaurant is very reasonably priced. The food is great and the staff are only too pleased to accommodate any requests for alterations or additional items added to a dish for example I asked for Salmon Tikka Shashlic. Which isn’t on the menu but no trouble to them at all . The poppadom and pickles are great

The first time ordering from Spice Touch . Me and my Mrs ordered a takeaway from Spice touch the quality was amazing. The young gentlemen over the phone was very polite and helped us. We had a Chicken tikka Naga .. Chicken tikka shashlick food was stunning . Would definitely recommend, delivery fast a GREAT place . We shall be visiting very soon !

Awful this was replacement meal!!! 2 hours delivery messed my partner round and round when i rang delivered in 5 min as you can see not edible

This is a fabulous restaurant Ali and his team of staff cannot do enough to please you and meet your individual needs. The Cobra draft lager is excellent the service outstanding and staff very friendly efficient and effective. The food is wonderful I like Chicken tikka and mushroom Chana Dhal is great also chapatti and rice . We eat here on a regular basis it’s one of the nest Indian restaurants around

Consistently wonderful food. We visit every 6 weeks and enjoy every mouthful. Particularly good is the Sag Paneer and Lamb Sag Bahar. This is another restaurant that is always busy yet welcoming.

Went here to celebrate 2 January birthdays in the family there was 12 of us we booked the table for 6pm because of young children in the party

Ordered a take away at 7pm still waiting at 9 pm ?phone constantly engaged so couldn't get any answer as to what happened .won't be using them again first and last time ,very disappointing!

Visit this place a few times a year. The food and staff are always fantastic and the restaurant has a genuine and relaxing vibe. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We were seated right away and things looked promising - it’s a nice place if a little cosy. The positives pretty much end there... we were seated for half an hour before our food orders were even taken (this was after asking THREE TIMES to place our order and being told “give me a minute” by our waiter).

Regular customers and together with friends visited midweek. Attentive service from Ali who once again suggested various options as we wanted to try something different, including adding pineapple , a favourite of the wife, to a mixed grill. An excellent choice.

Having heard recommendations for this place we were really disappointed. Lousy service from grumpy staff. 75 minute wait for food. We even had to wait 15 minutes after being seated to be offered drinks and poppadoms. Ok it was Friday night but there were clearly not enough staff and the place was heaving with folks from the nearby estate. Food was average, price surprisingly high and not offered anything in recompense for the wait despite pointing it out. We return to the nearby New Swad for better curry, the friendliest staff and fast service.

order from here first time im long time i had to phone 3 times as it took 2 hours to arrive popperdoms came in in piece dips was half of pots not even full and curry was stone cold no taste at all.nan bread was also stone cold and bland wont be using again waste of 21 quid

A very good restaurant with great ambience and friendly service good atmosphere. The staff are very efficient and extremely professional. We have never had a bad meal here I like Chicken tikka main course served with salad good if your trying to watch your weight I have mine served with chapati .The tandoori mixed grill is fabulous as well. Great Cobra or Mongoose beer also

Had the worst experience I have ever had with food tonight after ordering a takeaway from Spice Touch. We have had quite a few takeaways from here that have been amazing so as a treat we decided to have one tonight! Our food was delivered and as I started getting everything out onto the table I realised our chips and 2 chapatis were all missing! So my boyfriend rang Spice Touch and explained politely to the man to be told we will have to come and collect it if we want it them! Boyfriend explained that we had both had a drink so cannot drive and the man said well if you can’t collect then we will just have to sort it next time!! The man didn’t even offer to refund the missing items! We were too hungry to put up a fight so we shut up and carried on with our HALF a meal. We got our dips out which were in half open tubs that looked like they’d been previously used. Our poppadoms were stale and my BF then discovered a squashed dead fly stuck to it (picture attached) so we put them in the bin. Then we were left with just curry and rice... I ended up heaving after a few bites as the chicken was awful. Me and my bf then decided that was enough. I said I feel like I’ve got chemicals in my mouth and he said he feels like someone has sprayed air freshener in his mouth. Don’t know what was in our food but it didn’t taste right at all.

We usually go to sit in and have a meal, but decided this time to have it delivered. The food was excellent, price very reasonable and the food arrived bang on the estimate given and was lovely and warm. Really can't fault this place. Would highlyrecommend.

We love visiting Ali & co, there's always a warm welcome and the food is second to none. Red chilli chicken is my favourite, my daughter loves the Shahi Jaipur. The food is always cooked fresh and they will customise dishes to your tastes too. The quality of service is fantastic, you are made to feel like royalty. The takeaway is also great if you can't get off the sofa. The food and service here is superb, do your taste buds a favour and get booked in!

Been here a couple of times (I'm an Anoki fan) and always had good food and the lads in there are keen to please with their service. Portion sizes were smallish but with my stomach being on the big side I maybe just a pig!

Visited as a party of 7 for a birthday meal for my daughter in law. The food came out quickly, was lovely and hot and the portion size was good. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

This is the fourth time a group of us have dined at Spice Touch and we can all honestly say we have always had delicious meals every time. We seem to be working our way through the menu. Even when we have all ordered very different meals, the food comes out of the kitchen together, hot, well presented, delicious, tasty, aromatic, wonderful. A comfortable restaurant, reasonably priced, with take out available. We have always found the staff to be friendly, attentive and very helpful when asked about advice and recommendations about dishes. Can't wait for the next time. Thank you.

We live close to this restaurant and can walk there; having visited on numerous occasions we cannot fault it; the decor is fabulous, food is wonderful and we've never had a bad dish; they all taste different (as they are not made using one base sauce) and service by the staff is polite, courteous and you aren't kept waiting long for your meal.

Best Indian , foods great, plenty to eat. Definitely high standard of food. Been going a year at least few times a month. Not had one compliant . Husbands favourite too, service good . Mostly buy take away. But sitting in is nice and relaxed . Definitely value for money.

Visited this restaurant on several occasions always good service and the food is exceptional.The different types of curry are very individual both in taste and consistency unlike many other restaurants.The food is always hot and tasty and they will always amend the ingredients to suit individual tastes.Ali and his team look after you very well remembering you preference for drinks and food A very pleasant experience well recommended

Very attentive staff nothink to much trouble, I order a chicken dish no peppers med hot, it's wasn't my med hot so asked the waiter if he could spice it up a bit, he said no problem when he came back with it it was perfect. Shall definitely be going back

Went there one evening and the service was impeccable very fast and friendly.No issues with the food what so ever . tasted fantastic and everything was served nice and warm. I would recommend the food to anyone in the area.I have had the occasional delivery from the restaurant as well again no complaints was fast service and warm.The only minor con is that the premises if your eating in is very small so you can easily overhear other people. However the premises is very clean and has great parking outside.

We've visited on lots of occasions and always receive great service. The food is lovely, well cooked and very tasty. Have tried a variety of dishes and also had the same ones more than once and they have never varied. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's only a small restaurant and does get busy even in the week so I'd always recommend booking. Highly recommend.

Went this evening for an early dinner. We were given a warm welcome, the staff are friendly and very efficient. The poppadum's and pickles were very good especially washed down with the draught Cobra which was lovely.I had Jinga Shaslk tandoori grilled king prawns served with char grilled peppers, onions and tomato it was excellent served with salad and mint sauce, I had it accompanied by chapatti's. My husband had chicken tikka Koria which he thoroughly enjoyed with a chilli nan bread. We will certainly go back first time we have eaten here and would highly recommend it

Due to its location I was concerned when it opened if this would survive, but not only has it survived but it has flourished! Have eaten here a number of times and the food just seems to get better. Any disk can be prepared for you to a spice level / heat that you like, and the range is excellent (also includes some western style food for those in the group that don't like Indian). Personally I think that the nan breads are a little on the small side and the poppodoms that you eat whilst waiting for your starter should be free or at least given a decent quantity for the amount you pay for them. The atmosphere is very comfortable although, with this being a takeaway also, the constant footfall through the door means you don't want a table near the entrance during winter.....bbbbrrrrrrr. Prices are good and drinks are not stupidly overpriced. Car park outside means loads of room for parking. Recommended as well worth a visit.

1st time visit and food and service were what you would expect. There is set menu for 2 people for £21.95 which includes 2 starters, 2 main dishes and a side along with rice and a naan. Tray of poppadoms and dips were extra and a couple of drinks were about £5. Friendly service, if I was to be too critical I would say that the gap between the meals was too short, literally as soon as one had finished another was on the table. Will attend again and recommend this for locals or when in the area.

We go to this curry house regularly. Always excellent food and service and they always manage to squeeze us in when we don't book. We go there a bit too often sometimes as it is beautiful food.

We have been back to this restaurant a few times this year and every time we have had a delicious meal. The staff are friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you.

Used spice touch a number of times for Take Aways. Decided to have one as a last minute thing. After making our order we were told there was a 40 minute delivery time, which is standard. That time came and went. After 1 hour I gave them a call, well actually 8 calls as the phone wasn't being answered. After finally getting through I was told it was on the way. 45 minutes later it arrived COLD. We started to eat, our Chicken Pakora wasn't cooked. My Girlfriends Chicken Tikka Masala curry was also under cooked and had to be thrown away. Won't be using this curry house again in a hurry.

I went to the Spice touch restaurant to pick up a takeaway order. Upon entry i was politely greeted by an employee at the door and was shown to the till. The actual sitting area of the restaurant, although relatively small was very neat and contemporary and would be a nice place to have a quiet meal out. My food was brought out to me immediately and the door was held open for me on the way out. The food itself was absolutely faultless, easily the best takeaway curry ive eaten. A complimentary selection of salad, sauces and a popadum were also included. Will definately be recommending Spice Touch to family and friends.

This is a great little take away the food is good and the helping are good and not to badly priced it's a good menu with plenty of choice but the delivery is normally a bit slow but all in all its pretty good

Although this restaurant is on a housing estate, it is never short of customers! The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is buzzing.I am personally working my way through the menu, and have never had a bad meal. My husband and son tend to stick to their favourites of kurma or Malaya as milder options, and we have even taken friends/family in for meals who are vegetarians and the staff have been very accommodating serving a dish which wasn't on the menu.Last Christmas Day we had dinner there, and they excelled themselves with the quality of the meal, and there was such a good atmosphere.Highly recommended.
