The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Has closed down - rather suddenly - as of Monday 18th March 2024. Former customers were informed by SMS. Apparently it is being replaced with an Afghani restaurant. Hopefully helpful information for someone.

Bustling. Fantastic food. Amazing service. Drinks refilled before even had to ask. Back again next week!

Ordereded a take away through user and when arrived all food was out of containers and the driver couldn't be arsed,when rang to complain staff weren't bothered and said not there problem. Wouldn't use again.

The kebab munch boxes are 🔥🔥🔥 Lovely set meals also

We were staying nearby at the Oatlands park hotel and walked to this curry house on our second night. It was early evening in a Sunday so there was only one other table occupied so it did lack a bit of atmosphere. But the restaurant was nicely furnished, modern and very spacious. The staff were friendly but didn’t speak much English. The menu is a bit more limited than a normal curry house but there was plenty to choose from. We were pleased with the lamb curry and Chicken tikka. Nice portion sizes and the peshwari nan was gorgeous. Average price.

They have gone out of business. D9nt order as you won't get it. Scammers

Chiken kebab meat prepared on the frying pan reheated in microwave. This place is a not funny joke.

Absolutely terrible really bad food curry had3 peices of chicken in whole chicken tikka ! Very bad watered down food !

First time having a takeaway and it didn't disappoint. The food was very tasty and flavoursome and I didn't have to wait long for my order. I will definitely be coming back.

We had heard raving reviews about 1580 and decided to visit. I would highly recommend this place. The food is authentically prepared and tastes divine! The service is superb too. The mo mos are delicious. The vegan menu is expansive and there is plenty of choice according to dietary requirements. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is now closed and has been taken over by the international Morley street Bradford. It will re open in around 6 weeks. No signs up to say it’s closed thou !!!

The worst Biryani i have ever had, just rice, a hard boiled egg and thin strips of chicken tikka - where was the veg to call this a special biryani and charge me extra for it, was, audacious and untrue. The last 3 curries ordered from this establishment were poor and certainly lacking in substance and flavour - very low standards. Sack the cook and employ one who has knowledge of authentic indian cooking

YET ON COMPLETION OF ORDER ALL EXTRAS DISAPPEAR AND PRICE IS JUST FOR MINISCULE CURRY PORTION. I LEFT AND ATE ELSEWHERE FOR THE SAME PRICE - NOTHING SPECIAL. NEEDLESS TO SAY I SHALL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE ALL OTHERS TO STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS. TOTAL RIP OFF. NO STARS.
