I've been ordering from this place for years now. Occasionally I try elsewhere when eating at friends houses locally, and it's no where near as good. The food is always delivered hot. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes delicious. Way better value than most other options as well. Order from their own website. I was surprised to see their rating slip slightly. It makes me think it's the competition playing games. By far the best place in town. I think once you try you will never leave them. They've never let me down ever. Fantastic every single time.

Great and varied menu, we haven’t eaten in here since it used to be the “Inner Fire” but a total refit and the place is completely freshened up…bright, clean very welcoming. Plenty to choose from on the menu, fair pricing and healthy portions when it’s placed in front of you, give it a try and support local businesses, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely love the food at King of Spice. We usually order to collect but decided to get it delivered this time. The food arrived on time, piping hot, just as delicious as when we collect. Portion sizes are good, lots to choose from and when you go inside the staff are great. Highly recommend, best curries in the area.

Delivery driver was polite but the food was relatively tasteless. There was sweetcorn in my balti sauce and a clear lack of fresh spices and Ingredients used. The lamb in my biriyani was tough and chewy. I don't think I'd order from here again, didn't really enjoy the food as it was bland.

Chicken tikka Pathia. Not impressed when I ordered in person an hour prior to collection and they had no knowledge of my order so they rushed it through. When I got home the food was spicy hot but lacking in any Indian flavours. It resembled spicy rice and tomatoes. i had to throw it back in a pan and recook it with the flavours it should have had. Still became pet food the next day.

Picked up a takeaway from Spece Village Whiston and was very disappointed. Had lamb Rogan Josh which had only a small amount of meat and now has a sauce with red food colouring and no visible sign of a Tomato. Looking at the cost it was poor value and the starter I always order was missing the salad portion. I will be trying somewhere new to get my Indian from now on.
