I’ve just eaten a takeaway from Spice Village and it was amazing! I had the Spice Village Special Chicken, which comes with Pilau rice, and a garlic naan. Big portions and the best Indian food I’ve had for a long time! Highly recommend 😀

What an amazing Indian restaurant, I was there last night with my wife, we were travelling from Manchester. I’d reserved a table No-1 they gave me. I loved the ambiance of that area. Having tried authentic foods in India, food abroad didn’t make me happy except for this one restaurant, what an amazing food, naans were just perfect. Loved it. And the staff were very polite and friendly. Special thanks to the person who served us last night and the manager was friendly.

Not impressed, sagg panir had a frozen taste so that got wasted. Vegetable biriany wasn't great either. Definitely won't be ordering agian. Onino Bhajee though we're a 10/10 really tasty, just ashame about the rest. Prices are reasonable well not until tasted it.

Very tasty food. Was recommended to us as the best Indian restaurant... the 5 of us were very enthusiastic and would be happy to recommend the restaurant. We'll definitely be back next year!

Unfortunately, our recent visit to Spice Village Indian restaurant was quite disappointing. We, along with several other patrons, experienced unacceptable delays in service. We waited over 30 minutes just for poppadoms and a full hour for our main courses. This would have been more understandable if the restaurant was busy, but it was not. Instead, we saw numerous delivery orders leaving the kitchen while none of the dining tables were served. When our food finally arrived, both the lamb dish and the vegetable masala were weak in flavor and quite watery. Typically, we would have provided constructive feedback on the spot, but we were already too frustrated by the wait. The only efficient part of our visit was the arrival of the bill, which came within a minute of asking. This was the first time I haven't tipped for service. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. My advice would be to focus equally on customers who have made the effort to come and dine in and support your business and not just telephone or internet based ordering.

Five of us visited again this evening including our two Grandchildren. Alfie, our 9 year old, loved his first proper curry which was a chicken tikka masala as well as a share of a chicken biryani! Toby, our 5 year old, opted for chicken nuggets and chips and some plain rice. Our three adults had really nice meals including a really nice Lamb Dhansak. Great evening, really attentive staff. Came to this lovely spot after a trek down 7 sisters cliffs. Nice, clean and tidy restaurant in the centre of Seaford. The food was absolutely fresh and totally delicious. The mix grill and lamb biriyani was some of the best I’ve had. Lovely owner and waiters. Will most definitely be returning on my return. All their foods are halal which was great.

I would say big yes to this one, we had really great experience yesterday. Super Food quality and good atmosphere with affordable prices specially their service was quality full.

Had a take away tonight. Food was wonderfully tasty. Highly recommended. Collected myself and paid cash and got 20% off the cost. Busy night for them yet food was ready really quickly and staff friendly, especially the owner.

Very disappointed with our take away tonight. Have eaten in the restaurant here and had several takeaways before but this was not up to the usual standard. My husband had lamb tikka madras and although it was ok it was not as nice as before. My chicken tikka masala was not nice at all, the colour and taste were wrong and it was lukewarm despite being collected on time. Poppadums were also very greasy and 2 were stuck together.

Ordered online and was told delivery would be 55 minutes which was expected on a Saturday night. Food finally arrived after one phone call and 1hr 45 minutes later. Food was quite average and not very hot. Very disappointing. Shan’t bother again.

Tasty food and excellent service. The experience of steaming mixed grill plate coming to the table was amazing!

Tikka Masala very watery, had to tip a load of excess water down the sink that had separated from the sauce. Turned up well packaged, slightly earlier than estimated and everything correct. Just didn't feel worth the £30 we paid for the food...

Ordered food and portions are small for the price. Poppadoms from a packet not fresh. Sweet tasting not good

Really impressed by this place and definitely a cut above your average provincial curry house. The food was excellent with plenty of interesting options beyond the classics (which were all also present) and I thought the prices were very reasonable too. Staff were friendly and the little booths with flowers in each corner were great for getting a bit of intimacy. Will definitely be back

I ordered takeaway so I cannot really speak about atmosphere but it seemed to be a comfortable environment. The staff were kind and helpful. And the food was excellent.

First time was great & the second time was even better! Fresh, authentic and good food at reasonable price. Great service. Relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Decor traditional but really clean. Lovely little gem. We will be going back! Keith & Diane

Lovely meal here on a Sunday night although we were the only guests at approx 2030 good service reasonably priced.

Best curry in the area and run by a very nice man

A lovely restaurant with great tasting food. We met the owner lady who was so kind and friendly to us and our children.

We all mainly go for the food, right? If that is also how you feel, this restaurant has great cuisine & chef. Food is top drawer. The secret is out.

Niets op aan te merken. Superlekker eten, niet te duur. Beetje speciaal, exotisch maar gezellig interieur. Maar vooral een ongelooflijk vriendelijke bediening!!! Wat een aangename, fijne, behulpzame mensen!

There were four of us, and for two of us, it was a first - time visit.

Ordered last night, waited 2 hours for my delivery. Rung up twice and they said will be 15 minutes, an hour later i recieved it. Chicken dhansak was dry. Papadoms were soggy. Won't be ordering again!

Chicken tikka was vindaloo strength not at all as it should be. When querying was told it’s the paste they coat it with. So guess it’s not prepared on the premises Rest of dishes passable but certainly had much better

We enjoyed a lovely evening and meal at spice village. The food was amazing and the staff couldn't be more attentive. Definitely recommend a visit and we will be back again soon!

This was our first visit to Spice Village, four of us went Saturday Evening. Tariq, his wife and the team gave us great service in a nice friendly environment. The food quality was excellent and we were really impressed with the variety of meals we had. Pricing was very reasonable and we will definitely be going again very soon. Thanks to the team there

First time I have been here to eat and It definitely won’t be the last time :) food was delicious, my 14year old absolutely loved his chicken tikka masala, I ordered tandoori mixed grill was delicious, felt bad I couldn’t eat it all they even offered to box it up to take away :) staff was friendly the wait time was a bit long but they was busy, Definitely Recommended 😊

Have eaten in and had takeaway from Spice Village over the past few months. Everything about here is awesome, food, atmosphere, service, all top notch. As a somewhat self styled ‘curry connoisseur’ I’ve eaten at British Indian Restaurants up, down and across the UK and this is most certainly up there as a firm favourite. The food is cooked to perfection, full of different flavours. Most recently, I ordered a butter chicken, dhansak, madras and vindaloo all of which had unique and distinctive flavour profiles which indicates the food is crafted with skill by passionate chefs. I’m not a local to Seaford but certainly don’t pass up the opportunity to eat an awesome curry whenever i’m passing by the South Coast. If you’re looking for a top draw curry, you cant go wrong by visiting Spice Village

The food was really delicious! Service was really great. The prices are unbeatable. The music playing was from my grandparents' time, and that made dining there a very nostalgic experience for me :) Solid place for delicious Indian food.

Food was amazing! Finally some authentic Indian food! Daal tarka was just like my time in india: simple and not salty while being tasty! This place is a gem 💎, best Indian food during my stay in the UK.

We are always a little suspicious when a restaurant only has good reviews but I am pleased to confirm that Spice Village deserves a 5 star rating. The food was delicious, the portion size more than generous and much better value than other indian restaurants in the town. The service was exceptional and the restaurant a beautiful fusion of contemporary and traditional. Highly recommend.

Tried Spice Village for the first time Saturday night. Had a take away, collected from Spice Village, it was about 6pm, the restaurant had people in already and seemed like a relaxed atmosphere. Greeted by Tariq, whom was very attentive and friendly. Didn't have to wait long for our take away. Got the food home and was looked lovely and hot. The Chicken shashlik had a great flavour obviously fresh herbs used nice little kick to it aswell. The salad and dip was fresh. Chicken Korma and pilau rice was so light and not greasy. Nann bread was the best we've tasted. Portion size was plentiful. Great value for money. Will definitely be using this as our Indian takeaway in the future. Well done Spice Village.

Absolutely amazing. About time Seaford had an authentic Indian restaurant instead of the usual culprits stealing a living. Give it a try, I promise you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had a wonderful meal last night food and staff were amazing

Highly nuanced menu with wide variety of dishes from multiple regions of India. Everything we tried over two dinners within one week was delicious and each dish had unique flavors distinguishing it from every other dish. Great menu options for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and most everything (except for the nan) also gluten free which suited our extended family’s preferences beautifully. Highly recommend!

Second time we’ve eaten here and it has been fantastic both times. Lovely food and great portion sizes.

This restaurant, which has very recently been taken over by a new owner, is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Britain. The quality of the food and the service was excellent on both the occasions we went, and the plates were hot. The prices were much the same as anywhere else; what you would expect. They have a private room behind the window which we were able to use as there were firstly eleven, then eight of us. Note that in June 2023 the menu on the website was not the one in the restaurant, presumably because they haven't had time to update it yet. There are now a number of unusual house special dishes on it. If they can maintain this quality they should be very successful.

Excellent food and service, one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to! Full varied menu - we came with a large family and shared many dishes, some of them vegetarian - each was unique and very tasty. We were only in Seaford for a week, but loved the food so much we ate here twice. Friendly helpful staff, child-friendly. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff. The food is okay, my husband's curry was very interesting, but my tandoori grill wasn't really what I expected, it wasn't bad but just very different from other tandoori grills.

Just had yet another great curry from here! Would 100% recommend. Best Indian in town

Had a take a way a few times now and each time the food has been very tasty....hot and delivered on time.....this is our fav now and we also look forward to dine in...the Onion Bhajis are so yummie.

All I can say is " Wow!!!", by far the best curry we've had in a very long time, everything was absolutely superb, also delivery on time by a lovely friendly driver, & still hot, very freshly cooked. A beautiful Saturday evening treat at great value too. See you next Saturday for sure.

Reception was good considering not been open long it is obviously a not finished decor wise if it is its a bit shabby food was reasonable some portions chutney ect very small overall would try once Moore there are better resteraunts of type in town

Ordered online via very easy to use website and arranged to pay upon collection. Very pleased with the service provided upon collection and food was handed to me within reasonable time from the estimated collection time stated when ordering. Food was superb. Ordered 4 main courses and various sides. All dishes were very well cooked - didn't feel "short changed" with the main ingredients (chicken or veg) as with other takeaways I have ordered in the past from other establishments. The flavours were full and the sauces thick. All in all...a very nice takeaway and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, well cooked and flavoursome takeaway.
