Ordered a Sag Paneer but there was no paneer in the dish. I phoned them and told them and they said that’s because it’s made with cheddar cheese! If I want Indian Sag Paneer, I have to specifically request it. Not sure I’ve ever had that before with an Indian, but certainly won’t be eating here again.

Out of the 3 Indians near by this is far the best food..... so fresh and so flavoursome

Order was suppose to arrive by 20:10. Then Uber eats updated it to between 20:10 and 20:30. At 20:35 I contacted Uber and was told the order was cancelled. I then called the restaurant and was told to place the order again because a new staff member cancelled my order. Absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be ordering from this place again.

Ordered a takeaway. Best Dhansak I’ve ever tasted, amazing Passanda with proper Lamb tender as u like. Lovely Mushroom rice and Pilau. Plus chutney and yoghurt, naan and two popadums and all for 30 pounds. Delish! You are certainly giving your competitors in HIghams Park a run for their money! Thank you

This place is a conundrum… the food is excellent but the service is abysmal. The front of office staff are so rude. They make you feel as if you’re burdening them by coming to their restaurant. There is no smile, just glum angry faces when the food order is taken and when it’s served. Honestly the staff are so unprofessional. The food on the other hand is an absolute delight, very tasty and enjoyable. I recommend their food but honestly have a take away and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home.

Ordered online and was meant to get a 15% discount for order's over £20 which it clearly states on the website so phoned the restaurant where the man who answered was extremely rude and told me it was my problem and they Don't do discount,we told him to cancel the order as we were paying cash on delivery but the order still turned up so he wasted the food and everybody's time,poor service from an extremely rude man

Ordered a takeaway got delivered very nice food, family returned from shopping ordered some more food payed previous on a card no worries, ordered again different person answered very very rude said to busy to pay over the phone, I’ve spent hundreds on takeaways over the last few years and recommended people to go there never again. He always wants cash, very unprofessional

0 stars. Absolute joke. Disgraceful customer service. Rude. Hung up on me. Two hours later haven't received my food. When called restaurant they told me it’s not their problem and I should call Uber. I said in the end let me place my order through you guys. He said no I’m closed. At 20:55 when the restaurant closes at 23:00pm he said he’s closed he’s ran out of food. Never experienced such foolery in my life. Glad I didnt spend my money here in the end.

Most of the food was delicious, the waiter was very attentive, the restaurant is beautiful, the ramp to the toilet is quite steep even in small heels. There are no alcohol free options in wine/beers which I feel is a shame, the choices are water or soft drinks. The prices are very reasonable and they have a dessert menu.

Long time customer, will now be looking elsewhere for my curry. Tonight is my birthday, thought we'd have a cheeky takeaway. We ordered a sag ponir online, put in the notes to have it be Indian ponir Vs their default cheddar sauce. They delivered it with cheddar sauce, then they were incredibly rude to my husband and hung up on him. They've remade it but are grumbling. Told us we should complain to THEIR webhost! That they can't be held accountable for orders placed on THEIR OWN WEBSITE! Tell me how that makes sense?

I had one of the worst customer service experiences in a very long time. The server yesterday really couldn’t be bothered to be there, he was rude in his delivery, he delivered a dish I didn’t ask for and then argued that it was me that got it wrong, I’m allergic to nuts I wouldn’t order a dish with nuts in. When I called him out on his rudeness, he didn’t care and I think would rather we weren't there. The sad thing is, the food is always excellent and every other time we have eaten there there service was good, shame We won’t be going back.

Just ordered waited 1 hour, completely delivered wrong order not edible for us When called & explained received wrong food was told sort you out next time too busy to be bothered to listen .. Seriously just had rice & poppadoms for £30…… not even remotely acceptable, dining club . been a customer of yours for many years …

Spent £85 for a takeaway and they didn't even throw in some poppadoms. Mediocre food, different dishes taste the same, won't be ordering from here again

Great quality curries, very tasty and delivered on time.

This place hardly ever seems to have anybody inside but the way the phone other tech was going they have lots of take away business. The place is clean warm goid decor and the food was very good

Delicious every time, We just love the Indian Dining Club; the food is always perfectly cooked and delicious and the staff are so friendly. So many friends we have recommended it to, have made it their go to too. We look forward to every meal in the restaurant or take away.

My favourite indian, staff try to short change often and hope you dont realise but the food is bang on. Just count your change and check the bill for extra items being added. If it was not for that it woukd have been 5 star because the food it amazing.

You don't even deserve one star. This was the first and last time ordering from this place. The order never arrived even after nearly two hours. After calling the restaurant several times to an extremely rude man, I was told the driver waited half an hour and they tried to call. So the driver tried calling but you told me you didn't have my number. How does that make sense? I had to get my money back from uber after refusing to cancel my order and hanging up on me. Never again!

Food was and always is delicious

Ordered a dish from the House Specialities. The Lamb Xacuti - which they advertised as "A very popular goan dish cooked with roasted spice tamarind, garlic and ginger". What was delivered was a lamb tikka skewered kebab thrown into a bhuna sauce. Called them and they said that this is what the Lamb Xacuti is. Well it is not, I am from GOA and it is a totally different dish both in looks, ingredients and taste. First 2 photos of what was delivered. Last 3 photos of a real Xacuti. Coconut is an ingredient in Xacuti it is not made using tikka kebab and a bhuna sauce. Was really dissatisfied and disappointed with both the dish and their response. The delivery time was good. The vegetable dishes were fine.

The kebab platter was too salty. Old meat but cooked freshly. The cheese naan wasn't tasty. It had some weird tasteless cheese in it

Absolutely delicious! Fresh, tasty and delivered with haste, safe and sound. Generous portions, exquisite seasoning jam-packed full of flavour. Best bhajis I've had since I was a kid. Beautiful, rich and sweet makhani. Punchy, deep KING prawn dansak with a delicate and fragrant pilau rice. New regular right here.

Cancelled an uber eats order and were not very polite when I called to ask what had happened

Very rude, ordered via uber eats and they cancelled it just before it was due to be delivered (45 minutes later). When I called to ask why that happened, the man had an attitude in his tone and told me I was too far and its not his problem, then hung up on me. Now if you come up on my uber eats under my postcode, then I am within your delivery area. 1st time trying to order, never will try again

Ordered for NYE for a specific time window so that we could eat after children were asleep. Arrived over an hour early. Food is good but don’t rely on delivery at a specific time.

Food was good but limited if you are vegan .The staff were friendly but rushed us taking plates away when one of was still eating and gave the bill without us even asking. Wouldnt go again.

The food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I really wish they had asked me if I wanted a plastic straw before giving it to me unexpectedly, it went completely to waste! The service was also a little rushed, it could have been a bit slower paced.

My order was delivered on time and was nice & hot in very good containers, the dishes were very good lamb madras and dhansak very nice cuts of lamb, generous portions, good pilau rice. My only slight gripe is a £1 pound delivery charge on a £19 + order, and worse a 50p charge for using a credit or debit card, i can understand that with a credit card as the restaurant does incur a charge, but I used a debit card which doesn't, a bit irritating, hense 4 stars.

Last visit not satisfied, in starter we ordered some meat dishes and kebabs was chewy and cold and staff wasn't friendly and rude.

The food was of a good quality, only let down was the level of customer service. Not that it was bad, but the restaurant was busy, and felt as though we were being somewhat rushed. An example of this is that we had hardly finished our meal and the waiter presented us with the bill. Despite this there was a good choice of food to choose from on the menu, and the food was freshly prepared. It is despite the rushed customer service well worth a visit.

Firstly, what a pretentious name! Waiters need a bit of training up... our red wine was opened and then just plonked on the table, then later he filled my friend’s small glass right up to the top! I quickly put my hand over mine :-) I like a big glass just under half full. Also a small can of mixer was spilt over me, everyone makes mistakes but he didn’t seem bothered. On to the food... cheap and nasty meat, some of mine was chewy and some bits were okay; but I suppose you can cover a multitude of sins if the dish is covered in sauce. Overall, the dish lacked complexity of flavour. Not impressed and most definitely will not be going back.

One of very few curry houses open for takeaway in the current situation. They were manically busy in the kitchen, with several waiting (socially spaced). Prawn puree was ok, though the puree was a bit heavy. Sheek kebab and chicken shashlik were fine, I had a dish I hadn't heard of before, but it was the only special shown as "hot", and hot it was. Perfectly, though the lamb tikka content was rather chewy. Mushroom bhaji was tasteless without the remotest hint of spice. In normal times I wouldn't return, but as they're making the effort, I probably shall.

Popped into this restaurant on the way home from an afternoon out. Never been before and read the reviews and thought give it a try. Very nice friendly welcome and very nice clean and spacious inside. Food was very good, not too strong a flavour but all had their own taste. Portion size compared to other restaurants was quite small though. Really enjoyed every dish we had (starters and 6 dishes) , I would go again when near the area. Complimentary drink offered after our meal too. Waiters all very nice, friendly and helpful.

I had never been to this restaurant before but definitely will again. Excellent food and the service was faultless.

Huge thanks to the staff, especially the chef, for the AMAZING food they served myself, and 20 guests, last Saturday night! The food was delicious, as always! Everyone was raving over it! For what we have ordered from this place and what we paid for was not up to standard. They sent us the wrong order and when we were eating all we could taste was salt. The person who answered the phone was very Unprofessional as well.

This is my new favourite Restaurant. Food was amazing and I have never had such fast service. Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in the area. And great that they employ a team of super speedy delivery locals.

Besides all the mix reviews, it rather seems that the restaurant is in need for some consistency, I placed an order tonight for a a takeaway which came very quickly, I ordered three mains and a kheema nan, the popodums we’re not in the order albeit these were ordered, the tandoori mix grill was nice, not a great quality and quantity for how much it cost, the other thing worth mentioning, as a chef, I’m aware the feather blade which is a beef shoulder cut is served as Lamb, please stop serving this, I know it’s beef and so it should be served as lamb, overall, the food was nice on this occasion, I’m pretty sure you can do better but only if you want to stop cutting corners, staff are generally nice since I’ve eaten from there few times but given the mixed reviews you have got to listen to your customers and deliver on what we all think you can be better at. Good luck .

Ordered food at 20.10 and was told it’d be 45 mins. 1hour 15 mins later I call and was told food was out for delivery. Eventually after many calls the food arrives after 1 hour 45mins......Luke warm at best.......had gone past hungry by this stage. Can’t judge food as I didn’t taste. Didn’t want to chance getting Delhi belly.......Maybe better to eat in. Don’t order a takeaway. Order today, expect next week!

Went to visit this restaurant on the way back home from a weekend in london OMG what a joke would have been better off at the kebab shop next door lamb was chewy and even the dog would not have it ordered peas and panner curry and it come out like pea soup We were looked after by Alam who was standing in for the manager who was not there and if you want a rude waiter / manager he is the person you need to speak with also came across very patronising If you want rubbish food and crap service please go here

Lovely fresh food with great flavours, everything on the menu tasted wonderful and not too heavy. Polite attentive service but not intrusive like in some restaurants. Really nice place to enjoy a laid back celebration or just catch up with friends. Check out this gem as it's just as good if not better than some of the bigger names in the area!

Order a takeaway and paid over the phone and was told 45 mins . So hour gos by and then was told on its way , after another 20 mins no curry so I phoned again and was told sent to the wrong address and will make a new but will be 30 mins it is now 9.30 !! So I asked for a refund and the man put the phone down !!!! So my gf had to ring back to get the refund .... No apology or food I used to use this curry house a lot , I will not be using again ...

Eat here, dine in or take away, regularly. Ticks all the boxes for a good curry house... Decent food, friendly service and reasonable prices.

It was the first time I ordered from them and will be the last. I wanted to try a different Indian in Highams Park other than the Avenue (with no disrespect to them). I used the online service to be told it would take 45mins (fair enough, Saturday night as well). An hour and 10mins later still nothing so made my way down to the restaurant. They tried to give me a lukewarm meal. When I complained they took the bag from me and told me to wait 25mins more!! Demanded a refund straight away, to be told to contact ChefOnline. We shall wait and see how long that takes to come through.

the deliver guy had trouble finding my location, but the food was outstanding. I had a lot of this type of food but theses guys know 100% of what they are doing. Amazing! Will order more!

Eat here loads. Always make the kids feel special, great nosh and a relaxed family environment combined with modern discrete decor.

I and my family use this restaurant often. Not any more though. I phoned and my order was said to be around 26 pounds. I asked if popadoms cone with it and they said no, so I ordered 4 popadoms to make it 29.30. The only freebie they would offer was a bottle of coke at 30 pounds, so I got another popadom to make it 30 quid and I get a free bottle of coke. On my old menu it said wine was free at 30 but on the phone that offer was said to be not available. When it arrives, they gave me the wine as a gesture of good will but said they therefore charged me for the coke. My food order should have actually been 27.40 so why they charged me 30 on the phone is unknown - when I queried it then said it was for the coke. He could not understand that the 30 pounds was based on the food alone and then free coke. I never agreed the wine. They ripped me off, got found out and then refused to even acknowledge the mistake. Never using them again nor will immediate family.

We had another great meal here on Friday night. Fab food as usual and friendly welcoming staff. One of our favourites.

The starters were awful. I had the lamb chops, they were tough and sinewy and pretty bland. The mains were better but nothing outstanding, the byriani with chicken Tikka was nice but could have done without the one piece of tomato and cucumber as a garnish, the mushroom bhaji was ok, the onion bhaji was a bit soggy, the kee a naan only had meat in one half of the bread. One of the waiting staff was rude and persistent. Quiet for a Saturday night. Not a restaurant I would rush back to.

Visitamos aquí con amigos un sábado por la noche y nos recibieron cálidamente y nos llevaron a una buena mesa y ofrecía bebidas, pero el servicio comenzó a ir cuesta abajo desde aquí. No estaba lleno, pero el más entusiasta era realmente molesto camareros, que constantemente nos interrumpir e incluso cuando nos decia darnos 5 minutos para decidir lo eran de nuevo con segundos.

Went with a group on a Saturday night and the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange because the food is very good, freshly cooked and nicely spiced. There are countless average curry houses spread across London but this one is comfortably better than most I have visited. For a start, there is a lot of choice, with some special dishes alongside the ones you're all familiar with and the prices are reasonable for this part of London. The staff are welcoming too. The bill came before we asked for it (why? There were only three tables in) but that's a minor irritation. Would happily return.

Today was our first order from the Indian Dining Club and I have to say, it was a real treat. The food exceeded our expectations; strongly recommend their Chicken Tikka Masala :) Will definitely recommend and re-order if not, visit the actual restaurant itself.

We always have our take out from here and it is alway excellent. The restaurant is also vey clean and comfortable and staff are very polite and welcoming.

We had a takeaway from here as it is local, i think the food is very good, i can't fault it. They we full portions an the rice was done well, the Bargis were nice too. I had a lamb shank and it was cooked well, the meat fell of the bone as it should. They were ready onetime too.

We have visited the Indian Dining Club a few times now and always choose them for take aways which they deliver.

Had our first takeaway from here last night, and it was absolutely delicious. The only reason I couldn't rate a 5* is because we ordered 2 poppadoms and only recorded one and a broken half (in photo) that we just couldn't work out. Honestly, most Indians give you way more poppadoms than you order, but getting half of one you've ordered? However, it was just one slip up in an otherwise scrummy meal!

This is the best Indian food for your money but most importantly their customer service is BANG ON! Both for dine in and takeaway.

This is our go to take away, everything is good, especially the starters. The samosas and tikka meats are excellent. Generous portions, reasonably priced and always quick delivery.

Small, modern (what will be old school soon) decor. Service is friendly, mostly attentive, other times rudimentary dependant on waiter. Curries range from fab to same old. Chef obviously tries to offer dishes that are not the usual affair, and the quality of cooking is not doubted. However on numerous visits customers tend to opt for what they know rather than trying something different! Of the local curry houses this is the best by far in terms of food and service in Highams Park. What their main rival The Avenue has though is Kingfisher beer on draught, which I absolutely love! That said I can get Kingfisher in a bottle at The Indian Dining Club so that and a harayli murgh will do me! Good food, service and Kingfisher beer - what more could you ask for?!
