Visited here today and ate in. Usually have home delivery. Food was amazing as usual. Staff very pleasant. Service was excellent. Thank you guys

Amazing once again for our daughters birthday Evie which is her favourite restaurant!! Food was spot on as always and the service was brilliant and the fact that they went out and got her a cake especially was a nice touch. Can't recommend this place enough.

We always go the extra distance to get our food from here as we have never had a problem until today. Very disappointed with the service. We were given the wrong order and didn’t check until we got back as previously mentioned we’ve never had issues. We rang to explain the situation and explained we wanted the order doing again to be told they would only redo what was missing meaning that some of the items would be cold by the time we received the rest of the food. When we picked up the remaining items we were given a copy of an item we had already received and another item missing. Will not be ordering from here again.

Have always loved this place, but this time it was not good. Portions small, greasy and was charged extra for 1 king prawn. Ok, cost of everything has gone up but this was really disappointing. Service was not as good as usual, waiter hovered and cleared the table before we were ready. What has happened to the King of Spice??

Ordered a takeaway from King of Spice which has always produced excellent quality food at very reasonable prices. The service has always been prompt and very polite. What more can you ask. Thank you to all 👍👍👍

Both meals I had recently were not as described...one without the egg...one that was all mashed up no roast onions and peppers....the food was okay...service good. But I think we will try other restaurants before going back...Shame been going there since opened.

A lovely meal cooked superbly. The presentation was great and added touches. Would highly recommend it. Good value and good service, just remember to take cash if you are dining in.

Me and my boyfriend order from here near enough every week. We went for a meal here on Friday and was fabulous and the customer service was great.

Consistently good, recently stopped freebies over a certain order value which is a shame. For the past few years KoS have always delivered good food, never messed up an order and delivered in good time. Naan breads are small, but tasty. Items to add to menu would be a tawa and a family size naan. Overall a great take away.

I don't know if this place has changed hands but the food wasn't good this last time we ordered. Bland curry, and the mint sauce was bright orange and didn't taste the same.

Had takeaway and Very disappointed after being recommended.. prawn purée the prawn were so small over cooked and greasy the lamb sagwala had a thick layer of grease on top of the carton hardly any spinach in it and the lamb was hard the Paratha was rock hard And the talks daal was really runny ... so yep won’t be returning

Chicken Tikka Masala - was dreadful, it tasted as if coconut cream had been put in it Plus 1/2 a bag of sugar, too sweet & horrible taste, the garlic man had no garlic, the mint sauce, watery & illumines green

I've used the King of Spice for Takeaways ever since they opened - initially because it was handy to call into on my way back from work, but subsequently because I've always enjoyed their food. The staff are very friendly, and always remember their regulars. Over the years I've worked my way through virtually everything on the menu, and i've never had a bad meal from them. They serve very generously sized portions too! There are several good curry houses within a short distance from here, but this remains my favourite.

Ordered from here a few times now and food is always excellent! Tastes amazing, piping hot and even on busy days it is usually early! This is definitely our go to Indian choice

Absolute pleasure as always, we go regularly for “banquet night” - popadom, starter, main, side all for a tenner. Quick service but always delicious, would definitely recommend a sit in. You won’t be disappointed x

Food was good quality but one of the starters was incorrect.

We ordred a chicken and lamb achri and received 2 chicken one had too much lime added which made it unpalatable and spolit the curry. My partner cant eat chicken so ended up only eating the onion bhagi and popudoms most of both of the curries ended up in the bin. Very disappointed as we have had some lovely meals from the restaurant .

Good service and delivery was quick. However, food was awful, chicken tikka masala was so sweet it was impossible to eat and was all waisted, the all of the chicken in the dishes were over cooked as the chicken was tough and dry. The lamb in the bhuna was tough. Bit of a shame as we had heard good things about this Indian.

Having used King Of Spice since they opened, I was looking forward to a post lockdown banquet. I was told it would be an hour and half for delivery which was fine as it sounded busy on the phone. I called for an update bang on the time and was told "its on its way". 20 mins later I was told exactly the same and then 20 mins later I was again told the same....When it got to 2 and a quarter hours since my order, I told them to keep the money I had paid and not to bother bringing my order. It DID arrive shortly after with a FREE bottle of Pepsi for my trouble! To add insult to injury, my starter was a shrivelled mess, my FAVOURITE main of 'Murghi Keema Delight' was a tasteless, sloppy tomato sauce dish with no trace of lamb mince which appears to suggest the chef has gone and a cook employed. It was thoroughly disappointing and sorry King Of Spice but....if you want quality, tasty Indian food folks then pay the extra and go to Khans Kitchen at Sankeys Corner. You will pay more but worth every penny. Disappointed of Burntwood.

Awful service, even worse cold food. Please take your custom elsewhere. 2 hour wait. Rang restaurant to complain and food miraculously was delivered in 15 mins. Vast majority of food was all cold. Mixed grill the all the meat over cooked and dry as a bone and not how it was sold in the description. Tikka wrap is in fact sweet and sour wrap. Top it off my girlfriend is vegetarian and bit into samosa full of meat. You can imagine that went down well. All in all take your hard earned money elsewhere, plenty of choice in Burntwood and surrounding areas.

Food was late and only when I contacted restaurant it was here in about 15 mins. 30 mins later than already scheduled so nearly 2 hours later I sat down to cold starter. A new ‘meat vegetable samosa’s. Cold mixed kebab and meat was dry as cardboard. Mixed grill was also cold and over cooked. Tikka wrap is more like sweet and sour chicken in a wrap. In conclusion order from a decent Indian takeaway that actually value your customer and have customer service skills. Never again

First time customer. One of my orders was scampi & chips and ended up with chicken nuggets & chips. I called the restaurant and they provided me with the scampi & another portion of chips about 20 minutes later, hot and fresh. The Chicken tikka chilli masala was nice as well. If I was being picky I would say it could have been slightly more spicy but other than that it was nice.

I used to love the food from here and had a delivery every Saturday. Had a bad one suddenly and phoned to let them know rather than leave a bad free review. Tried again tonight after a few weeks and be doing it again. Apart from the food being bad there's now a £4 delivery charge, and one poppedom, just mean and bad food!

When I sign in to just eat the time shown as 25-40 minutes. after I completed my order the delivery time was 1 hour 15 minutes. I tried to cancel but was unable to get through to the King of spice and to cancel on just eat I was going to be changed for half of the order total. The food was then delayed but another 30 minutes. Had I have been made aware of the time scale up front I wouldnt have placed the order Food was ok but not worth a 2 hour wait.

I can’t review the quality of the food as I wasn’t able to eat it. The chips were undercooked and the poppadoms were soggy. If you can’t get the simple dishes right then how would the curry have been. I didn’t feel comfortable eating any of the order. I did speak to the manager and was offered a discount on my next order (I won’t be ordering from them again) or replacement meal but that it would be another 2 hours. he also explained that I would need to contact just eat for a refund which I have done. This was probably a blip as the place is extremely busy but I won’t be ordering from them again

After being shut for a while and having to try numerous other restaurants tonight i was blessed with a delivery of heaven. As always superb food and great flavour.

Left a request for balti to be extra hot it was bland and tasteless with no heat Requested no prawns in tawa as seafood allergy so unable to eat it Regular customers eating in so very disappointed

Ordered at 9:12 and was told our order would be with us for 10:30, had a text at 10:20 saying it’s on its way. called at 10:45 as still hadn’t had the order to be told “it should of been there at 10:30, they should be there soon” we waited till just before 11 to call back again which is when they was closing to be told again “ it should of been there at 10:30, he’s probably there look out your window” and he still wasn’t there. Food finally turned up at 11:20, meaning it would of been “out for delivery” for a hour if they had actually left when the text was sent. Also very overpriced for a can of coke out a multipack, definitely won’t be ordering again. Unfortunately I paid by Apple Pay, else we would of cancelled the order all together after it taking that long.

A regular here with my parents when we can get some time off. Always enjoy it and good prices for a decent indian
