The food and service was good but the whole meal was rushed and within 1hour and 10 minutes we were told that we would need to take our drinks out into the garden because they had a big group coming in and needed the table. Very disappointed as last time we went, we had a lovely evening. I think they should appreciate the small groups as well as the big ones, as we are the people who go back time and time again.

Very disappointing experience. I really rated Moohans when it opened, but the food and service has dropped off. Ordered a takeaway, which was missing several dishes and two of the curries were almost identical despite being described as different. I called the restaurant to provide constructive feedback (rather than leave a negative review) and was promptly promised a call back, but they couldn't even manage that. Won't be going again, too many poor experiences.

Lovely vibe and cool decor. One staff member gave us a friendly welcome. The food was also very nice x However, the service was chronically slow. We arrived at 10:35 on a Sunday morning for breakfast. It wasnât empty, but certainly not busy - maybe around ten other people who all seem to have ordered. Despite the fact it wasnât that busy, the three of us all received our food at significant time intervals. One of the staff who was bringing out the food, didnât seem to know or care who the food she was carrying was for. We waited over 30 minutes from ordering before we received our food. Itâs such a shame, as everything is here to make this a great place to revisit, but I wonât and I visit the area regularly for football matches.

Had a great tandoori meal from this takeaway. All freshly cooked and the keema nan was excellent great service, and as I had got the time wrong for collecting and had missed my bus back into town the owner kindly took me back to town at no cost how great was that!! Thanks for that and see you soon đ

We have been using this takeaway since early 80 s tried other Indian takeaways sorry no a patch on this takeaway we've lost the best Chinese takeaway in Gloucester I really hope we don't lose this takeaway cos I think if we do I'm maybe going to have to stop having takeaways cos nothing compares to city Indian and parkend Chinese

Guess it was a victim of the pandemic, but in any case Cafe Le Raj is permanently closed. Plenty more Injuns in Upminster but this was definitely one of ,if not the, favourite.

We have just been. Friendly service and the food was very good. We had the chicken Thali and had one between two which was just right for a light lunch. The food tasted fresh and well presented. We will definitely go back and try out some other dishes as the menu is very varied and the price was reasonable.
