Tikka Nation in Birmingham

Delicious food and great service. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes we tried. Especially the mango lassi and lamb thali ( and gunpowder on the fries) Service was excellent! Friendly and great at reccomending things to try. Will certainly be returning with friends and family. Thank you for a lovely evening!!!

We had a very enjoyable experience here today. We parked up wanting to eat as we saw a pizza express down the road. But as we were walking down we seen this place so we thought we would try it out. I think we made the right decision as it was really delicious food well definitely better than pizza express!!! The only slight negative would be the food was a bit slow coming out but still 5 stars. I live in Coventry but when I'm there again will definitely be visiting. Thank you 😊

Delicious food, great prices & our waitress Naz was efficient & personable. We live in Nottingham or we would be dining at Tikka Nation regularly.

Arrived for a meal with my friend and attempted to use a Taste Discount Card which was 2 for 1 across starters , mains and desserts. We only wanted main courses but where told we had to have a starter and main to get the deal despite that not being stated on the card. The waitress/ cook Sumit told us this was not a Tastecard rule but a Restaurant rule. At times, including when we visited, there is one person greeting guests, taking orders, cooking food and serving it. The service was shockingly slow and one seated couple walked out. Our service was so slow that we paid for the starters and left. When we paid the bill she had added 1 pound onto one of the starters and 45p onto each pint of cobra. When we knocked on the kitchen door to attract attention we noted that everything was microwaved. We will not return.

I had such an incredible time at Tikka Nation. The customer service was warming and very professional. The food was a combination of mouthwatering and tasty dishes I would highly recommend. I had the grill Tikka Platter: Chicken Tikka, Dhaba Tikka, Seekh Kebal, Chutney Chicken Tikka

Knowing the food is good we try and try again to order from Tikka Nation (we’ve eaten in & ordered take away) but the service continues to be disappointing. My more recent experiences have been with take away. 1-1.5 hour waits on food x3 delivery orders now and the owner still insisting they would charge us 50% of our meal. When you ring up, the staff are friendly but have no empowerment to resolve the issues themselves. The delivery is outsourced and blamed for the issue. Not acceptable, we won’t be ordering again.

Popped in for lunch mid afternoon walk. Second time I have been and again not disappointed. Lovely vibrant premises, polite friendly staff. Delicious food and a nice Cobra beer. I had the veg samosas and tikka wrap. Samosas were fresh, piping hot, not greasy and the pastry was crumbly and fresh. The wrap was big, stuffed full of chicken and salad and the spice was just right for lunch. Both came with dips which were nice, one tamarind and the other a spicy chilli dip.,

I tried the aloo paratha there for the first time last week & it was amazing. It was huge, filling & tasted so good. I would definitely go back here for breakfast & to try out the evening menu. Beautiful decor inside too. Highly recommended.

First time eating here and certainly won’t be the last. Naz was really helpful in explaining the menu to us as it was a bit overwhelming for choice. She explained the portion sizes and the amount of dishes me might need. I went for the Onion Bhaji Bun and the Tikka loaded fries which were both amazing - really tasty. My wife had the Paneer bun and one of the Chaat dishes which were both incredible. We ended up chatting with the chef who was a lovely lady from India who is really passionate about good food. They also serve cocktails, my wife had a lovely mojito, and I had a couple of pints of Cobra. Will 100% be back again, and will be trying the wraps!

Throughly enjoyed the food at tikka nation. Masala Chips, Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll, and the Chilli Naan were really nice. Lovely service and good atmosphere. Made for an enjoyable evening

What's not to like... From the food to the service, to the atmosphere & the cost!!! Naz our waitress was faultless throughout & recommended some gorgeous dishes. Thank you, will absolutely come back

Lovely place, greeted by a very friendly lady. Was served straight away - food was lovely and hot and plenty of it. Fries were the best I have ever had and naan bread was amazing. Lovely clean chilled environment can’t wait to visit again.

Tried this place on a whim while visiting Sutton Coldfield. Looked shut when we arrived. The staff confirmed they were open then removed the chairs from the table tops. Looked like they were about to go home then decided against it. The menu seemed to lean towards street food rather than traditional Asian restaurant food. It was tasty, spicy and the staff were polite and attentive. The menu wasn’t full of your usual Indian options which may appeal to some visitors or not for others. Wasn’t necessarily cheap for the portions you got but it was acceptable. Probably better choices in the area which I’d try if retuning again.

Went with a friend on a weekday evening. What a gem of a place, the food was amazing. Normally to find indian food like this we would have to travel into Birmingham. The service too was exceptional, we were served by the lovely Darshna. Have recommend this place to others and will definitely be returning.

Naz was very friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference to a dining experience. Food is excellent; the only mystery was why it costs £5.95 for a tiny plate of miniature poppadoms. But otherwise the food is tasty and reasonably priced - the paneer tikka masala was excellent.

Was craving something light but spicy and tangy and sweet!! Luckily we came across Tikka Nation... Had Pani Puri Chaat Samosa Choley and Gunpowder fries!! The taste was heaven... and lovey ambience!! Defo try it out!

The food was great- definitely had the Indian street food vibe- everything was sizzling fresh! The shining star has to be Naz- I wouldn’t usually sit in a restaurant writing a review, but she was all on her own and the service was excellent. Excellent.

We have just come home after an absolutely fantastic Christmas Lunch at Tikka Nation. Our food was absolutely delicious, cooked by the talented Darshna. The service from Anish was impeccable. We will definitely return, and cannot recommend highly enough.

Relaxed, great service (from Nas), good atmosphere. The food was fantastic and real value for money. Can’t recommend it enough.
