I have always enjoyed every meal at Zindiya, just a fabulous menu, great service and the new menu is really good, will keep coming back!!

Absolutely loved our visit to Zindiya for their High Chai – their unique twist on afternoon tea. The chai was absolutely delicious, and every bite was full of flavour. We left completely stuffed and so impressed by the variety and quality. Such a bargain for the price, and a fantastic way to support an amazing independent spot. Highly recommend!

Such a shame … Deliveroo delivered cold food which took away the expectation, the food was delivered damaged , so did not enjoy .

We had a really great lunch at Zindiya last weekend. The food was interesting and delicious and our children tried so many new dishes. The service was perfect - friendly, thoughtful and helpful. We had helpful recommendations and were made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant - perfect for a couple, group or family.

I wouldn't recommend this place for celebrations. Our main server was good but all the other staff where not. I found them rude and clumsy, to the point we spent over £300 for a special occasion and the bill had made up orders and extra charges added on top of this and the staff refused to assist resolving the issue. Very unhelpful and hostile over essentially a £3 ice cream which blew our mind and ruined the afternoon. The menu prices are also not accurate they will add 12.5% ontop of your orders. Almost had a wonderful experiance but won't be recommending or returning here unfortunately due to the way they approached us and handled their customer service.

Refreshing! After experiencing shocking customer service at a certain pizzeria in Solihull owned by the Lasan Group, our eating out experience at Zindiya was extremely refreshing! The male and female staff members waiting on Thursday 3 April evening were amazing. Everthing for them just seemed effortless, nothing was too much to ask for. Our order was taken promptly , our food arrived in good time, it was piping hot and delicious. When it came to pay the bill we informed the female staff that we had an IB card and wanted to take advantage of the best discount off our meal. Without much effort she totalled our bill and explained it to us. She was friendly and patient with us. The experience of eating out isn’t just about being served food, it’s a combinations of great food, relaxing atmosphere and top customer service. Zindiya, you’ve been amazing! Thank you.

Went for the afternoon tea with family and it was lovely , a really nice twist to what you would see as a "traditional" afternoon tea and lots of new things to try too.

Im a chef so Im in a good position to comment. We have been here 5 or 6 times over the last year and I've got to say it's my favourite place to eat out now. If you appreciate good food then try it and you'll realise how good it is. It's value for money as well. Keep it up.

My son-in-law took my wife for high chai here. It was so good she brought me back to try it. Now we can’t to work our way through the whole menu!

Punjabi cusine. Loved their tea. I have never tasted authentic Punjabi tea anywhere in Birmingham except this place. Ordered Channa Bature, fish pakora and samosa chat. All were authentic taste and good quantity. Recommend anyone who want to taste authentic Punjabi cusine.

My son took me for high chai for a birthday treat. We loved everything about it: aromas, presentation, flavours, textures, decor, service. I'm going to bring my husband soon so I can have a repeat of the experience. Our waiter, Anmol, was excellent. Thank you.

Went with friends, not good for food

The best bottomless brunch in Birmingham. The food was delicous, lots of choice and large portions. The drinks were 10/10 and again lots of choice (beer/wine/cocktails/spirits). The staff were amazing, very attentive and let us stay significantly over our allotted time. If you call and book directly through them, it's also cheaper 🫶 would absolutely recommend and will be going back again!

DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY BY DELIVEROO... Zindaya's food is fabulous however it is spoilt when delivered. Go eat in the restaurant and experience 6/5! Don't be disappointed unduly by having their flavoursome and authentic (I've lived in India) tasting street food!

We had the Indian afternoon tea and it was AMAZING!!! We had the loveliest mix of different dishes & desserts. Would highly recommend. The tea and drinks were great too! Very nice vibes and Shivam was very accommodating!!

Have had deliveries from here multiple times and visited twice as well. Great food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, with authentic flavours. Service is attentive and friendly, and the cocktail menu has a good selection.

First time at this place. I was impressed. The decor along with the food and plating all came together superbly. Good attention to detail. Amritsari Fish was the star of the show. Butter chicken was not great but I’ve had worse. Overall great experience, well done to the owners and the staff for making this a great place to visit when I’m in Birmingham.

Went for birthday celebration. Made to feel welcome. Beetroot chaat, lamb curry, dahi puri, soya 65 and okra fries were real highlights. Will be back,

They gave me a small order for my home delivery. I ordered chilli paneer from the mains and got what was a starter portion. I tried ringing there and then, rang 3 times and got no answer. It stated on their website to email any issues with orders within 24 hours. I did this along with order number and picture of the portion I got. Been mire then 24 hours and not heard anything. Food was nice but the size of the chilli paneer not correct.

Llegamos a las 6 pm aprox con solo una mesa de comedor. Había una cálida, limpia, acogedora recepción en el bar donde nos recibió un hombre detrás de la barra. El personal de riego masculino no sonrió durante todo el servicio y fue bastante conservador en su servicio al cliente. El atuendo eran camisetas y pantalones negros que es habitual en estos restaurantes callejeros. Se proporcionaron menús y se tomaron bebidas. Hubiera sido bueno para el personal explicar los platos sin que nos avisaran ya que aconsejamos a la llegada era nuestra primera vez allí. Si va a llegar en coche, tendrá que pagar hasta el 18 : 45 en la carretera de lo contrario si usted está feliz de caminar hasta 5 minutos, encontrará bastantes calles residenciales con amplio aparcamiento. La comida fue servida muy bien sin prisa o velocidad, lo que nos dio tiempo para absorber el ambiente y comprobar la carta de cócteles. La comida era excelente y muy sabrosa y la presentación era excepcional. El servidor no revisó la comida hasta que terminamos nuestros platos principales, que parecía extraño. Había varias comidas para llevar que se pedían mientras estábamos allí a través de diferentes mensajeros, así que probablemente lo mejor es no sentarse demasiado cerca de la puerta para no ser molestado. La cocina era de planta abierta y el personal trabajó duro y fueron presentados con cuidado. El espacio para el servicio de comida y preparación parecía muy limpio y se podía ver que se tenía cuidado en sus deberes. El gerente estaba ayudando con las entregas para llevar a partir de las 7 pm aprox, pero no se relacionó con los clientes, lo que fue decepcionante. Me gustaría volver a visitar este restaurante, ya que apoya una organización benéfica para personas sin hogar, incluyendo Street Basil's cuando vas a pagar, pero no me gustó la máquina de tarjetas que establece un porcentaje para pagar como propina a los camareros. Creo que esto se debe a la discreción del cliente y no casi se hace cumplir. Sin embargo, este es un detalle menor a la experiencia general. Recomiendo reservar ya que se pone extremadamente ocupado después de las 8 pm y los fines de semana.

We visited Zindiya as a large group for a family birthday, and had a wonderful experience. The menu is as vibrant and exciting as the décor, which takes you right back to the colourful, bustling streets of India. We had plenty to choose from, with a great choice of vegetarian options. Something that stood out was the quality of the cocktails, we loved the Indian twist of flavours, lovely, unusual soft drinks too. Service was great, and the friendly owner came over to chat to us too and made sure we were happy with everything. We appreciated the patience of the staff as we stayed after closing time to cut a birthday cake with family, and have more drinks, which was nice not to feel pressured to hurry. We are not familiar with Moseley, but had heard good things about the restaurant, so were keen to travel further to visit - we were really impressed and hope to return soon.

Lovely high chai experience, with delicious sweets and savouries and bottomless Chai. Defineitly recommend to friends and family.

Comimos aquí temprano en Nochevieja con un grupo de amigos. Elegimos alrededor de 2 - 3 platos pequeños cada uno y compartido y wow cada plato era fabuloso. Me encantó el paneer tikka y patatas de pólvora. La comida llegó rápidamente. El personal era genial y cuando habíamos terminado , no había prisa para desalojar la mesa. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveremos pronto. Gracias por una noche fabulosa

We have found our new favourite Indian restaurant in Birmingham! Food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Definitely among the best Indian food we tried in Birmingham. Cozy ambience and reasonable prices make it a perfect spot for memorable meal. We will surely visit again.

I ate at this restaurant a couple of times a few years ago when it first opened. The food is really interesting and tasty. Small dishes with lots of flavour and beautifully presented at the table. The drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were equally fabulous. Collectively the food and drinks service supported and enhanced this trendy restaurant experience. Ideal for casual or more formal occasions. Very close to the bus stops in Moseley and the pubs (the parking is very sparse in this location so getting the bus is ideal or a taxi). On the Warwickshire Bears Cricket stadium bus route and Kings Heath. When will the train station open? It'll be a short walk from Moseley train station once it opens!

Experienced the High Chai, what a wonderful selection of authentic Indian street food complete with teapots full of chai. The decor is immersive, very colourful and comfy. The owner was very helpful and informative. They have a lovely festive menu too.

Visited Zindiya at our recent trip to Birmingham. This place looks ordinary from outside but inside its huge and extraordinary decor which will make you feel like you are in India. The food choices were good and like the small portion sizes which enabled us to try multiple items without overeating! Will definitely come back again.

Been going to moseley for years for food/drinks and must of walked past and looked in Zindiya hundreds of times. Finally ate in the other day and was so angry I had not tried it sooner. I feel like there are a lot of similar Indian street food type places which are very samey bit this place without a doubt is the best and is something different. Excited for my next visit!

Wow this was an exquisite experience! Zindiya has lovely decor, music, atmosphere and their High Chai afternoon tea is one of the best we’ve ever had. The flavours of every single dish are both exciting and superb, the masala chai tea really complemented the whole selection. Would 100% recommend, it was a fabulous afternoon!!

Stupendous! The vibe of this place is absolutely spot on and transports you into India and back, all without the costly plane ticket! The food is amazing, freshly prepared, filling and the price is spot on! The chicken breast pieces were very tender. We will be returning, next time to try the afternoon teas! Ensure you try the Limca soft drink if you’ve never had it before! It’s sweet and tasty! A truly authentic experience and one of the best around!

We ordered butter chicken and dhal makani, which was delicious and the service was alround good. We ordered the food as a takeaway but on pickup you can see the atmosphere was great in the resturant....worth eating out!

Looks like employees are directly come from Mumbai. They treat you by your presence. Lady waitress said we need to order minimum three items. I didn’t see her telling the same for other customers. Wish this lady gets some training and visit other restaurants to learn from them.

Went to the newly established 'Jazz' night on Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. We were absolutely delighted with EVERYTHING. The food was absolutely sublime and the service was wonderful. The Jazz trio were BRILLIANT and we enjoyed the sets 👏🏽 I was pleasantly surprised when the staff bought out my dessert with a candle on top & sung happy birthday to me! Such a lovely gesture! THANK YOU. I can't fault this place. It's very close to my heart for many reasons & long may it stay in Moseley. If you haven't been and want a taste of India including the ambience (the decor is amazing & brings back many memories of my time in India), then this is the place for you. Go today! ❤️

Absolutely loved their food. We ordered beetroot chaat & paneer dosa. Best I have ever tasted. Sambhar had veggies in it, dosa was perfect! We don’t order chaat normally due to it being high in carbs, Beetroot chaat though was exceptionally good, high in protein as you get loads of chickpeas with it. Masala chai was sugar free just how i like it. Amazing food. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing! We went for a bottomless brunch and it was such great value for money - we got 3 food dishes and numerous cocktails. Our waiter Rohan was so attentive and everything tasted amazing. Would highly recommend and I’m very sad I don’t live nearby to go more frequently.

My wife invited me to an Afternoon Tea, that she had been given as a birthday gift. The premises was presented well, and the staff were engaging and friendly. They explained the make up of the tea, and the dishes involved, which was pretty much a tasting session of their menu. This was served with a choice of teas, and my wife also had a Prosecco cocktail and I had a cider. Very pleased, although some foods were a little spicier than I would normally choose. Overall a lovely different treat. My only criticism was that it was very noisy, and I do not think it would be a place I would enjoy if it was fuller.

One of our favourite places to eat. Really enjoy this kind of food- wish there were more places like it. Especially like that green sauce you get there. Wife loves the vegan options.

I visited Zindiya for dinner as I was in Birmingham for one night and they are a top 5 Indian restaurant on Time Out. I was warmly welcomed and Lavlesh gave fantastic service helping me navigate the menu and just being all round lovely. The food was amazing; full of flavour and a brilliant selection of street food. They also had a fantastic selection of drinks with craft beer on tap. The place itself has a cool atmosphere. It was quiet when I visited but it was a Sunday night. I suspect if you come on a Friday or Saturday night it will be very lively. Whilst I ate there was a very steady flow of take out orders which says a lot. All in all a fantastic restaurant. I would highly recommend and visit again. Incredibly good value too.

Chicken is definitely not freshly cooked..... It was cold from inside..... Chollai bhaturai were nice because they had to be cooked fresh....rest mostly frozen and re-heated ....you know if you know your food. Do not have their papdi chaat and tandoori chicken...not nice at all..
