Absolutely delicious lunch for Mothers day. Got quite busy, but service was spot on... well done Ali & all of his team. Can't fault this place.

Really good curries, all with individual flavours. Bindi not on the menu but they were very happy to provide it when we asked. I think it will become our go to curry house as the one in Calne is not very good. Good customer service too. They just need to get bottles of tomato juice in stock so I can have a Bloody Mary! Great place.

The Burj offer a lunchtime meal for £15.99 a head so we thought we’d give it a try. (The usual menu is also available but there is so much to chose from on the lunch menu) We started with onion bahjis and a mixed ‘kebab’ plate and they were delicious. The presentation and garnish was amazing. Nexts I had the Burj Special Chicken which had succulent pieces cooked in a creamy gravy with slices of mushroom. My husband had the Chilli Garlic Chicken which came in a thick sauce and was just as delicious. I can’t eat sauces that are too hot but this had the warmth without being overly hot. I’d certainly choose it. We shared a pilau rice and a large garlic naan bread. A few glasses of Cobra beer washed it down perfectly. All the food is freshly cooked to order. The service was exemplary as usual (this being our second visit) and the restaurant very clean and welcoming. There is free parking alongside the restaurant and it’s all on a flat level making it accessible for people with mobility restrictions. The meal came to just over £40 for us both but considering the quality of the food and the size of the portions it was excellent value for money and I can honestly say we did not come out hungry. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you are looking for a high class Indian meal. We will definitely be returning to try more deliciousness from the menu.

The waiter called Deepak was very helpful, to make sure we enjoyed our meal. He was polite even though I'm a bit fussy and ask lots of questions. The 2 course lunchtime menu is good value. Food is presented like fine dining. I couldn't eat it all and they let me take the rest home. Nice countryside pub location on the A4. Had a drive around the historical sites after such as West Kennet Longbarrow and Silbury Hill, so an enjoyable day.

Since their fantastic opening we have been regular returners for restaurants meals (including Christmas Day); take-outs and home deliveries. We have never been disappointed. The quality of the food maintains its high standard and we have now tried dishes from across their extensive menu; tonight I had Mother Chicken for the first time a very rich chiken dish maybe not quite as hot (spicy) as I would personally like but tasty very very tasty! Everying thing is clean and well managed the staff are attentive but not overly so. Congratulations must go to Ali and his team and we will be back to celebrate their first anniversary anprobably several times in between. Keep up the good work.

On arrival I went to the bar area witch i was the only person in there and waited for service after 10 minutes I called out but no one come out after another 10 minutes a member of staff came out and walked out to the car park without even speaking to me then I left the place as it looked like I was not going to get served. The most delicious Indian food we’ve ever eaten. Four of us went for my birthday meal and the choice of food and the quality of our dishes was unbeatable. They don’t skimp on the portions and as for the presentation - wow. The staff were excellent and the restaurant a delight to dine in. Can’t wait to go back and try more deliciousness. First time visit and enjoyed. Have already made reservation for New Years Day 2024. Food of good quality, well presented and plentiful. All reasonably priced. Very attentive staff. Menu very good,not quite Atol Kucher but far better than the average "Indian" menu designed for the brits.

We went for dinner as a table of 5. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, the best part was both our children (aged 4 and 9) enjoyed their meals (korma and chips) just as much as the adults did. The paneer was particularly good. Our 9 year old wanted to write her own review: I think that the food was INCREDIBLE I enjoyed it so much. Thank you.

Fantastic night at the burj. Well looked after by Ali and his team. The food is top end Indian and was given a great recommendation by the waiter. Best Indian in Wiltshire.

What a fantastic meal out on Elvis night! The atmosphere was great fun and the food was exceptional. All the staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We would struggle to go anywhere else because we don’t feel you can better going here. Thank you Ali and all the staff.

Booked for 1930 on a Saturday and the car park was absolutely full, luckily we were getting dropped off. Service was great - the table was almost ready for us (the place was packed) and after a couple of minutes getting our drinks at the bar (good selection of beers including Cobra and Kingfisher but also Madri) we were shown through. Really interesting menu - all the standard curries on there but some excellent and very different specials. I had the Garlic Chilli King Prawns which came with a sticky marinade and a light gravy served on the side, others went for a Jalfrezi and a Dansak both of which were also really great. Couple of sides - really nice Tarka Dahl, and a Sag bhajee which was also great. With a few pints each, starters and pappadums it came to just over £40 a head, so slightly pricier than a standard curry house in town but the food is definitely more sophisticated.

Booked to eat at 1900 at the Burj at the Bell last night. They rang during the day and put us back to 1930 as they were busy, which was fine. We turned up a little early and found the car park full, people parked on the main road and the side road blocked by parking. Luckily after about 15 minutes, someone come out so we grabbed a space. Went into the restaurant and told to “wait at the bar with the others”. Didn’t ask our names to check booking. After a while we asked how long it would be and were told 20 minutes for a table and then at least 45 minutes for the food. We would have been eating at maybe 2100, having booked for 1900. I’m pleased a local business is busy: the food is good and they deserve to be successful. But it would seem they are squeezing too many covers in and totally ignoring bookings. There’s little point booking if it means nothing. Because the food is good I would still go back, but not on a Friday or Saturday. As it happens we had an excellent take away instead from the Indian in Ellendune. The staff were very friendly too and we had an interesting chat about the Quran, which is a subject I am largely ignorant of. #greedyreataurants #burjrestaurant

We chose Marlborough as a good halfway meeting point, travelling from Oxfordshire and Trowbridge respectively. The pub we had chosen only took cash. We therefore drove around the local area looking for somewhere that was open on a Tuesday and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant....

Another absolutely delicious lunchtime meal, 100% quality food and service. My partner and I have eaten here several times...and will most definitely be going back. If you haven't tried this restaurant you really must, you won't be disappointed.

Welcoming Staff accommodated our late booking, despite being busy on a Friday evening. Food was Superb. Possibly the best Indian food that I have tasted. We will visit again soon

Sadly I found the curry tast of chilli which overwhelmed the other spices the chicken was dry and overcooked. The restaurant was clean and tidy the young waiter friendly and polite. I was a little concerned a service charge was taken without being notified or...
