Recientemente cené Tjs bar and grill , un vibrante restaurante que combina sabores tradicionales indios con un toque moderno . El plato destacado de mi comida fue su pollo biriyani y sus parrillas mixtas, una delicia absoluta para cualquiera que aprecia la profundidad de la cocina del norte de la India No solo por la comida, sino por el excelente servicio prestado por su equipo Nuestro servidor estaba bien informado y ofreció excelentes recomendaciones compartiendo detalles sobre los platos y asegurando que se notaran las preferencias dietéticas En general una gran experiencia , muy recomendable

Preciosa comida sin duda la mejor comida callejera india que hemos tenido, a mi familia le encantó allí, el lugar es tan cálido y acogedor, el personal era increíble que no esperamos mucho tiempo para la comida o bebidas, todos vamos a volver definitivamente allí gracias

Recientemente visité este increíble restaurante y bar de comida callejera india, y fue una experiencia fantástica de principio a fin! El ambiente es animado y vibrante, capturando el verdadero espíritu de la cultura de comida callejera india con un toque moderno. La estrella de la comida fue definitivamente el paneer masala de mantequilla — era rico, cremoso y lleno de sabor. La sartén estaba perfectamente cocida, suave y deliciosa, absorbiendo todas las especias de la salsa. Combinado con su naan fresco, fue honestamente uno de los mejores que he tenido! Cada plato que probamos trajo sabores atrevidos y se sintió auténticamente elaborado con ingredientes de alta calidad. Además de la comida increíble, el servicio fue excepcional. El personal era muy atento, amable y genuinamente apasionado por el menú. Ofrecieron excelentes recomendaciones y registraron la cantidad justa para asegurarse de que todo era perfecto. Es raro encontrar un lugar donde el personal sea tan acogedor y conocedor. Ya sea que busque deliciosa comida callejera india, cócteles creativos o simplemente un lugar relajado para relajarse, este restaurante realmente entrega. Sin duda volveré pronto!

La mejor comida callejera india que tuve en Leeds La comida es estilo Punjabi adecuado yo diría que sentir como si estuvieras comiendo en casa. Sin duda visitar de nuevo. Personal muy servicial y educado Servicio muy rápido😋😋😋😋😋😋

On first arrival it wasn’t clear how to enter the restaurant as we had parked in the car park at the back, maybe some signage is needed. We eventually found a door at the back which led through to the restaurant. It was extremely busy and obviously very popular, surely a good sign! There was no greeter and hardly any visible staff other than two behind the bar- it was a bit of a free for all. Eventually we managed to find a table after walking round the place several times and a family said “This table’s free we were just storing our coats on it”- oh right so you’d seen us walk by several times and only just thought oh we better move our coats. The two girls behind the bar were friendly enough (well one of them ignored us and hoped she wouldn’t have to serve us and actually do some work) but the other girl was busy and working hard and happy to help us. She said there was only the two of them working- surely they need more staff?! It was a Saturday night and extremely busy but only two staff serving drinks, taking food orders and bringing food to tables. This place was recommended to us as we love eating at Sheepscar Bar and Grill and were told this is owned by the same people and once we eat at TJs we won’t want to go back to Sheepscar- well that couldn’t be further from the truth! Wouldn’t eat here again if I’m honest- ordered Dal Makhni and it was really watery, not creamy as expected and the Jeera rice was hard and uncooked! Didn’t even eat it as we didn’t want to become ill. The paneer tikka was tasty but was nothing to shout home about. It’s definitely a popular place for drinks but there weren’t many people eating here to be honest. Will definitely be sticking to Sheepscar in future!

We visited here Sunday evening,this place is becoming our second home. Was a DJ playing reggae tunes which I don't mind. Had the poppadoms and onion bhajis to start.The bhajis are so good,with a real kick to them. For mains we both decided to try something new.Partner had home style chicken curry and I ordered chicken saag.With a side of boiled rice and garlic and coriander nan. The homestyle chicken curry was very tasty,think I will order this next time.My chicken saag was good but I found the green colour a bit off putting personally. Excellent friendly attentive service from Esther and her colleague. We will continue to visit this relatively undiscovered gem!.

Visiting family from London - excellent bar with two good pool tables. Made very welcome by the bar manager Esther who is a great ambassador for this place. Didn’t try the food though it was going down well with the locals. Wide range of drinks, atmosphere was excellent and the facilities spotless throughout. Well done.

We are regulars here,pleased to say the food continues to be top notch. Been a couple of times over the past few weeks.Tried a few new dishes.The sizzling platter was lovely,the Amritsar fish is divine.Butter chicken,and Salt n pepper fish tasty too. Always seems to be different staff on each visit but all of them friendly. If you've not been you're missing out!.

Visited Tjs last night for an incredible meal! The whole vibe of this place is so relaxed and fun, we sat under the blossom tree and tried some mouthwatering food! I love that you can choose what spice level to have your food at, something nowhere else does. We tried to sizzling platter, chilli Chinese chicken, paneer makhani and masala chips. We were blown away by the first bite and can’t believe the amount you get for your money! Can’t wait to come back here, it’s just too good!

Amazing food, staff & atmosphere. Was unsure if it was a place for kids but from the minute you walk in the door you can tell it is so family friendly! The food was literally bursting with flavour and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definetley be visiting again xx

WOW, Really cosy vibes, love the decor, booths if you fancy some privacy Amazing selection of drinks to start, cocktails 2 for 1, double spirits for £3.75!!! Can’t go wrong. Good beer selection too!! Food was amazing, we had the sizzling platter and the lamb chops are to die for, For mains we had a butter chicken, chilli chicken and schezwan rice, salt and pepper chips and cheese naan, SO good!!! All so fresh and really tasty. Can’t fault the place. Really friendly staff and always happy to help, defo worth a visit if you’re ever around, a hidden gem in Woodhouse Leeds.

The bar staff at mahout was amazing, especially Scarlett. I am a vegan, and I usually find it hard to eat and drink out. Scarlett helped me by checking all the bottles to see which is suitable and also evey item on the menu. I am very grateful, and because of this i will most definitely be returning 😉 thanks again Scarlett, i know vegans can be annoying haha

Back on track! Can't believe I seem to be the only person reviewing this place.I have no connection,honest guv. We ate here Sunday evening.Not that busy. We ordered Poppadoms and pickles.Tried the sheekh kebab for the first time,they were tasty. Mains Chicken Korma and Chicken noodle stir fry,both gorgeous We've been a few times since our bad experience in June,and always been top notch. Try it,if you've not been!.

Called in here last Sunday evening,place empty.3 guys playing pool and a regular having a drink,and us 2. I've been a big supporter of this bar,and I have no connection with it whatsoever. This visit was a total let down.Only good thing was the lovely server,didn't get her name but tall thin dark haired young lady. Menu has been changed since our last visit and prices slightly increased(understandably). We ordered Poppadoms/Pickles and Pani Puri to start.I did ask if we could have these before mains came out and was told yes no problem. Main courses were Chicken Korma,and Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati rice(no pilau),and a plain naan. Guess what,it all came out together!.The Poppadoms and Pani Puri tasted stale,like they had been sat about.Didn't enjoy pickle tray either. When the mains came out,wow they looked positively radioactive in colour.Chicken seemed to be that horrible prepared type where it's cut in uniform square chunks. Very disappointed with the food this time. Don't know if new chef or just having an off day. Certainly put us off returning again anytime soon sorry to say.

Myself and partner ate here(again) on a Sunday evening recently. We ordered the Poppadoms and pickle tray for 2 to start.These are always lovely.However I would like the opportunity to finish them before main courses are brought out!. Partner had Chicken Korma and I had Railway Lamb curry both excellent with a rice and naan. I was asked if I would like a complementary desert.This was a light sponge type thing with pistachio and milk.It was lovely,but a little sweet for my taste. We will continue to visit here.

So 3 of us ate here Thursday evening to celebrate a friend's Birthday. We ordered Poppadoms to start also the mixed cold chaat platter,and onion bhajis.Never had the chaat before they were probably the highlight for me. For main we had the Feast combo sharing platter with additional chips and Naan breads.This was excellent too. It was our friends first visit here and he loved it. If you have never been try it,you won't be disappointed!.

Another excellent meal here.Ordered food and was told there would be a delay in it coming out,which we weren't too bothered about. Ordered poppadoms and pickles to start.I had Indo-Chinese stir fry chicken noodles which were lovely and packed a punch.Friend had Chicken Tikka with rice. We will continue to support this lovely restaurant.

We ate here this Sunday evening,having visited for the first time a while back. Was quite busy in the pub.A few tables were eating and others just having a drink. We ordered onion bhaji,seekh kebab,chicken tikka masala with naan and chicken korma with pilau rice. I wouldn't say the service is quick,but definitely worth the wait for the food. Good vibe, cheap drinks and the food is absolutely delicious, i ordered the tandoori sharing platter with masala fries and it beat all expectations. The girls who were serving were brilliant, couldn’t fault the service.
