Munch Mania in Leeds

No longer exists unfortunately. Sold on a year ago, the new owners ruined it and now in the hands of the receivers. Such a shame...

I have been going to this little Gem for years but the owners have now changed and it has gone downhill since then, where shall I start, the guy on the counter and phone is very rude, not a clue what goes in any of the dishes, secondly offered me a bottle of water for £1 when I asked for a glass of water, asked for a spicy pasta which was nothing but spicy, called in yesterday in the middle of the day no jacket potatoes🤪 Sad to see.

Avoid this place 🤮 not only did my order come completely wrong the “man” on the phone was so Rude!! Admitted he’d got the order completely wrong but said he wasn’t going to do anything about with a very rude attitude. The food was totally diabolical. The burger I wouldn’t give to a dog 🤮. Don’t waste your money

My brother in law came up just before 8pm. He asked for a panini and the woman said "no, chefs gone" even though online it says 10pm. She said "I'll do you a burger". She charged £4.30 for a burger, no chips. The burger was cheese and onion but the onions were raw and the cheese was just grated cheese placed on top but not melted. The burger was like it had been microwaved. If the chef has gone why was the shop even open? Not great even attempting to serve food when staff obviously don't know how to. Never had a problem like this with the previous owner. Another customer came in and asked for chicken pasta and again she refused and said that she's closing. If this place closes at 8pm they need to update their opening times. I even went online to check food delivery services and foodhub shows that it's accepting deliveries when I checked at 8:30pm. It is a shame because we used them a couple of months ago and their biriyani was lovely.

Ordered as part of a group lunch for takeaway, checked website, confirmed order by phone, went to collect.. Confusion as meal deal for 2 gives 2 mains and two drinks but only a small portion of fries to share. This was checked at collection but still left me to believe everyone would get chips. Sandwich was nice, but pickled jalapeños not fresh and reports of pasta being undercooked. Plenty of other options in the area at similar or better prices.

Munch Mania has the best food in town! I reccomend their steak and chips! Out of this world! Always come here for my uni breaks and they never dissapoint

Food arrived late and almost cold. The chips and mozzarella sticks however weren't done properly. Not as usual as usual is normally ok. No apple crumble but a quick call with offered alternatives and very friendly. Better luck next time 😉

Would like to say a big thank you to the delivery man! They didn’t have a drink in stock but went to a shop to get the drink we asked for! If that ain’t great customer service I don’t know what is!! Always have a great meal! Chicken Biryani, steak and rice, the pannis! Great food! Delivery is always on time!!

So, I had a hankering for a spicy chicken wrap and I was in the area, have been to Munch Mania before and it was so so, so I wasn't expecting great things but was hungry so popped in as its near to where I was doing some work. Ordered a chicken wrap meal and some chicken nachos. the guy who took my order was really pleasant and interested in the work that I was doing in the area. anyhow, food was served fairly quickly, the wrap meal was lovely, really tender chicken and not dry like i've had in the past, the fries were just right and not sodden in oil like i've been having at some of the places in leeds recently. The chicken nachos were crispy and great. I got talking to the manger and it turns out he has just taken over the business, he's got a lot of previous experience working for other places and decided to open his own and, fair play to him, the service and the food were really good, you can tell its been taken over, no offence to the previous guy but you can tell there's a change. Will defo be having my lunch here over the next few weeks as i'm working in the area, and I'll be trying the keema pasta next time!. Defo give this place a try!

The rice and chicken was bland also the chicken had a weird taste to it , the chicken salad was cold and soggy. Delivery driver was pleasant :)

Food 45mins late. No way of contacting the restaurant! Phone line keeps going to message. Driver polite but didn’t know how late the food was! Will never order from here again!

The food was good, and the delivery time was earlier than expected however I ordered a large latte but got a medium hot chocolate, while that wasn't terrible, it wasn't what I wanted so I was pretty dissapointed.

The jacket potatoe was lukewarm and uncooked still hard in places the paninin was tasty the sticky toffee pudding tasted a lot of cinnamon. Not bad could improve

Variety from a takeaway....very refreshing...Lasagne was delicious and spicy too if preferred. Worth a visit....got jacket potatoes too. If you fancy a break from the norm this is your place

Food tasted really good but both paninis weren’t cooked long enough and the cheese hadn’t melted so more like a baguette with filling cold.

ordered food 45 minutes ago through foodbub from this place. takeaway hasn't answered my repeated calls while they have been open. never again

Great food always! A bit obsessed with theire chicken biryani!!

Unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations. The presentation of the food was good but could have tasted much better. Had chicken biryani with chickpeas, which didn't have that biryani flavour. The mix strips with rice was OK but again the rice was a little plain. Finally the chicken panini was the best of the lot and was on par. Other than that, the staffs was friendly, service was fast and the seating area was nice and clean.

Not good food for the 1st time. Pre-ordered food for a later time, but it was made and sent straight away. Called and corrected delivery time, when the food arrived it was cold! Maybe it was a 1-off as the food is usually really good from here!

Great communication. Fast delivery. Food was hot. Really enjoyed the steak and rice. Was worried wouldn't be cooked properly as pregnant but was perfect. Would recommend people try. I have had a few times in passing. Never a problem. And if out of stock they make recommendations.

I was not happy. My steak strips tasted like they were reheated and not fresh, my pasta was watery/ lukewarm and you forgot my cookie dough but when the driver delivered it later it was literally rock solid, I couldn’t break it so I had to throw it.. I’m sorry but so disappointed with my first order

Ate here for the first time today after my sister highly recommended. Amazing customer service, good portions, nice clean cafe. We ordered steak and chips and it was delicious. Will definitely be back again soon to try the rest of the menu!

Where do I start, they accepted my order for delivery then rang me and said collect it as they can’t deliver I told them I can’t collect as I paid for delivery then they asked me to contact just eat for a refund. I rang just eat they said Munch Mania have said they will deliver the order then I rang to confirm with Munch Mania but they said no we can’t deliver then I had to contact Just Eat again and they then rang Munch Mania again and now guess what Munch Mania are saying they won’t cancel the order as it’s already ready. So Just Eat said they would refund me from there behalf and also asked me to leave a review as that would help other customers. Thank you Just Eat for your help and Munch Mania always remember halal earning is a must Haram will come out one way or the other next time if you can’t deliver don’t accept the order it’s not right for £24.

Icecream was never delivered. Phoned to get it redelivered and were told 20 minutes and it just never came. will not he ordering from them again

Ordered onions inside my panini and came without not hard to read the order and get it right, not very hot either.

Ordered again along with a friend, friend ordered the mix pasta, I had the steak which again was amazing, my friend also said the pasta was beautiful! A++++ for this place.

Staff are very welcoming, the food is to die for and the prices are not over the top. The atmosphere is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, Also they allow you to take home what you can not finish. Customer service skills are exceptional.

Really good take away. Ordered a spicy chicken panini and some chips. The panini was a good size, the chicken was nice and the prices were really tasty. The chips were really good too, not soggy. Everything was nice and hot too, my friend said her chicken wrap was really good too. Will definitely be ordering again. Oh and good service too 10/10

pretty disappointed tonight, chips missing from order and plastic wrapper found in the milk shake, usually much better from here.

well below average quality of food. smoothies were mixed with juice and not actual fruit. contents were leaking out of the bag. had a severe stomach ache later. totally unacceptable.

We order from yourselves once a week atleast, and normally we have great service, great food etc. However today was a nightmare, one of the (possibly new?) delivery drivers did not have a clue what was going on. He came to our building, then left, then came back, then left. He kept calling saying he was lost but refused to follow directs and kept putting the phone down on us. We work is a busy office so the fact it was no hassle before worked well, however having to stand out in the cold for 20 minute directing a rude driver is not how I want to spend my break. Plus the food was almost cold when it arrived due to the messing around. If its going to be this much hassle in future then the office will just order elsewhere.

Driver rung me saying he was outside with food. After 20 minutes and a lot of phone calls, the food finally arrived. Obviously it was freezing. Delivery guy needs to speak English and learn to use a satnav if he wants to deliver food properly.

No issues with the food, I specifically requested for my delivery to arrive at a certain time yet was delivered 20 minutes early
