Excellent food I’ve eaten in the restaurant and many takeaways and I’ve enjoyed all of them and I will be returning many times and recommend this too friends n family too enjoy just keep doing what you doing

Wow! This is the best curry I've ever tasted. First time ordering so I was skeptical but definitely wasn't disappointed! Staff was polite on the phone and at the door reasonable price portion sizes are big cannot fault at all! Definitely our new go to place! Thankyou 😁

Worst curry I’ve ever had. Lamb chops just under £6 for 2…one nibble of meat on each! About 6 chips each for a portion and my curry was like a mushroom stroganoff! After two hours wait I was more than annoyed to have spent £50 on nothing that resembled a curry 😳 now parched after a salt overload! Super disappointed

Order never turned up. They said they’d send it out again and it never arrived the second time either. Still no response 2h later and the restaurant number ‘has not been recognised’ so can’t even speak to anyone there.

only downfall was the 2 tiny lamb chops for a portion and they were bland. the curry rice chips garlic naan and shammi were really nice would order again definitely thanks

What can I say about anaya restaurant next to bargain booze Let me start People who know me that I like a good curry and trust me I've had them from all over the world This little restaurant is the best food I've tasted It's not a one off because I've had them 23 times and everyone was perfect The restaurant is clean The staff are amazing and actually listen to what you want and will alter any food to your liking So please give this place a try I know times are hard for everyone but please give them a try The food I got tonight was a chicken balti There is always enough for 2 people

Would of given 5 star the food is excellent but asked for garlic nan the last few times to take away and their has been no garlic with is a shame as we loved their garlic nans so tasty and garlicy

We saw people on facebook talking about how nice it is here. We ordered tonight and they were absolutley right. We ordered a lamb bhuna it was so tasty. Nice fresh chappatis and the chips and rice all good too. We will be ordering from here again. Best place around here

Usually stay away from low volume review takeaways, but delighted to have chosen this one. On time, piping hot, delicious. 100% recommended, will be our regular Indian from now on.

Curry had a really funny taste. Could not eat it . The madras nan was so doughy. Just maybe I wasn’t a fan of that particular curry I ordered

I recently dined at Anaya’s Birstall, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Their service truly enhanced the experience. We started with the onion bhajis, and they were simply fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For our mains, we enjoyed the Deshi and the Mudhoo, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. Each bite was a delight! If you’re looking for outstanding food paired with exceptional service, Anaya’s Birstall is the place to go. We’ll definitely be returning!

The new management has really elevated this places food, service and cleanliness. Anayas is now our weekly indian down at the pub and is always a hit! a dish i would definitely recommend would be the bollywood special. 5 stars all round, dont really write reviews much but a change this drastic has to be appreciated.

Now called Anaya, this was our first visit trying to find our 'go to' Indian restaurant as our usual ones in Bradford had gone downhill. So glad we went here as the food was delicious, especially the bhaji's which were cooked to perfection.Its not licenced (soft drinks only) which did not bother us, but customers are welcome to take their own alcohol. As first timers here, we were looked after by Haroon who is a very smart and courteous young man and helped us with the menu and answered any questions we had.He will be an asset to the business in future The premises are clean and welcoming and the toilets are pristine.The car parking isn't a problem either. We will definately be regulars in future and will be recommending Anaya's to our family and friends.Thank you.

Really really good food! Compliments to the chef it was absolutely excellent. We had a few awkward requests with our dishes and they did everything perfectly. 100% recommend!

Absolutely brilliant!! We got a takeaway from here on Saturday evening and it was lovely, the service was amazing so friendly and helpful as its the first time in getting food from here. We waited outside as it was a hot day and the guy brought it out for us. I don't know who the guy was but he's was amazing. We had the big green car that he brought it out to. So he'll know who he was. He's a credit to you guys.. We'll definitely be back and this time to eat in 😁.. Thank you so much 😁.

Went there a couple of weeks ago when they first opened up as Anaya Restaurant got to say, everything about it seemed fresh, Authentic and a whole lot of goodness. Spent £50 on 4 different curry’s which all tasted exactly the same, no flavour and hardly any meat, all sauce. Poppadoms were microwave poppadoms that you get from the supermarket for £1 a pack. Still left hungry. Expected much better, extremely dissatisfied, would definitely not order from here again.. waste of money. Only positive thing I can say is the delivery was on time and the driver was polite.

Food was over a hour late past it’s delivery time, and £10 for 2 little lamb chops with is jaw dropping and didn’t even get an apology for the delivery time ruined my night the delivery driver was polite tho

We popped in without planning and we were not disappointed. It looks fairly inauspicious from, the outside, small but smart and cosy on the inside. The service was great and so was the food. The menu was quite extensive and interesting. It was difficult to choose from so many options. We'll definitely be coming back.

Seen the place was “under new management” thought i would check it out. I must say the food was delicious enjoyed the whole experience. The place it self was nice and clean, staff showed the upmost respect and hospitality which you very rarely see at many restaurants. Overall amazing experience will be going again.

Been going here for years but this has to be the worst meal we’ve ever had, Ordered a chicken nuggets and chips and received chips swimming in fat and nuggets what have never seen a chicken (vegan) the chips were unbeatable The curry was so bland with no spice at all which we asked for and the garlic Naan was garlic free I’m really disappointed That meal should of never of left the kitchen for delivery the only place that meal needed was to go in the bin, I wouldn’t have served this food to the homeless, I can’t believe it’s gone from so good to this You’ve lost a really good customer

Love this place, had a takeaway last night and as per usual the food was spot on. I recommend you to try it, you will not be disappointed. I have never heard of some of the dishes so I am aiming to try all of them. Love how this is a family run restaurant, with dad cooking, eldest son delivering and youngest son serving. So until next time. Sorry I keep meaning to take a photo everytime I order but I'm so eager to taste the food that I forget lol

I've not eaten here but I did go to the shop next door, as I sat in my car I watched them get a delivery from spices and rice's (Batley curry shop) 🫤 so save your self a few quid and go there and cook it your self.

Chilli Lodge now on Bradford Road, Batley - used to be in Tingley. Booked in advance for a dinner for 19 on Jan 18 and took advantage of their Wednesday night 5-courses-for-£14.95-deal. No drinks licence but Bargain Booze is next door. Everyone was impressed with the food, the service and the value. Hats off to the chef and helpers for coping with so many different orders for starters, mains and sundries from a big menu and getting them all to the table at the same time. Great food, amazing value. Well done Hassan and the back room staff. Recommended.

I ordered a takeaway after I'd been into the restaurant to eat a while back so I thought I'd try there instead. As a chef I totally understand how busy it can get and when you're under pressure it can get frustrating but if the passion isn't there you shouldn't be cooking food full stop. I ordered at 17.46pm I had my food delivered within 30mins, only thing is my order was quite big and it I know how long it takes to cook all that in quick time, I could have waited the extra half hour for a bit of fresh food instead in tasted like yesterday's. The fact I know it was microwaved is terrifying as some parts of my food were cold some parts were hot. It's normally hot as soon as it arrives. Just disappointed I didn't get the same experience as I did when dining there.

Ordered a delivery for the first time, the order was pre ordered and arrived before they were even open (I was shocked but so hungry really plessed). The food was packaged well, red hot and tasted lovely. Would recommend and will use again. Yum yum

Went with family 5 adults 2 children. All food reported perfect staff friendly. No masks or gloves for waiters though which I did not like at all.

We've been here numerous times, and also had takeaways, and the food has always been excellent. There is plenty of space between tables so you aren't practically sat on top of other diners. The staff are always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

First time ordering from here. Delivery on time and really tasty food. Chilli tandoori special and chilli balti are lovely and not swimming in grease like other places I’ve tried. Plenty of side sauces and fresh salad. Will definitely order again.

The owners had taken many measures to ensure customer safety following Covid guidelines. Our first visit but will definitely go again. The food was delicious and the service was great. Very reasonable prices and many menu choices for the next few visits.

Service took awhile had to ask for drinks more than once and the fizzy pop is flat and warm

There were 12 of us for our first visit to this restaurant. All had different starters and mains and it all arrived piping hot and sooo tasty. The staff are all so friendly. We will definitely return. Thank you all for a lovely evening

The meal was nice the staff friendly but the service was slow and social distancing wasnt in operation at all far too many tables. There should be some sort of regulations and inspections

We've tried lots of Indian Restaurant over the years in Leeds, Wakey and Bradford, but Chilli Lodge has the most tasty and flavorful curries of any I've tried and it's always been consistent. The staff are really friendly and do there up most to look after you. The prices are reasonable. It's been amazing value coming here on the eat out to help out, we've visited 2 times and will be sorry we can't eat out more often after this but we will return as we much as we can.

This is the worst place I’ve, and my friends, have eaten EVER. From the car park (do some weeding and remove that burnt out car) to the inside (probably the same decor from its opening 13+ years ago) it wasn’t a good start. ‘Take a seat’ was out greeting, ‘this way now’ ten minutes later. So, now seated at the table and after a further 20 min we are approached, or saying anything he’s just standing there, obviously there to take the order but just standing. Four diet cokes (all flat and warm when they came, poured from a ltr bottle), starters were ordered and then the first main.... Lamb rogan Josh please. We have no lamb for this! Ok, I’ll have the lamb and peppers. No, there is no lamb... fine. I’ll have the chicken then.... food ordered, took 25 min, and it was So bad! One didn’t eat theirs & the rest only ate a little. The staff did come to everyone’s table to inform that the card machine wasn’t working and that we’d have to go to the cash machine, we weren’t happy. No one came to clear our table and we waited 40 min before deciding we’d had enough. We then went to pay for what we had, the manager was kicking off, wouldn’t accept any responsibility for the bad food or service. He also tried over charging to which I was having none of it. I made him add it up in front of us and it was £7 over charged. The night wasn’t over for one of our group as they spent the rest of the night on the loo, STAY AWAY FROM CHICKEN CHAT!

Best Indian restaurant we have visited since moving from East Sussex last year , tried other restaurants but this is our favourite.

Food was amazing. Service was friendly but they we're well over worked with the takeaway, we sat with no drinks and food an hour. Worth the wait though!

I've eaten in many times, and ordered takeaway for the first time last week for the first time, I was not disappointed!! It was just an amazing delivered as eating in. The kids ordered Tika masala and korma... we ordered a lamb dish, all were stunning, we ended up hoping the kids left some!!! Beatifull, best around by far.

Drove past this place almost every day for ten year's! Found it as a takeaway option on just eat. First order was brilliant, ordered a few weeks later, also brilliant. Well presented and incredible flavour combination, Not too oily or heavy. Finally decided to go and sit in for a meal with my wife. So underrated! Very authentic, polite and attentive staff, food was incredible and compared to other places within this area, its fantastic (maybe doing it a disservice) Its a brilliant restaurant irrespective of its location or competition. Been twice recently for take aways and found the food beautiful. Unlike some Indian meals we have had these are not as oily as ones we’ve had elsewhere. Will be using this as our go to takeaway and hope to eat in the restaurant soon which also looks welcoming

Just left the Chilli Lounge and must say am very disappointed with the service. After 45 minutes we had to ask staff to take our food order, eventually someone did. We had the same issue when we ordered drinks. Finally the food arrived and to be honest it was barely worth the wait. We were there 2 hours plus which is ridiculous for a starter and main course. Based on this visit I would not recommend this venue

We went here for our evening meal for a wedding anniversary and I must say the food is to die for, plenty of food, nice big portions and great value for money. One member of staff individually was great, he had glasses on, a young bloke, didn’t quite catch his name but he made our time here with his fun banter and jokes, polite manners and he was very helpful, Very nice man! Will definitely be returning here again. Thank you Chilli lodge!

We visited here for the first time and the food was lovely. It is a bit hidden so was a struggle to find at first. Love the location though, the only reason why I have given very good and not excellent is people were allowed to smoke on the balcony and we were sat next to the window, this is off putting when eating a nice meal and having to endure the smoke! They should have to go downstairs if they want to smoke.

Really shocked at some of the reviews for chilli lodge. It’s my local Indian and I’m a very big curry lover so I know a good curry! The food is always spot on then staff are so lovely and welcoming. It’s quiet a lot of the time but that’s mainly because of the location. I always go with either my partner or friends, the friendly staff and of course the food are the reason I always go back!

My wife and I decided to go for a meal on our anniversary as we have been before with friends and remember it was quite good. Sadly, this visit was not so enjoyable. The restaurant was empty, (around 6.40) but we didn't mind that. To be honest, it just didn't feel like a nice restaurant, no smell of food, a vacuum cleaner on show and poorly/casually dressed staff. (though the young lad who served us was very pleasant). Our main courses weren't bad, a bit dry and not really hot enough. (Looking at some previous reviews, I can't understand why this is still an issue!). The worst part of our evening however was my starter, garlic mushrooms. I could not for my life believe the way they were prepared. I estimated approx one medium to large mushroom CHOPPED, served with fairly thick slices of garlic (which, if I had eaten would have stayed on my breath for a week!), a small portion of lettuce and a slice of tomato. When I spoke to the waiters to say how ridiculous this was, that surely there should be maybe five or six whole mushrooms, maybe in breadcrumbs and tasting of garlic, not sliced/chopped, they simply, and quite flippantly replied, "That's how we do it" and "It's different" The waiter then brought a small container of fresh mushrooms to our table to "prove" the mushrooms used were fresh! As one waiter did so, the more rude one behind the bar thought it a bright idea to finish off a plastic bottle of something and screw up the empty bottle making a loud noise! This place needs a real turnaround, staff training, food quality and service. We will not be going back!

So it looks a bit dodgy when you’re driving in? Anyway our first visit, starters were ok. Main course? Luke warm slop, is the best way to describe the food. I don’t eat Lamb! But I got served it, Never Again

So we decided to go to the chilli lodge for a team feed after rugby on a Sunday night to get the worst service I have ever come across with arrogant servers. Then the food came, there was 24 of us so I did expect it to be stressful for the workers but they we’re just plain rude. The meal it’s self was awful. Portion size was small, some were cold, everything had been rushed which is not what I expect when they are earning nearly £300 from us all. That night many of us fell ill. Will never be going here again what a waste of my money and time to get the service I did.

The food was good but could have been a bit hotter. The waiters were excellent, very attentive and friendly. 7 of us went on a Wednesday evening and we were the only diners there but it’s off the beaten track so maybe that’s why. Good value for money.
