The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Visitamos 4 restaurantes durante la semana del restaurante en enero y este salió en la cima. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa con sabores complejos. Tuvimos poppadums primero y pedimos que empezaran las gambas de coco, que eran muy agradables. Yo tenía el cordero para mi principal y mi amigo tenía el curry de langostinos. La red vino con 2 lados generosos y arroz con setas. El cordero acaba de derretirse en mi boca. Estaba tan sabroso y tenía la cantidad justa de especias. El servicio fue bueno y amable. El interior del restaurante tal vez podría beneficiarse de un poco de atención y las bebidas eran caras. £ 4 para un agua con gas (aunque era una botella grande) y £ 6 . 95 por una Cobra pero sin cargo por servicio. En general fue una visita muy agradable y me quedé muy impresionado con la comida. Sin duda volveremos a probar otros platos.

Beautiful food, very clean and piping hot food. Clean well presented table & food. Very cheap, well range of drinks and warm cosy place to eat. Great staff. Will be back!

Feel instantly at home in the bright and plant/filled space of Darjeeling Express. Exposed ceiling beams and handmade tile accents in muted tones of ochre and saffron enhance the homey vibe. The lunch menu was curated to offer variety without being overwhelming. Choices ranged from starter snacks to full mains. 2 starter highlights-keema toasties were fantastic and Bihar phulki were perfectly sized and fried to crisp perfection without being oily. Great staff and lovely service. Kitchen is exposed and the now famous all female chef team is clearly the true heart of the place!

Food was warm not hot and popadoms were all broken, chicken balti wasn’t like a balti at all no flavor. expensive for food served over 80.00 pound for four meals

Great Food ..service was a little slow .. the takeaways seemed to be flying out the kitchen..I believe a restaurant should prioritize the punters that have bothered to make the journey!! The tables are far too small for 4 people..I would increase the table size slightly. But overall a Good curry was had by All.

Good quality Indian takeaway and sit in serve alcoholic drinks and good selection. I’ve tried a few in Stafford for consistency and this one always comes out top

An excellent little restaurant,very welcoming and very proud of their food and quite rightly so,had a fantastic lunch here on Easter Sunday,very fresh and perfect cooked middle Eastern food,I live very close and will definitely be visiting here again,very lovely ambience too ,what a find

We stopped by for a bit of lunch after being recommend this place ands was not disappointed. We ordered 2 cups of masala tea, chole bhature and paneer kulcha. The food was amazing and came out very quickly after ordering. Will definitely be coming here again and highly recommend.

My partner and I visited on Saturday 19th April for the first time, and will 100% be returning! The service was great, and the food was incredible. I went for the ‘Ped Op Num Phung’ which was a roasted duck dish, and was extremely impressed. I would definitely be returning just for this! My partner went for the ‘Old Delhi Butter Murgh’ and was also extremely impressed. We shared a coconut rice, and each had a naan. I went for the peshwari which was a tad different to usual as it had mango in it, but this was a game changer, delicious! My partner had a keema naan which he also thoroughly enjoyed. The portion sizes were very good, so we definitely did not walk away hungry. The service was fantastic. The staff were all extremely friendly, polite and helpful when deciding what to order. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent takeaway, delivered hot to the door. Bengal bites were so delicious as was the chicken jalfrezi and prices are reasonable too

Restaurante muy agradable con comida muy sabrosa. El personal era servicial y amable y ofrecen opciones veganas / vegetarianas también, que es una ventaja. También disfrutaron de la música que estaban tocando. En general una buena experiencia y volvería de nuevo.

Came in on Wednesday 5/2 for food following a recommendation. Well cobra beer was flat to start with, starter was not bad a grilled panir. The main chicken korai meant to have spice was mild and stacks of onions. It was bland and chewy. No taste to it. I’ll stay away

So out of three meals ordered over the past. . First one arrived cold. Contacted and was offered a discount on the next order. That was great. Ordered picked it up that was a good meal. Sent a message saying thank you it was enjoyable. Didn’t get a reply. Ordered tonight. 40 minute round trip. Items missing. Called to let them know. Response can you come and collect? Well no sorry just had a 40 minute drive. Ok a refund or a credit note. That’s fine but I would have liked all the items I had ordered now ! To enjoy my food. I did get a refund for the items missing. But the point is why wasn’t the order correct? Shame as food is tasty but 3 orders of 2 wrong!

¿Qué puedo decir la perfección de nuevo, el personal impecable, la comida irreal cordero cutlets para morir por , vino extra frío , me encanta este lugar han comido allí múltiples veces y nunca decepcionado altamente lo recomiendo
