The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Visited this restaurant with my Sister and enjoyed a lovely meal. Service and food excellent. Only gripe was the Music was too loud . And genre was not appropriate. Some background Indian music would have been nice. Couldn't have a conversation as just too loud although waiter did turn it down when we asked. Otherwise a great restaurant. Will visit again.

Brilliant and attentive staff, lovely calm atmosphere and the most delicious food with delicate presentation. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I very much look forward to visiting again in the future.

Came for a too good to go bag, which was great value for money and was delicious, but then I stayed to order more food as I couldn’t resist! Everything was fresh and so flavourful. The staff were lovely and friendly also, I will definitely be returning and bringing others to experience here! Thank you

Fantastic service and lovely food

I had hike in the gorge and was lucky enough to get a seat ( booking advisable). The food, service and innovation were a step above. This is one of best Indian restaurants that I have been to and I will come back with my family for a special occasion.

I have been visiting this restaurant for nearly 3 years, I had my 80th birthday celebration here and couldn’t have wished for a better place. quality of food is excellent and has remained so for all that time. The staff are fantastic and they make you feel special, it has got a bit pricey recently but which place hasn’t. Lucky to have a great restaurant in our locality. I normally pick Tamarind Rizzala which is superb.

Honestly best curry place in NW London. I always come here when in this part of London. Chef also is a top guy. Always give recommendations and cares about how the customers find the food

Food is always amazing ! Had the new fish curry 2nite and it was 100% i cant fault it ..kiswar and the staff are happy and attentive , Give it a try guys you wont be dissapointed and dont be scared 2 ask for something off the menu , they aim to please , 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Ordered take away wrong main course when I opened the container was told someone else had been given my main course was nothing they could do nann bread was missing and poppudyms were all broken when complained was told they excepted responsibility and they then hang up the phone not good

We ordered butter chicken, lamb, and tofu curry. All are good but not the best we have. The naan is quite a disappointment; it’s too thick and a bit cold. But the atmosphere and service were really nice.

We love Shantii, we've been eating here for many years. A la carte or the Sunday buffet, the food is always great and they do gluten free chips for my coeliac daughter. Brilliant food and service always
