Namaste Trowbridge in Wiltshire

First takeaway from Namaste. Disappointed. Will stick with Tale Of Spice as nicer tasting butter Chicken and Bombay Aloo and more free accompaniments.

I went with a vegan, someone with a gluten intolerance and someone with a nut allergy, all were catered for, with some dishes being adapted. The staff were incredibly gracious, the food was well priced and the service was great.

Delicious food. Staff were friendly, attentive and could not have been more helpful. Service was quick and price was fair. Would highly recommend visiting here.

Really slow service, 80 minutes after ordering and was suppose to be 30. Famous Indian hospitality (at least everywhere I have been) was not the case here, I was stood waiting for a while with no update until someone totally different came out to tell me the food was not ready yet. Sadly the food was not worth the wait either. The fact that I was apparently out of the delivery area was a bit annoying but given the reviews I thought I'd try this one anyway. The chicken in the madras was so dry and stringy I couldn't eat it. It was overly hot (spicy) for a madras and the flavour overpowered with spice from too many 🌶 in the sauce. Personal preference I prefer a smoother sauce but many of the Indians I've tried over the past 6 months have gone to this thick sauce with allot of things added to it, when the flavour is there and the chicken is cooked right I can get over that somewhat but sadly this was not a good visit and I won't be returning. I would not recommend this restaurant base on this experience.

We absolutely love this restaurant. The quality of the food and excellent service. A group of 4 friends, we all had different dishes, and all were delicious. Would highly recommend.

This is the best Indian I have ever had, the food quality is fantastic and so many levels above the average takeaway. In particular, the Jeera Aloo is perfect, absolutely a 10/10.

Good food, polite staff & very quick service. Our family loved the Butter Paneer Masala, spicy Veg Vindaloo and Dal Tadka. We really like the idea of having a range of different Gravy options with your choice of Veg/Paneer/Protein. Will definitely visit again :)

This has been our go-to "curry house" for several years now and the team have never let us down. Top class every single time. No exceptions. Machan Palak, Garlic Chilli Chicken and Chicken Biryani (with a hot Patia sauce) are all great choices but the Rarra Gosht is a "fave" and often the sauce of a fight on who gets to order it first! Great food from a hard working team.

Thanks those who recommended this restaurant. We stayed overnight in Trowbridge and, with no idea on restaurants, chose this from the reviews. We had the shared starter and that was good. I wanted chutneys with it - which were supplied with no fuss. Mains were good and tasty - nice use of spices. All the food was served piping hot. They made us welcome - chatted and talked to us about the restaurant. Good food - reasonable prices.

Really nice curries. We love their sauces, had Dansak and Pasanda curries. Had Tikka Masala before. Friendly service, the fellow who runs it Rahul is always informative. Good to see Namaste is still in Trowbridge after several years.

Haven't ordered here for a long time, so decided to tonight. How disappointed we were, passanda sauce was a watered down powdered version, tasted nothing like passanda! Not much chicken, and was overcooked anyway and bhajis were a tasteless greasy mess! Will not be ordering from here again!!!!

It's not the first time we've eaten at Namaste, and it won't be the last. A group of six of us really enjoyed the delicious food on offer, and the service was perfect; always wanting to help the customer. If you want a great meal, fantastic service, and brilliant atmosphere. You won't find a better place to enjoy the evening. Highly recommend.

We ordered twice, and we enjoyed each dish! The delivery is fast (we are in Bradford-on-avon), the quantities generous, but above all the flavors are sublime. We tried the starter mix for two (I'm not a fan of the onion bhaji but the rest was delicious), then we had chicken makhan palak and karahi, both were perfect and the chicken so tender and juicy, perfectly cooked. The time before my friend had the butter masala which was also delicious. In the end we are delighted and we will recommend again and again because this Indian restaurant (for delivery) is really great! (We have not tried it indoors) Top: chicken Tikka, garlic naan, and chicken in all dishes Less: the biryani which is totally different from those I have had in India (I had the chance to spend 1 month there last year), it is good but nothing more and too different from my habits.

This is the second time we have ordered a meal from Namaste . One vegetarian meal and one meat , both went down a treat . Got to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Wiltshire……

They forget to give me the Menu. I ordered Chicken biryani and chicken smell so bad ; like rotten fish . Now I am having upset tummy . I always loved Indian food . Only the water taste good .

Their vegan menu is fantastic - vegan or not their channa masala is the best I’ve ever had! I find it best to pick lots of her small plates so you can try lots of dishes thali style. They deliver to Bradford on Avon which is great - and their loyalty system means every year or so I get a free meal, bonus.

We have been here a couple of times recently and will be coming back. Cooking to a high standard and polite and helpful service. Interesting flavours a little out of the usual range. A cut above.

We had an excellent takeaway from Namaste. We put in a very large order when staying with a group of friends in a cottage near Bradford-on-Avon for the weekend. The Namaste team were great, they took the large order, and delivery was prompt, with delicious food, all hot and fresh. There is a great meal deal, which allows you to select the components of your meal from most of the dishes on the menu, which makes it very reasonable. Thanks very much!

Lovely meal, staff looked after us well. Very sweet with our 3 year old too. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Shame it was so quiet - get down there!! Cobra on draft. 👍(Namaste is our take away of choice but this was the first time we sat in)

We have ordered take away from here for the last couple of years and decided we would try the restaurant out. Wow, it was even more exceptional eating in. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant and the food - amazing!

Me and my wife went for dinner, Friday night. Few people in situ, great atmosphere. This is our favourite Indian restaurant. The service is spot and the set menu just perfect for us. Excellent price and awesome service! Love it every time.

Really good take away curries! Great flavours & spice, nice meat, orders have all been correct so far & arrived hot. Set menu price & selection is decent too.

We were a party of five, four vegetarians and a carnivore. Restaurant was empty on arrival but we still decided to take a chance. We had starters, mains and desserts and couldn't find fault with anything. The restaurant is licenced so we could have drinks with our meal. The service as one could expect was attentive but not over the top. People need to go out and support their local restaurants though I appreciate our purses are being squeezed at the moment. Will return again in the future.

Probably the worst curry I have ever had,flavourless and full of frozen veg (which was all we could taste). I was really hungry and looking forward to a takeaway and now I’m just disappointed.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was really nice and well presented. They accommodated smaller portions for our youngest. The salmon could have been fresher, but was still tasty. Reasonably priced. Would recommend and go back when back in the area.

Always good. Delicious, hot and fresh, even on new years’ eve! Chicken passanda made a fab tasty change from usual korma and the naan was soft and not so burnt as I get anywhere else I seem to have Indian food. Appreciated the free poppadom and mango chutney. Where to start! Hair in food, appaling taste, poor excuse of a curry. a shredded and under cooked or filled keema naan, call restaurant to complain, they apologise agree to a refund but i have to contact just eat, so i do, only for then to refuse a refund leaving me out of pocket £30+ lying cheating business!!! STAY AWAY

Currently sitting in this restaurant. Rahul has been extremely helpful and very pleasant. Provided me with Goan chicken tikka that actually wasn't on the menu. The Goan chicken was beautiful, smooth with a good deal of hotness that complimented the dish. We will be back. Thank you.

Went here for the first time and had an excellent meal. We have tried other Indians in Trowbridge but this is without doubt the very best. Everything cooked to your taste and served fresh and hot. Highly recommend and we will be back very soon. Staff were also excellent and very friendly

My favourite trowbridge Indian takeaway & restaurant the best in my opinion in trowbridge & top quality food & a great atmosphere in the namaste restaurant & takeaway too !

The restaurant looks very plain with basic outdated decor, but don't be fooled by appearances. The food was outstanding. Very tasty and full of flavours. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely make another visit.

Just pass by the town and randomly picked this restaurant. The great service is a little surprise. Good food, generous portion, value for money. I like the little detail touch as serving hot plates for main dishes and hot towel at the end.

Good food, quick service, nice staff and good food but not the cleanest of eateries.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered takeaway 2 hours ago with estimated arrival of an hour its now been 2 hours with no update - This restaurant also feels its acceptable to take the phone of the hook so all I have had is "line busy" for the last 30 minutes. I do not recommend and will never be ordering from here again. Terrible service.

Food was hot and tasty. While I dislike service always at the table a bit more care would have been welcomed. By time asked if wanted more drinks, had lost the desire. All 3 ordered rice. As 2 rice delivered to table, requested another rice. 20 minutes later went to kitchen area and asked for rice. Was enough staff to give better service but food was good.

Great service and great flavours! The interior was modern but still cozy enough and with comfortable chairs. I think it's the best curry house for a while but my partner really didn't like the tiny toilet.

Really disappointing. The rice was burnt, the naan was burnt, the sauce was watery and bland. Only reason I’m not giving a 1 star was that the side dishes were decent. Honestly very surprised this place has such good reviews.

Slow service but definitely worth the wait as the food was excellent; very tasty and plentiful. Also very reasonably priced.

The raita was delicious. So refreshing and subtly spiced. Shouldn't really be a hard thing to get wrong from a takeaway really, but it can be more often that not. This one though? Yoghurt was home made and real gentle on the acidity and it was lush! Stands out from the crowd. Or maybe it was a lucky night. lol. nah. the food is always feel good stuff.

As always, food delicious and staff friendly and efficient. They sang Happy Birthday to me which I think was sweet.

One of the best curries I've had in a while.

Without a doubt the best Indian food we have ever had. Consistently delicious, quick delivery, reasonable price and super friendly staff. We wouldn't dream of ever ordering from anywhere else! In fact, my fiancé is looking forward to booking his Stag Do meal there once restaurants can reopen. 10/10 would recommend!

Hugely disappointing! I ordered a vegetable vindaloo. It was a bag of frozen mixed vegetables in a very unspicey sauce . It was an insult to my palette and to Indian cuisine.

Due to Covid we have really missed Namaste food, so it was really good to be back. A group of four of us enjoyed a delicious mix of curries and great service. If your looking for great food at reasonable prices then we would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

Last Night I Ordered some food from Namasthe restaurant ... that’s was really delicious, the Professional Chef’s made a lovely tasty food that I never had with their magical skills in Food Making... I very thankful to them and I highly recommending to All💯% ... 😊🤝🙏🏼

After seeing previous reviews for this restaurant we decided to order a take-away.We were not impressed, it was all just average and over priced , the onion Bhaji was the smallest offering ever and tasted predominantly of salt . ( 3 smaller than a supermarket.... flat lumps ) The lamb was tasty , the chicken ok , but way too much sloppy sauce , that appeared and tasted the same regardless of dish .

During lockdown, we’ve ordered from here a few times. The food always tastes great, they always get our order exactly right and the staff are so friendly too. They also cater easily for vegetarians and vegans! It’s our favourite Indian takeaway and although we have closer ones, they never live up to Namaste!

Ordered for home delivery 3 time’s now during this COVID pandemic. Each time it has arrived on time fresh and hot. The portion sizes are spot on and the flavours are fabulous. We have always ordered a set menu. Really enjoy this food and look forward to visiting the restaurant when things open up.
