Everest Brasserie in Wiltshire

Ordered a takeaway from here this evening the food was cold by the time it was delivered. Chips were hard and dry and the lamb was tough. First and last time ordering from here.

Visiting a friend & we had a delivery on Saturday 19oct. Food finally arrived after delivery driver phones & argued he was at address & couldn't see me (he was not at my address) food was COLD, order to delivery time approx 2 hours

Food is always exquisite. Really good portions and very tasty. 2nd time I've ordered and 2nd order was just as good as the first. There was a confusion and they forgot to deliver the Naan bread with the order, they immediately returned and delivered the bread. I thought this was really excellent service, especially on a busy Saturday night! Highly recommend.

We visited for the first time the other afternoon 5pm. I can’t rate it enough. Food amazing what a choice and plenty of it. So friendly we were so spoiled looking forward to our next visit which will be very soon.

Had one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Went for the Lamb Paradise and my friend had the Chicken Paradise. Spectacular. Would definitely go here again.

Delicious food, excellent service, complimentary liqueurs with our bill and handshakes from the manager when we left. We felt like movie stars. I only booked a table here by chance while passing through Salisbury with some friends but I'm glad I did. Just a shame I don't live nearby!

Great food and service, and all at a very good price too. There is a lot of choice for Asian food in Salisbury, and we'd seen some good reviews for Everest Brasserie so thought we'd try it. It certainly didn't disappoint! Highly recommended.

Staff was very helpfull and always making sure everything was alright. Food was great, great size portion delicious.

We regularly have a takeaway from this restaurant because the service is good and the food quality above average. What they did to rapidly go downhill with mediocre service (just going through the motions) and bland food (how do you burn Nan Bread) will remain unknown since we shall go elsewhere.

Stayed in Salisbury for the evening and drove past this lovely little restaurant the food was lovely the service fab and exceptionally good value we will 100% return thank you for a great evening

A great, friendly, constantly good food and service. Lovely restaurant. Lots of food too. We went of Saturday for a meal which was great. We'd been before on a Sunday lunchtime and a Saturday evening last year. We decided to go out for Monday Madness 50% off food for my husband's birthday. They sang happy birthday and gave him a lovely dessert with Happy Birthday written around the plate and a candle! A lovely extra. He loved it! Thank you.

Food was lovely and clearly had fresh ingredients. The portion size was really good and the lamb was so tender it easily squashed with a fork.yummy Flavours were really good. I had a spicy dish naga lamb and it was perfectly balanced between spice and flavour. The naan bread was really good too and much better than most I've had. Was given a free brandy to all the adults which was a nice touch and very nice indeed . 100% RECOMMEND SERVICE WAS GREAT,FOOD GREAT . If you haven't been then you should go as it really is so good. Also try the gurkha style fried chilli chicken. It's the best dish I normally have it as a starter.it is so yummy I order it everytime

Really nice sized restraunt that was buzzing with life. Food was incredible, I usually order takeaway for delivery but decided to eat out at the restraunt. Butter naan was excellent, chicken naga was very tasty, however this time round my body struggled with the heat so couldn't eat too much, and the sag alloo was extremely tasty. My mate paid for our meal which was a great bonus and made the food taste even better.

The welcome was warm, the good choice, excellent, the food was super tasty and plentiful and service superb. Really friendly, professional and would defo recommend and return. The naan was the best I’ve ever had. I got two salmon fillets in my dish and we got a shot of Cointreau as a thank you at the end of our meal. Look forward to returning.

Lovely food and great place to eat! Generous portions and great service as well. The chicken paradise is perfect for a little heat but not too spicy. If you’re looking for heat, the naga chicken is it.

Difficult to fault this restaurant. We've often had takeaways from Everest but never eaten there, we weren't disappointed! Food was tasty, with a great selection for veggies. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Decent value too. What more could you ask!?

Firstly not an indian restaurant.....love indian food but this is like nothing i have seen before...large messy dishes of food....no resembalnce to original dishes...decor terrible seen better transport cafes....chutneys just weird....all in all not recommended

We decided to order a takeaway last night as a birthday treat. On a previous occasion, we'd been disappointed with a long wait and a missing dish but the food was tasty, so thought we'd give it another try. O.M.G!! what awful service!! We had to wait 1hr 40mins, 3 phone calls (using different phones so they would answer!) to eventually be given cold food with a dish missing. We tried to phone for the missing food but they didn't answer. We won't be using you again Everest, you ruined my birthday.

We came here for a Curry Sunday. A day out with friends. Bearing in mind it was a Sunday lunchtime is was quiet. A warm and friendly welcome, the service was attentive throughout. We started with popadoms and pickles with some ice cold cobra. Starters ordered, onion bajee and chicken tikka. I am allergic to cucumber and it has been a long running joke as 9 times out of 10, despite advising staff of my allergy, starters come out with cucumber as a garnish, on this occasion…. NO cucumber!! Happy days👍. For mains we ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken, Chicken Dhansak, Chicken Madras, Pilau Rice, Mushroom Bajee and Naan Bread. They were served in huge pasta bowls! TBH a massive portion all most too much. The curry’s were all very tasty, well spiced with a fab texture. Mine the Garlic Chilli Chicken was full of garlic, superb. One issue for me, and it’s a personal one, I didn’t like the cutlery especially the knife, found it very awkward to use dropping it twice in my lap. Despite this a lovely curry Sunday, will certainly be back. Thank you!

The best Indian cuisine around! We were staying the night in the area and found this lovely restaurant. We arrived late in the evening and were still provided with exceptional customer service. The manager/owner was extremely welcoming and all staff are very friendly. The food was cooked perfectly with all meat being soft and tender.

Incredible experience. The food was exquisite and authentic Indian. Service was brilliant, putting up with us calling ahead to order the mains. Would highly recommend the Naga - it is as spicy as they say it is! They even gave us some yogurt as we didn't expect it to be as spicy as they claimed.

Best curry I've ever had. Everything we had was just perfect: Curries, rice, naan, sides and starters. Even the drinks were lovely.

Very disappointing. This was our first visit and I was expecting much more given the high reviews. I’ve deducted 3 points for: 1. Poor service, 2. Bland food and 3. Mediocre decor and overly bright lighting which gives it more of a midday cafe feel than a restaurant. We arrived on time for our booking at 7.30pm and had to wait 10 minutes for them to lay our table in a restaurant which was not yet full. It took 3 requests to get tap water and 2 requests for a glass of wine. The food took forever to come. From sitting down to our main courses arriving was 1.5 hours. To be fair, our boys loved their Chicken Korma but my Chicken Shashlik, the Bombay Potatoes and my husband’s Chicken Tikka were the worst we have ever had - very bland and no sizzle on the hot metal plates. What we noticed is that there was a very frequent queue of delivery drivers picking up food via Just Eat- the impression we were left with is that this restaurant cares more for its delivery service than its restaurant customers. Unfortunately, we won’t be going back.

On a fine Saturday evening, we decided to sample somewhere new, a new exploration if you will. Whilst climbing Everest may be one of the hardest feats of human endeavour, a curry at Everest Brasserie is a hard feast. It is not without its challenges, the service was a little slow and we never did get our tap water for the table, however the food - well that was certainly reaching the sky. On food alone, the rating would be high, but with a few missing items, our expedition did take a hit.

Eleven of us went for a friends surprise birthday party. The welcome and friendliness of the staff was brilliant. The popadums and chutneys were served quickly and all were freshly made. We were given some onion bahjis and marinated chicken wings for sample starters which was very welcome as the restaurant was busy and we were getting hungry. The main courses arrived and all of our party enjoyed their choices which of various curries. The prices of the food and drinks are extremely fair and they are good value for money. A great place to try different meal options, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Really recommend a visit

Had probably the worst takeaway ever from here on Sunday. Overcooked Biriyani the texture of baby food and soggy inedible poppadoms and overcooked chicken in another curry dish. Very disappointing waste of money

Delicious food in a nice space. Service was really good and they took care of us when there was a tiny problem. Highly recommended. Need to book in advance for 3 course early bird meal deal, and only for parties of four or less.

Excellent food. We stopped by since we missed our train to London. We had 40 mins and the person at the front desk did a great job in figuring out things that were ready so we didn’t have to wait. Food was the best -perhaps the best food we have eaten in London . Highly recommend this place. Their pappadamas were out of this world and the chutneys were simply delicious.

A good menu with plenty of choice. The early deal looks attractive but is surrounded by strange conditions and extra charges. Drinks competetively priced.

This is one of the best curry houses outside of major cities such as London or Birmingham. Salisbury having a Nepalese military connection has a few curry houses and they are probably all very good. This is standout for its taste, service, consistency and value with many week day offers. Another Indian restaurant is soon to open in Salisbury, the city is spoilt for choice for curry and Thai restaurants and as a consequence the standard is high. Being Nepalese there are their own twists to classic Indian dishes plus their own. The menu is extensive and worth the visit when in Salisbury.

Excellent service with a smile! Starter of calamari was okay but the main course of our Tikka Masala was excellent and really really tasty! Reasonably priced and a nice, clean environment. Would definitely recommend.

An incredible find. Very extensive highly authentic menu of carefully described, subtly spiced, exceptionally well-priced, well-proportioned dishes served in well-lit, airy restaurant. Great welcome from friendly manager and staff. Free parking just outside (at a premium in Salisbury). We consider ourselves spoilt for Indian/Asian restaurants after many years living in Birmingham and then Greenwich, London but the Everest truly surpasses them all for choice, originality and outstanding value. We enjoyed lamb, king prawn and chicken dishes but such were the size of servings we had a take-away at home for the next evening too! Haven't stopped talking about it since. Definitely found our restaurant of choice in Salisbury and plan to return soon both for the City and this fabulous discovery. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Superb Nepalese curries with generous portions

Curry was very mild and very sweet, pilau rice was just place rice with colour. Garlic mushrooms were frozen mushrooms fried, no taste at all

Did takeout on a cold rainy night. The red curry chicken had nice heat, balanced with rich curry and generous chicken chunks. Chicken mango delight was slightly sweet, very yummy. Finished with a Nan that was sweet with coconut. Moderate prices. Totally a great 5* pick. jw, Seattle, USA.

What a great find! Went to Salisbury with 3 friends for beers and a curry Friday 7th April. We normally go to another Indian but thought we would try this place as had read some great reviews on it. We weren’t disappointed, food was amazing and the manager on the day was so helpful with guiding us through the Nepalese/Indian menu. What a great find and will be back for sure on our next visit to Salisbury!!

Tried this place as the reviews looked good, all I can say is that people either have no taste buds or have never eaten Indian food before, That includes the person cooking. Ordered the staple from the menu Jalfrezi and a Pasanda, never have I ever had a Pasanda with tomato in it !! Jalfrezi that tasted more like chicken stew. not sure they know the difference between a Kulcha and Nan as there was no difference between them when they arrived. The icing on the cake being, the rapid emptying of the food from myself within 40 mins of eating it. the one star is for the plastic bag, as it worked well to carry the ghastly contents. If you have no taste buds or would like to spend a few hours in the toilet, this is the place for you.

Out on Friday. Decided to have an early evening curry. Went to a competitor, by the railway - Full. Fair enough, Fridsy n all. Tried here - Fantastic. And so less cramped than the first choice. Really really worth a go. Good value.

We highly rate our visit to Everest this evening. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was very good. The starters and main course were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the garlic chill chicken and my partner his lamb bhuna. The peshwari nan was incredible! Overall a very enjoyable dinner. Thank you Everest.

I was a single walk-in on valentines night, the tables downstairs were busy but not full. After a very short wait I was shown to my table on the top floor and my full order was taken quickly. Poppadoms and (average) chutney arrived promptly with my drink. Then I waited… And waited some more… After over 40 minutes I went and found someone so I could pay for my poppadoms and beer and left. I am sure the food will appear much quicker for other people, but I was disappointed to say the least. Maybe I should just stick to deliveries in the future 🤔 Cheese on toast for dinner tonight I guess.

Our food was delivered cold and 1hr late. Ok it was a Saturday night but poor show I expected more especially as I called and was hold it was already out for delivery and still took them an additional 20 to deliver it.

Unfortunately our experience was not very positive tonight. We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and shown to our table after about 20 minutes. Several staff walked past us and wouldn't make eye contact. Our drink order was taken and was fairly efficient. But half an hour passed and no one came to our table to take our order. I went to the bar and asked for someone to take our order. When our food came out, the breaded prawns were burnt and chewy, the chicken curry was bland and barely luke warm. We had to get up and find someone to order more drinks, the restaurant wasn't overly busy, maybe half full. We asked a waiter for the bill and again 20 minutes later still no sign. We went and paid the bill at the bar. This was our first time eating in the restaurant and I'm sad to say I think it will be the last. We have ordered takeaways several times and it's always been delicious and piping hot.

Lovely meal, but didn't feel cosy atmosphere. Staff attentive. One of our dishes was only warm but they heated it up for us.

Went here for our team Christmas dinner and it was great! Very tasty, plenty of food, easy to book and ordering was very smooth, they were happy to split the bill. They didn't even add a service charge (although obviously we gave a tip)! We basically had the top floor to ourselves to be jolly and enjoy the curries.

Food was good as was the service not sure if we were overcharged £60 I thought was a bit steep for 1 adult and 2 children!!
