The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Great food as always and even fulfilled my extra request in the notes, bang on time as well what more can you ask for 👍

I moved to Cornwall almost 2 yrs ago and I'm bk at my daughters for a week... I cam honestly say I've searched for food down there as good as that from this restaurant.. ut nothing matches it!! best Indian by far! personally think you should relocate to St Austell!! 🤔

Food was ok Samoas looked frozen then deep fried, food a little over priced, £16 odd quid for a lamb tikka is a bit steep. The location of the restaurant is strange and it look a bit tired on the outside and greeted by 2 females hopping of a bus to use the rear of the restaurant as a wild toilet, it came across like a discussed service station. Service was good but was not busy at the time so was one course after another. We only went as it was down the road from the hotel we stayed at, but it appears they rely on passing trade or takeaways more. It was different to our usual Indian back at home. If I was to visit York again I don't think I would return to this restaurant

The food was excellent absolutely amazing the only thing missing was a pickle tray or yogurt for the poppadoms! I had the stuffed chicken and my son had a korma and my wife a veg option. I've eaten curry from many restaurants and this place I can highly recommend.

Just ordered. Very disappointing. Sorry to say that the food was very tasteless. No spice. Just bland on all off our curry's. Will not be recommended or ordering again.

Food is ok, drinks incredibly expensive. 1 small cobra, 1 large cobra, 3 blackcurrant cordial = £19. And we had 2 rounds Decent enough restaurant, but really felt they took a liberty with that price.

Both curries arrived watery and bland with no flavour, garlic naan had very little garlic on. Won’t be ordering again.

Great tasty food and friendly service will definitely use again.

Food was really good. Arrived much earlier than I thought, which was actually better for me.

Best Punjabi veggie Indian authentic and owners really try hard to offer good service. Big portions . Service could be quicker but a small place . Have been again and will continue

After a couple of visits in the restaurant and after a second takeaway tonight, I’m very impressed. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. Recommended.

We visited The Spice on 12/9/24 and were a large group. The service was superb. Very welcoming and friendly throughout. We were made to feel valued. The food was exceptional. Everyone one of our group said their dishes were great. Can't fault the place. Would happily return again.

I recently dined at Bandook and had a great experience. We tried the biryani, Gobi 65, and paneer chili. The biryani was fragrant and well-spiced, while the Gobi 65 was crispy with a nice kick. The paneer chili was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We were hosted by Devi, she was attentive and friendly, enhancing our meal with her great service. Overall, Bandook is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

Great food great staff , little expensive . There’s a deal with starter main course etc which is very nice the mixed starter is lovely
