The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

A fabulous Tandoori restaurant, right on the seafront - great quality food, very polite and timely service, great value. As a visitor to Hastings and St Leonards (and the UK, these days), I was looking for Indian food and stumbled across this gem. Excellent quality Chicken Tilka (it’s clear their tandoor is good and hot - there’s a beautiful crust on the juicy chicken chunks!), excellent lamb curry, and I can only assume their cilantro is locally sourced, because it was super fresh and tasty. Our server was an extremely attentive and pleasant young chap who carefully trod the line between being there when you need him and being there too much with excellent judgment - top marks to that young man, who deserves great credit for his work. The only thing I can say which would improve this place is more customers - they don’t know what they’re missing!

Had a lovely dinner, great choice of interesting appetisers. The staff made some really good recommendations. Shame we don't live in Birmingham else we would be regulars.

My wife and I had an overnight stay in London and this place was directly over the road to our hotel so we went across and I had a sizzling tower burger meal which included chips and a drink for £7 and my wife had a 9 inch create your own pizza again for £7. Food was lovely as we're the staff. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Top job guys. 👍

Llamamos hoy por casualidad, ya que estábamos en la zona y decidimos probar, ya que cada vez que hemos pasado en una tarde se ve lleno, ahora sabemos por qué! El servicio fue la excelente banda, la comida divina. Tenía el almuerzo pollo especial. Comida y servicio excepcional.

Ordered food last night, and I changed my mind, and got something else from another restaurant because It took too long to confirm my order, I wanted to cancel my order and got told to phone the restaurant, they told me that nothing came through for them to be able to cancel it, the just eat app kept saying the restaurant would confirm soon and I couldn’t cancel my order to get my money back, I didn’t receive my order last night, but I have just got a know at the door, at one in the afternoon with my order!Really unhappy about this.

Was always great food quickly prepared with friendly service, shame its gone. Papaya succeeded it which was also nice, thats gone too.

I usually not review and share bad experiences but this was really bad, I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65 and it was such a yuck, biryani was not at all biryani but mixed rice served with dal(lentils and yogurt where they charged me extra for this) tastes less food, do not go there if you do not want to waste your money and eat low standard tasteless food. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best food I have ever had, tastes like I'm back home in india. Been coming to this restaurant for the past 6-7 months and the food is delicious, and also the service is brilliant. Feels like I'm sitting at home when I come to eat here, they always looks after me Definitely recommend, if you haven't been here you're missing out

Excellent for Nashta throughout the week and Mehmood bhai makes very tasty fresh Paratha.

Lovely food and we had the pleasure of watching fireworks from the window which was an added bonus 😊

Easily the best Indian takeaway in Bideford. All the usual fare plus some great chef's specialities (love the Naga curry). Generous portions too. Just make sure that you order direct to benefit from discounts on collection orders or free Bombay potatoes. You don't get those through Just Eat!
