The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Every time we eat Indian cuisine in another city, we compare it to this place. We simply can’t fault the quality of food we get here.

Worst food and worst Restaurant to visit. We ordered Paneer masala curry and butter naan the total was something around 19 pounds but they charged us of 22 pounds. Don’t ever visit this place

Had a takeaway king prawn shazlick yesterday evening. It was fantastic. Really tasty and nice and spicy. Not too hot. Have eaten king prawn shazlick at other Indian restaurants, but none tasted as good as this. Please let me know which chef was on, so when I return for the same King prawn shazlick, I can make sure I order from the same chef. Many thanks. Delicious

Best Indian in Rugby food was outstanding and service was outstanding thanks for another great night will look forward to taking a bigger party in November

Food was decent, lamb bhuna was really nice. However the bindi Chana was bland and you could tell the bindi was frozen. Place itself could do with a makeover.

Absolutely love this place we dine most wkends the food is exceptional always cooked to perfection, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Wow Very impressed. The food and place was excellent. I had the chicken tika, it was the best I have ever had. Rafa ( front and back of the house gaffer) runs a very professional ship. The staff were so polite and helpful and treated you like a valued customer. Ellie, the new member of staff and her first night , was being trained by Rafa and the team. She will do very well, with her polite and professional manner. Use this lovley indian restaurant. You will have a lovely night out.

We felt very welcomed and the service was excellent. Our food didn’t take long to be served and food was very delicious , and was reasonably priced making it very attractive restaurant. I would highly recommend visiting if you’re after high quality Indian food.

This place never fails me to serve up a great Indian meal, pity i can only get here once a year as i live in France. Nice firey jalfrazi for me. As prevoiusly said, retro al la 1970's 80's, here's to next year.

Always a great curry and great service .

Food was delicious but worst waitresses I have ever encountered. No smiles. No coming back to the table to ask if food was OK or if we needed anything else. And just looking angry. I've never seen anyone looking like they hate their job more than these waitresses.

Eaten at this restaurant quite a few times,has always been first class food and friendly , efficient staff until our visit last night,food was as good as always but our meal was spoiled by a' family ' with lots of young children,the adults didn't control their children let them roam about in the restaurant, laying on the floor and playing about with the food trolley,we think the staff should have had a word with them as there were plenty of other diners in the restaurant

It has been awhile since I’ve had Indian food and this restaurant was recommended by friends in Hawaii! Upon entering Manjal we were greeted by the beautiful atmosphere and delightful staff. Though we weren’t that familiar with the items on the menu, our sever explained what each item was and made great suggestions. We weren’t expecting such variety and such incredible tastes of the prawns, naan bread, chicken and lamb. It’s so hard to describe the epicurean feast that we experienced! The food wasn’t too spicy and the spices made everything so delicious and totally enjoyable! We savored every bite and promised that we would return. If there was only one restaurant you had to go to, this is definitely the one. We traveled half way across the planet to enjoy such a great meal and it’s worth it!!! Don’t miss this opportunity to pamper yourself and your tastebuds!!! Mahalos!!
