Excelente! Somos una familia que no suele ir por restaurante indio. Nos quedamos impresionados y disfrutamos totalmente de toda la comida que pedimos. La caña de cordero es excelente y el plato de carne como entrada son los mejores. El personal es atento y de apoyo en la búsqueda de la mejor comida para mi hija que tiene alergia a los frutos secos. Definitivamente volveré.

Absolutamente increíble comida y servicio. El mejor indio que hemos tenido y el 100 % volvería de nuevo! El servicio era excepcional y todo el mundo era tan amable. ¡Teníamos pollo con mantequilla y pollo bhuna con arroz pilau y un ajo y peshwari naan! Gracias por hacer mi cumpleaños especial!

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que comí comida india y este restaurante fue recomendado por amigos en Hawaii! Al entrar en Manjal nos recibió el ambiente hermoso y el personal encantador. Aunque no estábamos familiarizados con los elementos del menú, nuestro servidor nos explicó qué era cada elemento y nos hizo grandes sugerencias. No esperábamos tanta variedad y sabores tan increíbles de las gambas, pan naan, pollo y cordero. ¡Es tan difícil describir la fiesta epicúrea que experimentamos! Visité Manjal por mi cumpleaños, elegido por mi hija, y que gran hallazgo fue. Ubicación en Canary Wharf, justo al lado del río. El restaurante en sí estaba limpio, y el personal nos recibió muy amablemente y era muy educado y atento a nuestras necesidades. La comida era sabrosa y se presentó maravillosamente. En general, fue una gran cena y vale la pena el viaje. Hasta me sorprendió con un pastelito de cumpleaños 🎂

The food was amazing. Very flavourful and delicious. The service was beyond amazing as they went the extra mile to check how we were. Absolutely worst example of customer service - most rudest staff you can imagine that must be working in the hospitality industry. They treat you like sh** (especially if you are brown skinned!). The food was terrible and exorbitantly priced as well. The only good thing about the place is it's a good location. Avoid this restaurant unless you want to ruin your mood and feel very degraded.

In a city that offers a plethora of Indian cuisine this offers an affordable experience. Food was decent but service was very friendly and overall, made it a great experience! Give it a try if you are in that part of town.

Amazing experience, good food and fantastic staff.

I was visiting London for the very first time. I went from Italy to meet my wife who works in London. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. It was around 7.30 in the evening (it was a sunny day). They asked us to finish our dinner early because the person taking care of the table had to go home early. This spoiled my mood, but we decided to stay and enjoy the dinner. I ordered some very common Indian snacks. I was told that those were not available, and we had to choose something else. When I asked that if you have written then it should be there. The waiter got mad at me, literally snatched the menu out of my hand, and asked me to leave where I could find the items I chose. I was astonished and walked out of the restaurant. His poor behavior spoiled the mood of our entire birthday. If I go to London again, I will never choose this substandard restaurant where they don't know how to treat customers.

Excellent food. Try the lamb chops appetizer (with beetroot puree, so good!!). Great, attentive service. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality.

Absolute S** hole !!!!!!! Baddest customer service from the time we moved in. Worst experience ever from servers to manager absolute RUDE and bad customer service, reached at 7.45-7.50 pm and from time we reached they just want to rush kept saying we close at 9 non stop.. ordered poppadoms with drinks and came with mains after 1 hour, all the guys keep coming to our table may be 10 times asking r u ready for mains as we close kitchen , we spoke to staff more than our friends. Too much to write here .. One word AVOID !! NEVER going back.. You want to ruin your evening please go and dine there. Avoid !!!!!!!!! i suggest give that money to a better cause rather than giving to these thieves and ruin your mood… Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/

This spot is just a spot where food is served on the name of fine dine but its tasteless and worth for nothing

We had to see some important clients in Canary Wharf earlier in the week. We booked this restaurant as they expressed a liking for indian food and the location was perfect. We arrived ten minutes early, and the waiter very kindly pointed us to a parking place very near. The restaurant was split into two, with the ground floor serving Italian food and the upstairs serving Indian food. It was modern and clean and was right on the wharf, with expensive yachts parked on the Quay. The menu was very, very extensive, with some dishes I had not heard of before. We ordered a cross-section of vegetarian and meat/chicken dishes. These dishes turned up almost immediately, and none of them were freshly prepared. We got the impression everything was just reheated. None of the food was hot, not even the nan breads or Roti. The service was very amateur, though friendly enough. There were a total of five of us eating. Three of the others shared a bottle of Rioja, one had a beer, and we used three bottles of water. No one wanted a dessert. The food was cheap for the area, but it would have been much better to increase the prices and also the quality. The menu should (in our opinion) be reduced to a manageable length size so that it could all be prepared properly. The total bill was just under £200 and 12.5% service charge was added, making it £222. There were not a lot of clients in either the Indian of Italian parts of the restaurant, though our booking qas early at 6.30pm (leaving at 9pm) When we left we thought what a shame, for such a nicely presented venue, in a unique setting.

Excellent food and service. Staff were very attentive without being overbearing. Prawns on the starter menu were absolutely amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t noisy on the Sunday evening, and the environment is great. Also very pleased with the service. However, very disappointed with very few diary-free options. Normally Indian cuisine offers plenty of dairy free meals. At Manjal, even simple paratha or saag curry had diary in them.

We had a delicious meal at the Loughton venue. We thought the satnav was taking us to completely the wrong place but it is at the end of a retail park! Plenty of parking. Food seems to be cooked to order so be prepared for a bit of a wait, esp if the restaurant is busy. However, well worth the wait. I had paneer bhuna with pilao rice - heavenly! Lots of great choices including dosa and other south indian delights.

Amazing food and great service. You must try the pakora cashew nuts and the Railway lamb curry which weee both excellent.

We have had dinner twice at Manjal (Canary Wharf), and on both the occasions, we were delighted with the delicious food and the outstanding service! You must check out the Southern Railway Lamb curry, Paneer Bhurji, Malabar parathas and the Mango lassi! Mr. Shakeel and his team were outstanding!

Me and my wife booked this allready back in Sweden to be sure to have a table. Location Off the track Down in finance district. But How in earth can they make SO good food 🙏🤷‍♂️ We had lamb in curry and lamb tandori. we went for our 10 year anniversary, they sat us in a quite table away from noise. the waiter explained food so well, i could taste the food before i had even ordered the food. the waiter even gave us a complimentary cake at the end. My family and I ate here well on vacation in London. I had never tried Indian cuisine before, and this was a superb experience. The quality of the food was amazing, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

good spread of Indian food, good service, pleasant ambience. Probably one of the go to place in the Docklands/Wharf area for Indian cuisine.

Service was below par. We went for Iftar and asked for our starters to be given at the time of breaking fast and mains after. They brought our drinks out straightaway (15+mins before Iftar). They asked us 3 times do we want our starters first to which i confirmed yes each time but it still wasn’t given for Iftar. 10mins after we broke our fast there was still no sign of our starters so i asked and they said they’ll be bringing everything together. To which I asked why, there seemed to be confusion amongst the staff. They then served our starters and asked again if they could service the mains straightaway and i said no as we only had 1 of the 4 starters we ordered so far. For the starters i would avoid the garlic king prawns as it wasn’t tasty and Adaraki Lamb chops were decent. But the chilli paneer and Tiranga chicken Tikka was great. Most of our starters were mildly warm (this could be due them holding it back to serve with the mains). The mains - southern railway lamb curry (recommended by the waiter) was not nice at all! I ate 2 bits of it and my partner left it alone. I even told the waiter at the end but still got charged (he saw it was 90% full). Chicken biryani was good and Chicken chettinad was nice and lentils normal. Naan bread and mocktails was great. Probably wont be going back to there. I should mention that I got a 16.5% discount due to a code i took (foodaddict1) and also refused to pay for service charge. Bill was still £100.90.

We had an excellent meal and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The food was brilliant and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be returning to try out more dishes!

SERVICE: We were running late for our reservation and they took the time to get our order before we arrived as they called us to inform us about last orders times etc. When we finally got there, they were so lovely and accommodating. FOOD: I ordered the Railway Curry and my friend got the Prawn Jalfrezi and Garlic Naan; we both got pilau. The food was very good— and this is a lot considering I have my own catering company and can be quite picky about flavours and textures! The portions were great and I even got to take a small amount home, only to absolutely devour it immediately I got in! It was some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Slightly disappointed with the service, the first waiter who tried to serve was so rude as kept interrupting when we had told we will inform once we are ready to order. The 2nd one took the order; after waiting for 20 mins after 1 starter was server, we asked about bhel, was told that he forgot to place the order for that. Very nice restaurant and staff. We had a very nice time just before lockdown. With the “eat out to help out” scheme, we paid only £30 for 2 starters and 2 mains. Was really worth it. I will come back for sure!
