Wow Very impressed. The food and place was excellent. I had the chicken tika, it was the best I have ever had. Rafa ( front and back of the house gaffer) runs a very professional ship. The staff were so polite and helpful and treated you like a valued customer. Ellie, the new member of staff and her first night , was being trained by Rafa and the team. She will do very well, with her polite and professional manner. Use this lovley indian restaurant. You will have a lovely night out.

Perfect curry house. Lovely food and really nice folk. They're really well geared up for allergies and took great care of my girlfriend who is a coeliac. We had an amazing meal. Can't recommend Gate of India enough. 5 star hygiene rating as well 👍🏻

Only order my take aways from here. In my opinion the best indian food in Morley. Food is always tasty. Never disappointed.

This place is amazing, the staff are extremely attentive and super friendly also professional, the restaurant is immaculate and welcoming and the food well its super fresh , tastes impeccable it makes my taste buds water, I can not wait to return and the price is very reasonable

Last month I came across a restaurant name "the gate of India", Which is in Morley.I have ordered their 'sunday feast' from the menu which comes with almost everything,I order 'tawa Lahori' as my main dish with garlic naan bread and also ordered 'murgh fitah' for starter.The curry was fantastic with its aroma covered my surroundings,the meat was so juicy and packed with lots of flavours specially noted cumin.I infused the Garvey with garlic flavour of naan bread and enjoyed every bite and the starter was another master piece of art I never experienced such small baits can be full of flavours

Absolutely incredible food and service at Gate of India! Every time I have been, the food has been out of this world - highly recommended and the staff will do anything for you!

This is easily one of the best places for an Indian in or near Leeds. The food was very tasty, with one of the party members saying it was the best curry they had ever had. The service is exceptional; we were recommended dishes from the servers and none of them disappointed. Would absolutely recommend giving this a try. Will definitely be returning!

worst Indian ive had, very poor portions, rice was awful, naan bread undercooked (very doughy), tandoori mixed grill (if you can call it that) 2 pieces of meat for £13 is outrageous.

I don’t usually post this sort of thing, but just had to say that we’ve been to The Gate of India for dinner this evening and it was superb!! We’ve always known the food is amazing, but they now allow you to take your own drinks!! We took our own wine and beer and halved the bill, they charge a nominal corkage fee, but not worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things. The service is brilliant and everyone is made to feel really welcome. If you haven’t tried it, try it! If you’ve been before, go again! It gets better with every visit.

Excellent value for money with the early bird offer available 5.15pm till 8pm every day....the Peshwari naan bread just WOW! Please don't change the recipe 🙏 Would recommend & thank you 😊

Don’t often leave reviews but this place is my new favourite! Food was piping hot and of such high quality! The chicken just melted, it was the best Bhuna I’ve had in a long time! Will be ordering again!

I love hot food and this was right up my alley lots of flavour just lovely!

I was recommended Gate of India so thought I would give it a try from that personal recommendation. The evening was great, the staff were helpful and curtious. The food was tasty. My only complaint was our eyes were bigger than our stomach and we didn't manage to devour the whole of the large nan. It was so big they hung it off a holder as it was probably bigger than the table. We ordered the veggie starter for two which was a good introduction. The staff asked if we would like to wait a while before bringing the mains. No we said then the table filled with delicious and appetising mains and that nan. Maybe we should have waited. I remember the place previously as a fish n chip provider some time ago now. The current owners have only been there 7 month's and I'm glad it lived up to the recommendation. I'd definitely go back but order a smaller nan next time. It also had a certificate for hygiene on the wall with a top 5 score.

Food was delicious, portions very generous, reasonable price. Enjoyed the vegetarian sharing platter to start and pasander with vegetable rice and an enormous naan

I went there with wife & daughter about a week ago & we were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service & the decor. The food was superb & beautifully prepared and presented & the staff were wonderful.

We were served by the lovely Rafet, his service was impeccable!! The food was gorgeous, me and my boyfriend were so suprised of the pricing of the food especially with the quality we recieved. Honestly DEFINITELY RECCOMENED, to anyone wanting an indian in this area this place was incred !!

A hidden little gem of a place. The A650 road view could put you off but don't let it. We tried it out as it was within walking distance from where we were staying and so glad we did. We had the early bird offer which gave you an extensive range of choices and was excellent value. The staff were polite and attentive and the food was delicious, would definitely recommend.

I've ordered from here a few times over the years and its always been nice, usually I'd ring in an order but Saturday evening I decided to call in as I drove past. Staff were very friendly and apologised for my wait even though I'd only walked in and ordered. Nice little porch to sit in and wait. Food was tasty and a good portion size for the price.

Ordered the mixed kebab, paneer tika, a side of dhal and a side of palak paneer and 2 naans which came with a complimentary popadom and dip, all were absolutely delicious and great value. We chose to collect as we're nearby and the staff we met were all super nice. Highly recommend eating in or out here, thanks.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere, really nice servers and excellent choice of menu! I'd have given the food five stars but they are a little bit heavy with the flavour for me, for example there was just a tad bit too much garlic on the garlic naan, but my partner loved it. Overall , I would recommend the restaurant 😊

It was amazing service and food

We ordered a takeaway from here which came 2 hours late due to them going to the wrong address when the right one was on there. We then phoned and they were rude on the phone with no apology. The food would have been nice if it was warm.

The best Indian by far, 2nd time I’ve used them & now the only 1 I will use. You can taste the flavour of the food & not be overpowered by the spices or lack of them. Only downside is that I asked for a menu but didn’t receive 1

Had a fantastic night out at this wonderful spacious and quality restaurant. I was greeted with enthusiasm by Rony who is an awesome greeter and best front of house experience I had had in any restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very attentive especially Rony. The food was outstanding and I particularly enjoyed the mint sauce which Rony had prepared earlier with his own hands. It was not too minty and was just a perfect accompaniment to my mixed starters. The main cause was also very flavourful and I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. You’ve got to try it to believe it. I will definitely be back perhaps with the family. Thank you team Gate of India for an amazing night out at your restaurant and look forward to my next experience with you.

The food was lovely, a decent portion size and very reasonably priced compared to other takeaways. A couple of naans were missing from the order, but when we rang up they were speedy to resolve and brought two naans out very quickly. The man that delivered the missing food was so apologetic and extremely friendly. We will absolutely be ordering again! :)

Went last Saturday with all my family ♥️…I’ve been twice before and love the place. First visit our food was bland but the last two times has been absolutely gorgeous, really tasty and presented beautifully.

Took 2 hours for a delivery and then it was warm . Ordered at 7 .30 pm arrived after numerous phone calls at 9 30 pm,said he only had 1 driver .no excuses poor service.

The food arrived 25 minutes after the latest estimated delivery time. The food was cold but did taste ok. We ordered 4 meals but only 3 arrived. Rang to complain, was told it would be delivered. It's now one hour later and it still hasn't arrived, which is an absolute joke. I ordered at 7:15, it is now 9:45. Never again. Refund requested.

free poppadoms, ordered meat starter for 2 but no raita came with it. Main meals was just OK, saag also had a strange taste which was very off putting and we didn't eat it. Pashwari nan was fluffy but very dry as there was only a dry sprinkling of dessicated coconut. Meal was delivered on time and piping hot. Sadly not a restaurant for me.

This place used to be really nice, was always our go to for Indian food, but recently the quality and service has really become awful. The food is cold when you collect it, the portion sizes have drastically been reduced. They don't do anything about it when you tell them. Its a shame really because we always liked the food here, however the quality has become really poor. We won't be ordering from them again, we will be looking for another place to get Indian food from in future.

Very poor, booked a table for 6,30pm for 9 people Saturday evening. On arrival offered table for 8 people. Offered table upstairs which was ok. Having ordered ,seemed to have been forgotten. My son who has been before commented normally good service but on this occasion was diabolical. Had to prompt waiters about food. 1 hour and half and only had starter. Food was excellent but by the time it came the night was ruined. Did knock a bit off bill but it wasn't about money.

Order regular via the FoodHub app. Food is always quality, hot and delivered within an hour. I’ve never actually been to the restaurant but will soon to check out their Sunday buffet.

Our second visit to this restaurant. Group of 8 in Leeds for the football. 8 of us all had different meals and all of us agreed that the food was excellent. Such great flavours and well presented. Staff were really good. Highly recommend this place. We stayed in the Village Hotel which is a short walk away. We'd heard that the restaurant was being sold but we're pleased to hear that's no longer the case.

Not great , busy with doing takeaways and less service to the diners , felt rushed even though only 2 tables including us were occupied

I went tonight with my daughter as she’s off to travel and wanted a nice meal. 1st meal was tasteless 2nd meal was full of old grease 3rd meal made me as sick of a dog Don’t visit this place it’s disgusting !! Travel into Morley town centre for a decent curry or 7 miles down road there’s BEST CURRYS IN COUNTRY IN BRADFORD Customer service skills - Nill I’ll be spreading the word how bad this place is 🤢.

Just had the chicken Ticka Massala, What a massive disappointment! It was literally a red sloppy chicken korma, Full of coconut, Asked for medium spice, It had none. RUBBISH.

Always great food and now deliver to Birstall. Always very tasty, good value, always recommend to family/friends. Love the Chicken Rajistani.
