Nice find lovely tasty dish unlike anything I have had before. Not licenced though make sure to take your own drinks. Parking up street to left of restaurant.

I visited this restaurant for takeout and tried their garlic chilli balti, which was really good. I also ordered chapatis, and they were a generous portion with great taste. The guy at the reception was friendly and chatty, making the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot for tasty food and great service.

gone down hill quality wise.. Still nice but not what you expect from these.. chips were cheap frozen fries. kebab isn't as good as it use to be. curry had a very nice taste but barely any meat in it. poor compared to a year ago but still not the worst I've eaten

I have tried 5 times this evening to spend 25.00£ on dinner by ordering on-line and collecting it on my way home. My order was refused each time for a variety of reasons. Had similar problems a year ago and they said they were working to fix the issue. Obviously not. There are three other take aways within a 300 foot radius. I guess they'll get my money from now on.

Absolutely awful curry the chicken balti was the sweetest I've ever had and it was not nice. Never had a balti sweet before I couldn't eat it. Chapatis were not the best either dry. The mixed starter was the only thing Edale. Defo going to stick to my usual in Garforth.

Our friends live in the area so they suggested we go there for a meal. We all had a lovely meal. Food tasted fresh and flavoursome. What I liked the most, was the fact ( in comparison to other currys we had) these ones, didn’t “swim” in oil. Usually, you see the oil on top of your food and it’s off putting. I would defo go back. Ohhh and be careful!!! The Ali special is really hot!!! Ask the waiter to explain!

food was great and delivered on time, only complaint was that the omelette was missing the chips. won't stop me ordering again though !!

Food really nice from here. But placed an order last week which they decided to cancel an hour after me ordering. I rang them (they should have rang me) and they told me I live too far away and the minimum order needs to be £20 despite just eat saying its £16 and their own website saying £12. If that's the policy then change it, and communicate with your customers instead of allowing them to wait an hour for food and then cancelling. I live 4 miles away, not sure why £2 isn't enough for delivery.

The onion bhaji were over cooked or reheated and the tikka masala chicken taste old and sauce bitty.

I've seen this restaurant for over 20yrs. Friends and family went few years ago and really enjoyed. Saw it on just eat for takeaway, so we ordered several items (chicken pakora, sizzling platter & other bits) everything was bland, burnt batter yet cold. FIRST ORDER & NEVER AGAIN. P.s. Before I could post I had to choose options saying attended, as no option for takeaway.

Food was cold , took 1 hr 15 mins and meat was not cooked properly watery sauce ! So disappointing as always had good food previously ! Not a fussy person at all but this had to go in the bin !

i live within the area and have been trying local take aways, however, i will never ever order from here again! The chicken tikka razala was dry and bland..no spice whatsoever and the chicken seemed to lack tikka! The mushroom pilau was slimy and again bland. The mix kebab starter was tiny, a micro onion bhaji, a seekh kebab no bigger than my index finger and tasteless, and a micro pakora covered in red food dye and again tasteless --these seem to be of the same non quality as a "party platter" from Iceland!!! All in all a very disappointing meal, i suggset you try other indian take aways within this area as all are far more superior.

the food was incredibly bland and dry and hardly any spice to it, compared with other indian take away food i have tried. The special mix kebab starter was pathetic and small - not worth £4-45! ......it's a big NO from me!

Razala was bland dry and no hint of spice, mushroom pilau slimy, mix kebab starter tiny and soggy!

I didn't eat in, I took away. So can't really review the atmosphere, but the food was so tasty! I ordered a madras, chips, pakoras and chapatis. Honestly couldn't recommend it enough. Pakoras were slightly soggy, but I only think that's due to them sat while I was driving home. Great price too!!! Definitely recommend!

Food was OK. Chapattis were almost stale once we started eating. Rice was barely warm Just eat estimated delivery was 35-50mins. Once ordered it changed to 50-65mins. Actually arrived after an hour and half. Wasn't worth the wait

I am a fussy eater & had almost given up on Indian takeaways after trying many and they were rubbish but this food was hot, well flavoured and the chicken quality

Visited with a group of 18. Booked in advance. Was a great night. Food was good, staff very welcoming and all at a decent price. We'll use again for sure.

It's been good for me in the past and the price is about standard, but the food hygiene rating as of last year was a 1 out of 5. That's pretty bad. Working as a chef myself and understanding what systems should be in place to get a 4 or 5 rating, it shouldn't be difficult to maintain this to a above average standard. People's health and lives can be put at risk if things like food storage, labeling and cleanliness aren't kept to the highest standard. A rating of 1, suggests a serious lack of standards and I can only imigine what type of food was produced on the day of that visit. I sadly wouldn't feel comfortable dining or ordering here unless it obtained a 5.

So my 3rd time of ordering I am very disappointed both curries lacking flavour and spice both taste same such a Massive waste of money. Total disappointment. Put me off ordering tbh.

Absolutely delicious, could not find a single fault

Food was cold when delivered. Received a txt saying food was on its way but it arrive for another 25mins. The takeaway is only 5 mins from Shere we live!!! The food was cold. A shame as the good itself is usually very nice.

We had starters and mains, all food was amazing AND I forgot about sundries such as rice or naan and so they rung me to ask me if I wanted any! Fantastic service, and authentic and delicious food.

I've never had a takeaway delivered where the food was so fresh and hot. Best takeaway I have had in ages, defo be going back.

There was an issue with the order being processed but the restaurant rang immediately to resolve the issue. Great service & delivered bang on time.

Great meal, Tikka Chicken, Beef Marsala, garlic nans finished off with ice cream very nice indeed, BYO no corking charge, great value for money, will definately go again when im in Kippax.

They gave themselves over an hour as a delivery time and they were still late. The food was dry and chewy, i dint not taste fresh, although the salad was fresh.

Placed order and was advised of delivery window - received message to say this was going to be later but then still waited a further 35 minutes after the second delivery window times - I appreciate it is New Years but didn’t receive further updates only requested to rate my food - was ok but was tepid abs certainly not worth the 2 and half hour wait

We went as a family for our Christmas Dinner for the first time, it won't be the last time the meal offered was the set meal well worth it ,the atmosphere was great thank you Bill and your team for a great day

Food was cold and the sides were missing from the order so couldn’t eat the curry’s , order was wasted , staff were rude and told us to just contact just eat or wait 45 mins for the order remaking , kids had already waited almost an hour for the first delivery , really not happy

Top quality food and service, the Maharaja Curry Club have eaten at all the curry houses in the area in 2021 and this place is hot favourite to be voted as Maharaja Curry Club (MCC) Restaurant of the year so far!

Our monthly curry club took us to Kippax tonight and a visit to the Sylhety Balti. After last months very disappointing visit to Zoya in Woodlesford the boys were hoping for a better experience tonight, and Sylhety and their staff certainly delivered. We look for two important values in our visits, great service and decent food and both were met admirably, in fact the service was Brilliant and food was superb. It now sits 2nd on our list only topped by the superb Masala Hut in Cross Gates, bearing in mind the list is now upto 10 it's no mean feat. Give it a go you shouldn't be disappointed and u can take your own booze which cuts the bill down dramatically!

Absolutely could not have asked for better. I’ve been to McDonald’s and served slower than here. Waiter was very accommodating, food was utterly gorgeous and only cost us £30 odd for a seriously large amount of food. Top top top quality

The madras looked like it wasn't fresh and was a microwavable one. The estimated time was an hour 15 minutes after I order it and it was still 15mins late. I live 5 minutes away

No problem with lateness as we were informed - food beautiful, hot and plenty of it 100% as usual - tastiness Indian I have used - highly recommend

Got are order wrong ,dish should have been lamb and got chicken .Telephoned Resturant totally not interested no apology at all ,they had written the order down wrong customer service nil .Will not use again .My dish was also very disappointing.In these Covid times l would expect more .My husband has also just informed me not wearing a mask .
