The laal mass was good. Fish curry was fine though I felt they had used frozen fish. The malabari parathas were really bad. They were very hard. That was frozen too and over heated so when it got cold, it became hard. The vodka mango lassi was good. The fried okra was a hit. We came here with a large group of lads (11 in total) and had a fantastic meal. By our own screw up mistakenly thought the table d'hôte menu was more wildly available than it but Swapnali took it in her stride and provided a full 3 course meal for the whole group purely on recommendations with some steer from the group. Saved us probably 30 minutes of hassle, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and we barely needed to look at the menu. Every dish was excellent and as one of the non-drinkers in the group I particularly enjoyed the special lime soda they had as an option, always appreciated when it's not just coke and lemonade for soft drinks on the menu.

If you are wanting a step up from the traditional curry house, this is the place to go! Honestly so yum, portion sizes were massive. Will definitely be returning

So good. Service, from start to finish was exceptional. Sunish made sure we had all we needed and asked us if we needed anything at the right time, not too much, not too little.... I ordered way too much to be fair but I kinda couldn't help myself, it was a so lovely. Paani Puri were like explosions of flavour, Chilli Paneer was spot on. Konkan Prawn Curry is recommended, very good. Will be going back for more.

We come here often as it’s our favourite Indian restaurant! We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all fantastic. They boost a very impressive cocktail menu too!

I came here on my birthday and normally the food is decent. But today the pepsi tasted awful . The schezwan noodles were very sweet and when we asked that it should be abit spicy and they made it very spicy and no salt at all. The dhaba style chicken was nice and delicious. The was very basic even though we come regularly every month.

I got the fish curry and mint naan and a blueberry lemonade soft tail. The curry was OK, and drink was a refreshing alternative to a mock tail. I came during a weekday and so I was the only customer there, a sneaky service charge was added to my bill, so I will not be returning back.

The food is good, but the customer service seriously needs improvement. The manager lacks basic respect and professionalism when dealing with customers, often displaying poor behavior not just toward guests, but also staff. When a complaint is raised, they don't know how to handle it properly or resolve the issue. It's disappointing, because the quality of the food could make this place great—if only they paid more attention to treating customers with courtesy and care.

needs to fix the torn cushions and food quality went down since last visit

Yesterday I came with my friends tried their nalli nihari and tanjoure chicken . Food was okay but the customer service was really bad. They forgot to serve our dessert and gave our bill including it. On top of it the drink they served us , raspberry in it had mould . The girl with specs don’t know her name who served us was very annoyed for some reason and she was kind of racist though she comes from same culture I come from. Will never come again here

The first thing that struck us about the Indian Tiffin Room was the overpowering floral scent, and it wasn't from fresh flowers. The scent was most unpleasant and I don't know why it would be necessary, since the aroma from herbs and spices in this kind of establishment is usually enticing. The second thing that struck us, was the strange noises that seemed to eminate from the sound system. We had no idea what they were or what they brought to the atmosphere. That said, the food was good and the service friendly. The prices are reasonable and there was a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Had a fabulous experience thanks to Swapnali and Akash. Their service was 10/10 fast polite no issues at all service with smile helped us out with menu. New exactly what everything was excellent members off staff thank you for making the experience great. The resteraunt was beautiful and surprising open aswell. Food was 10/10 thank you chef. I really can't remember what I was recommended and got but we got one chicken dish and one lamb I tasted both and omg wow. Excellent menu aswell.

We frequently visit Indian Tiffin Room, and this time, the experience was even better than our previous visit! We had the Masala Dosa and Chole Puri, and both were absolutely delicious—full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The food quality and taste have improved, making this visit even more enjoyable. The ambiance remains warm and inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the positive experience. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places for authentic Indian cuisine in Leeds city centre! Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back again.

A repeat visit to this great restaurant, well probably my fourth, but who is counting. This place offers dishes other Asian restaurants don't. The starter choices are brilliant and super tasty. Tonight's main was the railway lamb dish with dal rice and rotis. Very nice indeed.

El restaurante es elegante, muy limpio y bien decorado. No es su restaurante indio habitual, pero muy bueno. No es un menú masivo con un montón de currys diferentes, etc, pero lo suficiente para elegir. El personal era muy amable y servicial y nunca nos apresuraron de principio a fin. Muy limpio e impecable. Bien vale la pena una visita y volveremos.

Good service, really great food however the table was quite small, and because it was full to capacity we were seated in a small corner which was quite a tight squeeze. Also, because it was so packed and the restaurant is small, it was rather noisy making it difficult to hold a conversation even across the tiny table. I would go again but it would have to be on a less busy night

The team was incredibly kind, well-organized, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They even created personalized name cards for everyone with their selected menus, which was such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant accommodated various dietary requirements and allergens with ease, making sure everyone felt included and well taken care of. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the food—absolutely delicious! From start to finish, the hospitality was top-notch. Great meal here yesterday. Very attentive staff. The girl who served us was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend something to our taste. Hard to find a good dosa around but the one I had here was exceptional!

Very poor food hygiene. Ordered chilli chicken and hakka noodles. I was shocked to see a hair in the food as soon as I opened the chicken box. It completely killed my appetite and all the food went straight to the bin. Would never order from Indian Tiffin room again.

Sunish was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the menu and was very attentive to our table. What a star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was very tasty and bursting with flavour. 10/10 would definitely return.

First of all the service and hospitality were so bad, the girl who took our order was literally short tempered and started raising her voice while asking for dishes, and the other factor is they charge 85p for hot drinking water in a small glass and that doesnt comes in the bill. The way she took our order was so inappropriate and she even rolled and made faces because there were noise coming from the customers behind her ( if she isnt ready to tolerate the joyful moments of the customers (family members) then she shouldnt be working as a waitress). They said its schezwan noodles and that tasted like its been loaded with black pepper and when we asked about what type of sauce fo you use and they said we dont use any sauce, which means its a fake name and there is no schezwan sauce used for schezwan noodles, and the manager came and he said he will replace it and bought us another plate of noodles without even drying the excess water from the noodles. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE TASTE.

El plato también era bastante chile - picante, lo que se sumó a la decepción. En general, me pareció que la comida en Indian Tiffin era promedio y no de mi agrado. No tendría prisa por regresar. El servicio fue decente, aunque hubo un par de momentos en los que la camarera puso los ojos en mi hermana (que ciertamente puede ser un poco grosero). Sin embargo, ella fue perfectamente educada conmigo. En general está bien si te gusta la comida del sur de la India, pero la iluminación tenue hizo que la lectura del menú sea difícil.

Went few days back to try the mouth watering thali. It was only for 10 pounds (offer valid till 31st December, 2024) It was really nice We got 2 fryums, raita, salad, white rice, palak paneer, dal makhni, aloo mattar and puri. For its value, it’s a total steal deal, would recommend!

My go-to place to eat. The food tastes incredible (the price is affordable too) and the service is always great. I always recommend this place to friends and family.

I visited this restaurant and was asked if I had a reservation. When I said no, one staff member laughed and said "Good" in a mocking tone, without further explanation. The interaction was rude and unprofessional, making me feel unwelcome. I won't be returning.

I tried the 10£ offer , the meal contains small portions of rice, lintel soup, Bombi potato , butter chicken and a drink It was very tasty. The service was great But I didn’t like the smell of the place!

Enjoyed a nice meal here. Only had a main course very tasty. I went for the King Prawn curry, something different, nice flavours and a good bit of heat. Portion sizes were good and lovely soft Garlic Naan bread.

A great little find in central Leeds. Starters We shared samosas and chilli paneer starters - both had rich flavours and large portions The mains were the December special, which were small portions of curry , bombay potatoes, Dhal, and rice plus a chapati . All were of a high quality with good size portions and great value for money. The service was great really attentive and friendly Overall a lovely lunch spot

Alors que mon amie est moi exprimions une intense volonté de retrouver les saveurs riches et excentriques de la cuisine indienne découvertes lors d'un voyage en Inde, le vent nous mena aux portes de l'Indian Tiffin Room. C'est sans déception que nous avons savouré une multitudes de mets exquis, cela dit peut-être trop relevés pour certains, à qui la main lourde du chef sur le piment ne jouait pas particulièrement en leur faveur. Cet excédent, que je préfère appeler générosité, fut compenser par l'extrême convivialité du serveur avec qui nous avons pu converser en hindi et qui n'a pas hésité à nous offrir un dessert. Une expérience gustative et humaine des plus plaisantes.

Went in for a meal with my wife and a friend to celebrate her birthday. Absolutely enjoyed the meal from start to finish 👌. Our friend was vegan and was offered a vegan menu and was very impressed. Thoroughly enjoyed my chicken dish full of flavour, struggled to eat it all but I did but glad I did.... Certainly will be back.

We visited here as part of Yorkshire Appetite Food Tour which we did as a couple. The tour visits four Indian restaurants in the city centre and the Tiffin Rooms was the first stop. It was absolutely brilliant and we will definitely be returning for a full meal very soon. We had a fabulous vegetable samosa with two different dips as well as a very yummy sweet lime and ginger drink.

Visited with family, party of 7. We were taken great care of by the staff. We put ourselves in their hands for starters, which were absolutely amazing! The main courses were generous and extremely tasty. Lovely atmosphere and service. We will definitely return.

Very nice atmosphere Sunish served me lamb keema kaati roll with sweet potato fries. The Tarragon mocktail was very nice. Definitely will return in near future.

Great food but spoiled by the poor service. Firstly the waitress constantly tried to upsell us drinks and food, then immediately asked us to leave as soon as we'd finished paying the bill. Not a very relaxing experience.

Went for dinner with friends , ordered Madurai Mysore masala dosa and Vegetable fried Rice.. the rice was spicy and delicious. Dosa was crispy and soft at the same time. Coconut chutney and other onion tomato chutney was very well made , even the potato stuffing was delicious. But best thing was sambar.. it was awesome.. Worth the time and money.. even the quantity of food is very good... Highly recommended for someone looking for great taste with quality..

Food was good, has a wide selection of street food dishes and some more common Indian meals. The service was very unprofessional, the waitress serving us handled our pani puri starter to ‘show us’ how to eat it without first asking. She told us in a rude way that one of dishes was spicy even though we had clearly read the menu , almost acting because we were white that we wouldn’t like it. Finally the most unprofessional and rude act was to hand us our desserts and then put the spoons in the desserts themselves rather than hand them to us separately. This type of rudest was only felt from this particular waitress all others were fine. There was also a 40 minute wait for our mains after finishing our starters. We had ordered our mains at the same time as the starters and after a few dirty looks to the staff, one came over saying our food won’t be long. Another 10 mins past and now she comes over to say the dosas were the issue which I find very hard to believe considering it is one of the main items on the menu. Eventually the food game after about 50 minutes. Overall an average Indian restaurant but in the night the service let it down. If you would like me to identify the rude waitress in question I would be happy to.

Friendly and attentive staff. Made to feel welcome as soon as we entered. The waiter was very helpful and explained the menu to us. Starters were delicious and came out quick. The mains were delicious and well presented. All in all it was an excellent dining experience. I only took one picture and that was if the colourful crisps we had for our starter.

As an Indian the food isn’t authentic as there’s not much spices and the quantity and quality was quite disappointing for the price (or maybe I was expecting a lot). The staff was really good and helpful since they offered to change the dishes and provide another fresh ones. Overall the food wasn’t satisfactory at all as an Indian, it was overly priced as well but the service was really good.

Served by the wonderful Princilla and co, we were treated to a fragrant and tasty birianis. The dish was in pricier end of the menu (compared to biriani huts in London), but you get plenty of it, and plenty of meat. The setting was equally for a tiffin restaurant.

Staters good, mains was ok. Service by the young lady very poor, made our evening unpleasant. few drop of water fell on platter while filling glass, when waitress was clearing table she made comments on that, and pulling 😳. But when she cleared plates and cutlery, rice dropped on my sons lap, that was OK 👍 no apology .

I had been today evening to ITR. I ordered a ITR Mysore Masala Dosa. The chutney, sambar and potato masala inside Dosa all were OLD. It tasted like contaminated food. Very disappointed with the QUALITY of the food. I would NOT RECOMMEND ITR for Quality Indian Food.

Food was very average. Not very flavoursome which is a shame as they have quite a few curries I've not seen before. They don't do Tiffin boxes, like other restaurants do, which is bizarre given the name. Service was efficient and friendly.
