The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

We were 5 of us , came here for dinner for our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was just so authentic and tasty but what was lovely was … it was all so well presented. The service from the staff is second to none. They go out of their way to make it special . It was very busy but we knew the food was freshly prepared so waiting abit longer munching on pappdoms and chatting was fine for us. Will highly recommend but must book as they are getting very popular . 100% yes Thank you 🙏🏼

Some confusion caused by review of Stephen B of 3rd March but it was plain when I came by yesterday 17.10 .19 it was all locked, dark and plainly had not reopened or showing any signs of doing so.

Absolutely great food and great staff especially younus top mate

We went on a Tuesday for their starter,main and rice/naan for £17 deal. Good food and very attentive waiters despite the place being full (clearly the deal attracts custom). The atmosphere was friendly, with a bit of a buzz but not too noisy. Recommended.

We went in for a quick bite to eat as we had an appointment elsewhere to get to. Although the senior member of staff allowed me to order a side dish with naan, he wouldn't let my companion do the same, insisting that she order a full meal. Unfortunately most of the food was left as we didn't have time to eat it. The food was also of poor quality and had no flavour. We felt intimidated and jumpy while we were there as the guy was so rude and intimidating. Definitely won't go again. Have to say that the younger members of staff were lovely

Amazing selection of curries. Lots of vegan options. Really delicious food and a great chill vibe. Service was great too.

The staff are lovely, the place is clean. The onion bhaji were fantastic. But what let the whole thing down was the tandoori mix grill, it’s supposed to be cooked in a tandoor oven and have nice colour and flavour, but it’s was like boiled meat, no flavour or colour, lack of seasoning. The tikka madras was so spicy but no flavour, again lack of seasoning. The ingredients were good quality. Wouldn’t get again. Wasn’t worth the money.

Just came across this place looking for something to eat. Wow, what a find. The food was excellent with a good service. Very reasonable price.

Meal was over priced and very average. All of the dishes were extremely red and did not appear to be particularly authentic.

Absolutely delicious meal. Served by great staff in a cozy setting. There’s a lot of Indian restaurants in Rayleigh. I highly recommend this one.

Great hospitality, extremely attentive staff. Very good food. Don’t forget to take own alcohol. Very busy establishment, full by 1930 and constant stream of takeaways too.
