Zayka in Ealing

I have been eating at Zayka for 15 years since Ben and Barb first brought me in 2009. Since then we have had the pleasure of sharing this gem of a restaurant with our closest family and friends. There was a time when we were eating there every week until we moved away. Happy to see they are thriving, serving the same delicious food, with genuinely kind service and a lovely atmosphere. You cannot go wrong at Zayka. See you soon!

I’ve been coming here for almost two decades now and have never had a meal that was anything short of perfect. The food is outstanding: great selection, generous portions, always flavorful. The thing that sets Zayka apart is the service. Warm and friendly, whether it’s your first time or your 100th. A family run business that makes you feel at home from the moment you step in the door.

I’ve been ordering from Zayka for a long time now and I must say that the food is delicious and the service is great. I would highly recommend Zayka.

This is our favourite Indian takeaway! We’ve even moved from the area but go especially for our favourite bhuna. It’s always been great. Would highly recommend. Flavours are great!

Amazing staff who always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their Chicken Madras is delicious and everything is really freshly prepared, like their amazing condiments to accompany the poppadoms. They also offer a complimentary liqueur at the end of every meal. Perfect hospitality

We were the only diners in the restaurant, but we were well looked after and the food was excellent.

It's a shame, but we have felt the standard has dropped. We ordered 3 curries, 2 lamb, 1 chicken. The meat was tough in all 3 and so we did not eat the meat. Rather an expensive meal for curry sauce.

Very disappointing meal; Cold rice and dishes poorly presented.(Noi garnish at all.) The bread ordered was also below standard.We had to move table once seated in a completenemty restaurant.

Friday before Christmas and it was sooooo busy, but the staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Service was not impaired because it was busy. The food was amazing, huge portions , great choice, served hot and delicious. Good dessert menu, and a decent bar . A Family friendly establishment , comfortable , clean and a decent loo aswell. Definitely worth a visit. I will be going back.

I ordered steam rice and tarka dal. Rice was cooked well and fine though tarka dal was not at all tarka dal. It was tasteless, without any tarka!! Actually, the problem with Bangladeshi and Nepalese restaurant owners in the UK is that they are promoting/branding as Indian cuisine or Indian restaurant but the taste of the food and masalas used is not from the origin. Chef’s don’t know and so they don’t have Indian touch/taste. Their service was quick and good for that I would rate them 2 star overall.

The food is good but the portions are so small, considering how pricey it is. £10 for chicken curry and it came as a side dish!

I ordered from here the mixed grill and refer to the pictures. The close up of the chicken, shows poor quality meat, not white freshly cooked, it tasted like rubber. The kebabs were dry and seemingly tasted from a microwavable version and if you look closely, the meat is compresed, fresh kebabs have a spaced out texture with a pink meaty juicey glow. Better to order from taste of lahore or go to southall. Never buying here again which is a shame as I like to host family with a mixture of quality home cooked food and via takeaways.

Tikka masala was lovely but the korma was quite bland and sauce too thick, so left things dry. Also, didn’t realise the popadams didn’t come with chutney, so was slightly disappointed in that but probably an oversight on my end. Great time for delivery though and every was good and hot ! Loved the naan as well.

Admittedly as a currently displaced Monty’s customer from South Ealing finding another curry house on the area for the time being is necessary. The nearby Tandoori Villa didn’t hit the mark and Zayka was next on the list as it’s been around a while. The welcome was friendly and the staff attentive throughout. The price of the food was a shock to the system though. Mains were about £12 and £7 for a sag aloo was not great value. The butter chicken was ok, but some of the chicken was a bit chewy. The rice and naan were pricy and pretty average too. For the price the food was pretty average l, whereas I’d have expedited it to be exceptional which it wasn’t. The main reason for 3/5 was the service and the effort made. For the money I wouldn’t return, but I wish them all the best. Reply to owner: Appreciate the reply. The food wasn’t quite to my tastes generally either and was quite pricy, so not sure replacing the dish would’ve helped. It’s obviously a popular place though so it works for plenty of people. I’m just giving my thoughts on my experience and the price vs quality in my opinion as a lay person across the whole piece. Again, the service was very kind and friendly so just giving an unbiased opinion of everything overall.

Some bits missing - ordered popadoms, onion Bhaji and veg samosa but no pickles or sauces with it like normal.

The food was tasty but I was shocked at the portion sizes! They were side portions when I paid for mains! I paid £8 each for vegetable dishes which came as SIDE portions! I was shocked at how little food I got after spending almost £30!! For just one person!! I won't go back until they become HONEST about their extortionate prices versus portion sizes!! All other Indian restaurants I have tried would charge those prices for MAINS, with meat or seafood!! Shocked and horrified.

The cleanliness of the restaurant, the attention of the waiters, the service, and the food was amazing and served super fast! We ordered the Paduam, Chicken Byriani, Chicken Shashlik, Tandoori Aubergine and Raita. All the dishes were amazing and the portions were enough to share with three people! Thank you!! Gorgeous food; I had the chicken tawa which was really flavoursome with a good level of spiciness for me. My wife had the fish burado, which I tried; also very tasty. Service was swift and friendly. I expect to return.

A little pricey but great taste

Ordered a Passanda but actually received a korma. We ordered Tarka Dahl which never arrived. The rice was not fresh and the lamb sag was watery.

My favourite Indian restaurant! Food is very good (we only eat vegetarian) Service is very good and very friendly. I fully recommend Zayka for any occasion - big or small, celebration or just a meal out. (Also the delivery is good and reliable)

Lovely people, lovely meal. My partner is gluten intolerant and they are great will this, everything marked with what has gluten. Every dish we had was delicious. The naan is perfect. Highly recommend

Been coming here for a little while now, and whenever down in Ealing (West London), I always enjoy it and make it a priority of my visits. The place is a great curry house with authentic spicing and fantastic flavour! Service always friendly and chatty, my main topic of conversation generally being curry! A visit always puts a smile on my face, one of life’s simple pleasures and I’m already looking forward to the next time I get to visit.

Great food and service, highlights were the sizzling tandoori platter, methi lamb and naan breads. The staff were fine with us bringing our own birthday cake too. A good value, understated gem.

To be honest we haven't really ventured out since the Covid outbreak so this was our first night out in a very long time! We had a fantastic meal at Zayka's, our food was delicious and plentiful and the service was just as wonderful as it always has been, so glad that the world is finally returning to normal and we can eat out at our favourite places, a big thank you to the owner Donald and his team for making us feel very safe, secure and welcome :)

Head guy wore his mask on his chin. Waiters kept reaching across diners instead of serving properly. Korma was tasteless and terrible. Cheesecake was taken straight out of the freezer and put on a plate and when that was pointed out - no apology - just microwaved - it tasted disgusting. Then the guy almost shamed us into giving a tip. No one wanted to make a fuss at the time and it was only when we four left and really discussed what we thought, did we decide that it was really, really bad: lazy, poor cooking, bad manners and simply a waste of money.

Food mostly okay but useless delivery service. The driver's car apparently wasn't ULEZ compliant so they had to go back and get another car. Very poor service.

Great food as always, sadly I didn't realise until I got home they had missed my peshawari naan from my order. (Collection) I only recently found this Indian but its now my favourite in Ealing hands down.

This little restaurant on the South Ealing road never fails to impress, whether that be sit down or takeaway. Menu is fairly extensive and the food is always served to a good standard. Staff are super friendly.

Love Zayka. It's become a regular eat out/take away favourite for us. Service and management are so friendly and it's great value. Do try it out! The tikka masala sauce is something else!

The food absolute treat. The salad with the meal made it moving to a banquet. Just a takeaway one might say but exceptional. No waiting hot and wish I could serve to visitors and pretend my own. Compliments to Donaldo and all his colleagues.

Cosy restaurant with quick service and very friendly staff. We had the Chicken Karahi and Paneer Tikka Masala which were excellent. The Naan bread was one of the best I've had so far in London. Highly recommend this place.

Ignore the bad reviews of this restaurant - they are misplaced! We went for dinner last night and had an amazing meal. Everything was fresh and tasty. The meat dishes were succulent and juicy. Vegetarians are spoilt for choice. Don’t hesitate to try it. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and can help with special nutritional requests. Just try it - you won’t be disappointed!

I took my family for dinner at Zayka last night and we were all so impressed. Every dish was delicious. The meat was so juicy and succulent and the vegetables all fresh. The waiters asked us how we wanted the dishes cooked - spicy or medium and they arrived exactly as described. There is a wide range of choice of dishes for meat lovers but most importantly vegetarians are really well catered for. Between us we ate the chicken shashlick, chicken haryeli kebab with the most amazing homemade coriander sauce, paneer tikka, dahl palak and cauliflower bhajee with rice and fluffy naan. It was all so good we didn’t leave anything! I highly recommend this restaurant. It is very reliable and you know you will always have a delicious meal. There is a friendly welcoming atmosphere as the staff are friendly and helpful - very professional. They welcome everyone and ensure everyone has a good meal. It is good value and portions are big. We will go back very soon!

This is the worst over priced Indian food I’ve had in a VERY long time. I ordered a portion of samosas that were so small (you only get 2 pieces), which is crazy because you’re basically paying £2 for a tiny Samosa when you can buy a box of them for £2. Then the waiter got our the mains order COMPLETELY wrong, he was not paying attention and in the end he just looked blank and kept repeating the name of the wrong dish he served and didn’t even bother to rectify that mistake. The vegetable rice was bland, the naan wasn’t as fresh as it should be and don’t even bother with the portion size of it all. Not worth it at all, I recommend going to an Indian restaurant anywhere but here.

Great food and punctual delivery but when they state free delivery within a 2 mile radius they mean within 2 mile travel distance, which narrows the free delivery area considerably. I would have no issues with them adding a charge to the bill, but when you need to pay cash on the doorstep it becomes a bit awkward if you have no cash on you! So can't fault the food but need to amend the misleading caveat which unfortunately has soured my experience with them and won't be using again. Shame.

One of the most delicious Indian meals I have had...the king prawn sag was wonderful...as was the chilli paneer cheese...highly recommended.

The food was overall very good. Naan, egg fried rice was so nice! Only small down side was the Garlic jeerA rice Was slightly bitter and the Kathmandu masala was bit too sweet However it went well with the naan.
