Bombay Eating House in Ealing

not going to lie, the food was pretty unacceptable and wayyyy over priced! as fellow asians ourselves, we were pretty embarrassed that this is the new standard. the main curry had maybe 3 pieces of meat and the rest was tomato and bones. the chicken lollipop was heavily under salted and the rice was old and dry. Everything tasted microwaved and the samosa chaat was a disaster. And then on top of it all, i complained in person very nicely and they still charged me £41.40 when they could clearly see we didn’t even finish 80% of the food cause it was awful. Never coming back i’m sorry

This place is never open! The tv advertisment screen is on a constant loop but the place is a ghost town. If you're thinking of wasting your time and coming down maybe best to call first, because the staff are a no show.

Made a reservation but showed up to the place closed. There was no prior notice that they would be closed, nor did they inform us when making the reservation or after the reservation was made. After some digging, it looks like they closed on Aug 3rd and have been closed since.

We really like the food in this place, really nice chai too and not too expensive. Are you still open though? Every time we walk past you appear closed and nobody is answering the phone. We were hoping to book you for a private party in December and would like you to reach out and confirm whether you are still open for business?

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while as the menu is varied and looked different to usual Indian places. Can’t quite figure out whether it’s called Hustle or Bombay Eating House. Food was tasty but portions are small for what you get. I don’t think I’ve ever had a naan so small and it definitely wasn’t a traditional tandoor naan- so very over priced. Achari chicken was tasty but again quite a small portion if you’re sharing family style. Paneer Kati roll was bland sadly. Rice was over cooked and mushy. Bhel puri was tasty- probably the only decent sized portion. Overall paid £55 for 2 for a mostly vegetarian, non-alcoholic dinner so IMO not very good value for money.

Rude staff & small portions, don’t recommend. When I came to collect my order, personnel was very rude and didn’t even let me stay inside (the restaurant was absolutely empty) so I was actually told to wait outside until they pack my order in a scorching 35 degree heat…. Further they brought out the food and told me “you can leave now “… never felt so offended before. To top it up I found the portions were small. Stay away! RESPONSE Now that I've received your response it's even more evident how you treat customers. Whoever walks in your door needs to be treated with respect. In fact, it was my first time coming to your restaurant, and was interested to try your food, however after the way you treated me, I have absolutely no interest coming back and will make sure my colleagues and friends especially locals in Ealing are aware of the treatment you give to your visitors.

They need to change the chef or change management. The food was very poor. My dish was actually off but the replacement (different dish on recommendation by the apologetic waiter) was just badly prepared. My wife's dish was ok but nothing special and we both agreed on all three dishes we tried. I notice on the receipt that the real name of the restaurant is "Hustle" - could be something in that :)

This restaurant is really unique. Very unlike a traditional Indian restaurant in it's decor. The interior design is stunning. Gorgeous light fittings all across the restaurant are stunning, the bar looks very fabulous, the tables and seating very comfortable. The food is reasonably priced. They offered complimentary poppadoms with delicious chutneys. The samosas and chicken biryani came out piping hot. I'd suggest a base hotplate to keep the food warm to make it even better. The masala chai was awesome! We ordered it twice over. Will definitely be returning. Lovely vibe.

Super food and really friendly service - authentic Indian menu, with great care taken by the staff to help with food choices. Loved the biryani and the chat was also lovely, will visit again!

Being local , strolling with my daughter decieded to try the restaurant on a friday evening.I have eaten worst indian food before, but this time it was out of the league.Naan bread was stone cold, chicken briyani was beyond edible, same experience with tarka daal , me and my 13 year daughter paid £ 34 for making a mistake by entering through their doors. I am so disaaponted in myself for wasting time money and valuable 1 hour long wait to get the food in an empty restaurant. Seriously guys do you even care.

Great food and amazing service! Been here a couple of times and the food is fabulous. What stands out to me is service and seeing a young chap Jacob who’s service is impeccable was brilliant. People can make the experience. Nothing was too much and was so happy to accommodate my requests. Would recommend 100%. Jacob keep up the incredible work. Your a star!!

I first discovered Bombay Hustle the week it opened, shortly before the pandemic. The manager, Jacob, was incredibly helpful, and the Lahore Achari Chicken Curry was out of this world. The chicken had been marinated properly, so that the meat was tender and moist and melted in the mouth. The basmati rice was clean and smooth and probably the best basmati ever. Then came lockdown, so I bought twelve currys and froze them. When they ran out, I bought twelve more and so on for six times. But freezing dulls the flavour, yet it was still wonderful. When they reopened I had a freash one and my tastebuds were dancing in the street. I have at least three takeaways a week since then. Jacob suggested I would like the Butter Chicken as well. Impossible to believe but it is even better than the Lahore Achari. Absolutely the best ever - deserves a Michelin star. Sadly Jacob is leaving, but Emma will continue to look after me. Trust me, you will no better tasting chicken curry anywhere in the world. 100 out of 100. Simply THE BEST.

Restaurant has lovely decor, a pleasant, elegant place to eat.Even our son enjoyed the variety of dishes with his more conventional 'western' palate. Both the veg and non-veg starters and main dishes ordered being equally tasty.Staff were helpful with decent service even on a busy evening.I like extra spicy food but was advised that a few dishes were known for their subtly of flavours and extra chillies would take away from that. In the end I was glad for that advice as although mild in chillies for me, the dishes of lamb biriyani and butter chicken, had this subtly was evident in a combination of flavours that would have been hidden by the heat of the chillies.The other dishes we had were also very tasty. No alcohol is served but there were really nice mocktails (a refreshing mint one) and juices.Ended the meal with a selection of sweets ((Gajreela and Sooji Halwas) and teas (Karak and Masala tea). Still yet to try Kashmiri tea.I have been back with other friends and they also enjoyed the food and environment.

Very warm and friendly service the food was reasonably proportioned and tasted great I ate all my food compliments to the chef the server Jacob was very helpful the drinks were exquisite and the owners said hello and thank you for dinning which was a really nice touch

First time here, really enjoyed it. Very authentic, tasty, spicy curry! Great ambience, loved the music that was being played. Well worth a visit if you’re looking to try something different in Ealing.

We had a great evening just a few little things starters weren’t bought out together so was a gap between them would have liked everything together I know priority has to be given to take away orders but getting our starters bit by bit kinda ruined the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating they kept a suprise birthday cake for us and sang happy birthday thank you. Overall the small plates in the starters were the best main course was average but starters were great.

Me and my husband went for dinner. We checked the reviews and we said will definitely give a try . But when we reached there the waiter wasn’t even welcoming …the food wasn’t that good too and the waiter didn’t even bother to come and check on us … I wasn’t expecting that

This is a fabulous restaurant with amazing decor and excellent food served by dedicated staff who are well drilled in making the whole experience memorable.We visited this establishment with a very good recommendation from friends.This was our first visit and it made our wedding anniversary and birthday celebrations go with a bang.It couldn't have been any better.This outstanding restaurant which serves beautifully prepared food is run by a hard working couple (Bianca and Faheem)The restaurant is worthy of 5 because of its immaculate decor and staff.Keep up the standards and the great variety of delicious food.

Just got take away. Railway Lamb Curry and one Roti. Mainly sauce with 6 pieces of small lamb and a couple of potatoes. Costs well. Over £15 pounds and not worth half the amount. Very disappointed and feel I have been ripped off for what I received. This place fleeces people who think the food is good but in all fairness, it's not that good. Avoid if you can and find a decent and reasonably priced indian restaurant.

Excellent menu with a wide selection of different food and a good vegetarian selection. I would particularly recommend the lollypop chicken. Would go again.

In a nutshell, impeccable food. The unique tastes & freshness (our taste buds were buzzing) and the cleanliness and decor of the place. Very pleasant and helpful staff, taking their time to explain things. Love it when food is cooked and presented with passion. We will try the following again with our next visit: Samosa, Masala roast whole baby chicken with rice, Chicken biriani, Butter chicken, Fattoush salad. Can’t wait till we experience some other options on the menu. We (family of 5) will strongly recommend Hustle, a little hidden gem in the heart of Ealing, to our family and friends.

Was eyeing this place up for a while and it didn't disappoint. Great staff and better food.

Met up with friends after a long time and Hustle was the perfect spot! Beautiful atmosphere, lovely staff/service and delicious food! Also wonderful getting a Polaroid pic to take away the memory with us! Would definitely recommend and come again! An underrated spot in Ealing for sure!

Went there for a meal with my sisters and I can honestly say I have never been to such a welcoming and warm restaurant in my life. As soon as you enter Jacob greets you with a smile and ensures that you are welcomed with open arms. I would highly recommend to everyone as you will never experience a restaurant quite like Hustle!

After receiving a link video about the above resturant, i decided to take the family to this resturant, even from the minute i made my reservation over the phone, it felt like you was dealing with a professional booking team, very friendly and ever so polite. On arrival the location lay out and design is very impressive the decor and vibe about the resturant makes you feel comfortable. The food was very tasty espically the chicken tikka biryani, my kids rated this resturant 9 out if 10. Definitely recommend people to give it a try i personally will be returning for more food.

We had an amazing experience and amazing food at our visit to Hustle. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely a must return and worth the drive across London!

Saw this near me and absolutely loved the creativity and thought behind the restaurant. Drinks along with Mango lassi was O-K. Its made just like the real thing not over sugared drinks you see in typical asian restaurants. Mojito was lovely. The massalafied steak was not nice at all. Might be acquired taste but was not my cup of tea. The samosa chaat and chicken wings were absolutely fantastic. The standout dish was Lamb dum biryani. Even though they made a mistake sending me the chicken Biryani at first. They quickly replaced it with Lamb at an amazing speed I might add. Overall the meal was lovely.. a-bit on the expensive side.. but a lovely meal out nonetheless. Would visit again.

Great food but we had to wait for 45 minutes with only a glass of water. No alcohol served here. Very pretty restaurant and we enjoyed all our dishes when they arrived but it would have been nice to have been able to order nibbles while we waited.

We visited this restaurant last week and had a delicious meal. As it was our first time visiting we were unsure of what to expect. However, we were not disappointed. The food arrived promptly and everything tasted fresh. We had samosas to start, Biriyani and chicken curry. Everything was delicious. We had fantastic service from the waiter and waitress and had a lovely conversation with the owner of the restaurant at the end of the night. We both also loved the decor and felt comfortable eating there. We would recommend this restaurant 10x over and we will be back soon!

Very welcoming and friendly restaurant in the heart of Ealing with a rooftop, nicely decorated and elegant and super clean. Very beautiful, it looks very posh. I've had a delicious takeaway chicken tikka biryani and lamb pilau biryani with salad, yogurt sauce, salad and samosa. The food was packed in nice bowls that kept the food well warm, like as it comes from the kitchen and it was delicious, the meat is really soft and tasty, not too much oil and not super spicy. I'm not Indian but I really loved this food. And the service was really fast. The owners are lovely people and they always try to find new recipes and to be creative. Last but not least prices are really good.

My friends and I enjoyed our dinner. Jacob was very friendly and polite. He made some good recommendations. The food was delicious and full of flavour. I only wish my kebab and samosa starters came with some chilli sauce. We enjoyed the sauce that came with it but fancied some chilli one as well. We ordered a variety of dishes such as Hot Samosa chaat, chilli paneer, lamb samosas, satay seekh kebab, kathi chicken tikka roll and the only dish we didn’t enjoy was the keema toastie. For mains we enjoyed the railway lamb curry, saag aloo and butter chicken.To finish the evening we enjoyed our gulab jaman and gajjar halwa.The karak chai was very good including the chocolate chai.

Food was very disappointing, some unseasoned, some not as good as I can do at home. Overall it felt quite underwhelming.

Ate here for the first time with my family and it was a great dining experience. Such a clean restaurant and great service provided by Jacob. Food quality was great and it was just a pleasant time. We had a variety of dishes and all tasted above our expectations, from the chicken lollipops to the chilly paneer all the way to the biryani and steaks. Also got to meet Zaid the owner there, a very nice guy who was very welcoming. 5 stars from our end.

I visited this restaurant recently to treat my friend on her birthday. The presentation & delivery of the food was good, despite the fact they forgot to provide table napkins. HOWEVER - all the food was served in really small plate portions & extremely over priced, even in comparison to well established & signature chef restaurants like Rick Stein , Gordon Ramsey etc. Good food, but be prepared for small portions & a big fat bill at the end.

We just had a few small plates.. shish kebab, chicken tikka and smaosa chaat were good, chilli paneer was ok but could have been crispier. Mango Lassi is made on site, tastes nice but on the sweet side. Don't seem to serve alcohol.

Authentic indian\pakistani street food. Great blend of spices that remind of food in subcontinent. We had Pani puri (amazing), kfc (innovative) keema loaded chips were very tasty! Halal food. Ingredients seemed fresh. Mocktails and desert complimented the meal well. Highly recommended and we will be back to try other dishes.

I went here last night and can say that it was fantastic service, with an amazing atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and the decor was contemporary. The variety of dishes for both vegetarian and non vegetarian provided so many options to choose from, which were all delicious. Would recommend if anyone comes to Eailing Broadway!

A nice modern atmosphere and attentive service. The food we had was sub-par. The paneer curry was over cooked (reheated most likely) and was extremely rubbery and tough. The Dahl was too spicy, yet bland.

Very impressed with the quality and the flavours of the meal we had. One meat and one vegan dish, both were extremely tasty and special. It's nice to see that they cater to vegans and don't compromise on the elaborate flavours and spices that seem to go into all of their meals. You can tell the chef and management take great pride in their food. I only picked up a takeaway but the staff was very friendly and the decor in the restaurant is beautiful.

The food is very nice. Half the menu is vegetarian. It's a dry restaurant so you won't be served any alcohol: this makes it a great place for a family meal or a business lunch.

It was awesome. Staff treated us friendly. Food was great. Atmosphere was warm and they made my birthday night feel really special. Was so good that I went back the following Friday for seconds.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Hustle . Only thing I can fault is the roti . They are not fresh and there is no option for naan bread. I think some chutneys and salad should be complimentary. Also it is quite pricey. Overall I would go back again. Thank you

The food, compared to other Indian restaurants, was not that great. They do not serve alcohol. There was nothing very special about this place enough to make up for these things.

Excellent food it was authentic, with good use of traditional spices and taste. The service and the presentation was done with a lot of thought and care.The proportions of the food and dishes were perfect. Articulation of the cutelary, dishes and serving of the food. Absolutely loved it and great value for money. Will highly recommend this place for traditional Indian/ Pakistani food.

This is a fully dry restaurant so no beer or wine available, which makes it a great option for families or for diners who don't want alcohol. The food menu is half vegetarian, half non-veg and has great dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was attentive while not being overbearing.

Hustle is a very apt name for this place. You will feel hustled when you see the miserly portions served to you. Vastly overpriced but with nice staff. Avoid.

Friendly staff who are taking every precaution in these pandemic times. Ambience is neo eastern - very Instagram-able! Menu is limited and better for it. Some unusual, delicious dishes such as TFC and Turkish Manti. The cream soda and virgin mojito get two thumbs up!

Amazing food at Hustle in Bond Street, Ealing Broadway, and an added thank you to Rishi for helping keep the price down to under £20.00 thanks to the Eat In to Help Out. The Bhel Puri is amazing, the Chicken Lollipop was a little spicy, Railway chicken is rich and full of flavour….. Not the largest portion sizes you will see, but full of flavour.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was extremely clean and smelled good some oriental fragrance . The staff was very nice. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. Then also had dessert and that was really good as well. We really enjoyed our time and our food. Great atmosphere with really nice people.

This was my first experience at Hustle. The staff greeted us with a friendly face and food was better than expected. When I first step inside my reaction was WOW decor is absolutely fantastic. Is really nice place to go if you wanna have lunch or dinner with family or friends. One think that everyone have to know they are completely alcohol free restaurant. They serve halal food. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. I’m definitely going back.

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Ealing. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food it’s absolutely amazing- everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had. We had about 4 starters and mains. Our favourite dish was keema shepherd’s pie. Highly recommend.

On Sunday my friend booked this restaurant for us to try . This was are first visit. When we walked in we had are temperatures taken, which was fine. As other customers came in they were seated and there food orders were taken. I spoke to one of the waitresses and asked her how comes they had not had there temperatures taken. She said to me she didn't speak much English. I thought she would have got the man in charge, but she didn't. So i called him over and asked him the same question. He said yes im sorry and gave me a whole talk about how they are going to improve things. As soon as I said this one of the waitresses started to check some of the other customers. When i asked to go to the toilet thd owner asked me to wear my marsk . Which I thought was a bit weird considering the other customers that had come in went straight to the toilet and had no marsk on. But i still put on my marsk to go to the toilet. I wasn't happy with this service and won't be going to this restaurant again. I felt very uncomfortable about the way myself and my friend were treated.

Great food and Wonderfully decorated, lovely ambience. Portions were a bit on the small side though, making this a pricey meal and service was quite slow. However the beautiful restaurant made up for it!

I am so glad that Hustle has reopened, the food is amazing the flavours and spice level are so tasty. The staff are so accommodating especially as I'm not a hot spice lover, they accommodate each dish to my spice level. The lollipop chicken, Butter chicken and KFC chicken are so delicious and the Railway lamb curry is super tasty, the lamb is tender and fresh. The puddings oh my goodness absolutely delicious, three times I have visited and three times I just had to have a pudding, I mean you can not go to Hustle and not had a pudding. The design of the restaurant is mesmerising, the blend of colours and the coordination of the furniture blend very well thought through. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Hustle to anyone, even if you are not a hot spice lover, they will accomodate.

Amazing food and guidance. Particularly loved the meat samosas, crispy chicken, spiced shepherds pie, raita (thick yoghurt with fresh cucumber, herbs etc). Loved the decor. Really great mint tea and coffee. Great place to eat for family, business or date. Once we got over the shock of dry bar, loved that too! Great coffee and tea selection as well as soft drinks We’ll be returning
