Ordered first time from this restaurant. Very happy with the delivery time, the delivery guy was very polite and the food was delicious. Will definitely order again 👍

Has the chef changed? I used to order from here loads in the past the food was amazing. not to say it still isn't. but I can taste the change in 2 particular items, the keema naan and the magic platter for 2 kofte style kebab doesn't taste the same and the texture is gritty. what ever was altered in the recipe or staff has made a bad impact on the taste of these 2 items on the menu. Otherwise the bhuna is still 10/10 and keema rice 10/10.

The Delivery Driver Had MY RECIEPT in his hand and passed me my order in the bag with one hand and said I’m keeping this receipt with all my our home details on it - handed delivery to wife then went to delivery driver for our receipt -ignored stole

We ordered 4 dishes and each of them was so flavourful and absolutely tasty, like a high quality restaurant. The meat was super soft which is rare when in a delivery container. We‘ll definitely order again!

Good service and pleasant venue but they need to improve the quality of the food / food hygiene in the kitchen. Ordered takeaway lamb dupiaza but there wasn't much meat in it and it was very heavy on salt (you can clearly taste it through the sauce) and I ended up with a dodgy stomach and 'the squirts' the next morning. Not what you want for £14. This place really needs a new chef / kitchen team.

First of all Spice Magic and Just Eat delayed the order by one hours beyond promised timeline of 40 mins. Then they cancelled the order without informing me. Then they charged me full amount shamelessly. Very poor. I would never recommend Spice Magic or Just Eat. I recommend other Indian restaurants such as Holy Cow and platforms such as Uber Eats if you want to order food. Shame on Spice Magic and Just Eat.

Spice magic has amazing food, service and prices. The restaurant is relaxing with nice music and the dishes we ordered were, squid masala, chicken tikka masala, king prawn dhansak, rice and nan. Everything was excellent. Recommended. Photos next time.

I visited Spice Magic just by chance on a Wednesday in early December with a friend as we were driving around Northfield Avenue wondering where we should go for a meal. We found easy parking right outside Spice Magic and were pleasantly surprised to see they had an offer on the board outside for £12.95 a head for 4 courses. How could it go wrong? (It didn’t, by the way)! We were seated quite promptly and the waiter explained how the menu worked, the 4 courses weren’t really 4 courses, e.g. there was no dessert involved. Generally I think people go for papadums as the first course, then a starter, several were excluded such as prawn dishes, a main course – veg or non veg, and a side dish such as rice or tandoori naan. As we didn’t go for the papadums we were given the option to have another veg dish as we had ordered a chicken dish and some daal, so we asked for an okra dish. We had onion bhaji and aloo tikki for starters which were just the right size for us and we weren’t actually able to finish our main courses. My tandoori naan was somewhat overdone so had become a bit crispy so I pointed this out to the waiter who apologized and said they would bring me a new one, no fuss at all and this was brought out within a few minutes which was appreciated. My friend and I had lassis as drinks, one salty, one sweet and the waiters were happy to provide a jug of iced water too. When we had finished eating, my friend and I wanted to just sit for a while and carry on talking and we didn’t feel rushed to vacate the table which was nice. All in all a very pleasant evening, with really well priced offer for a Wednesday evening. I’m not sure how long this offer is valid for but it’s a great way to break up the week by going for a nice pleasant very affordable meal mid-week.

Has Spice Magic got a new chef? Has been our favourite Indian for many years despite the extremely long wait for deliveries but the food today was awful! Very bland, bad consistency, tough meat. Very disappointed so won’t be ordering from here again

Ordered lamb biryani and brinjal dish. Both very good quality and good portion size. You get a free vegetable curry with the Biriyani but an improvement would be if they offered an alternative, as veg curry is not good. Was 15mins late but not be an issue provided I get a message that food has left restaurant. Then I know how long it will be. Otherwise, not sure if it will be early, on time or late. Maybe something they can do in future.

Nothing hugely wrong with Spice Magic but the staff are all a bit terse and seem annoyed with customers. Their Wednesday banquet deal is good value but beware of the small print (not everyone gets a side dish even though it's advertised as such and the food is average but by no means great.

Amazing curry! Bhajis were perfect and crunchy! All the food was very well sized and came v hot and well labeled! Some free pappadums too which is a lovely touch! Will defo be going back!!

Excellent asian restaurant. Restaurant well kept, service was fast, food really good. We went for the Wednesday deal where you get 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 side, and 2 rice/naan portions. We enjoyed the jalfrezi chicken and the chicken tikka masala and 3 vegetarian starters and side. Definitely recommended 👌

Placed order it said up to 60 min delivery it took nearly 2 hours for food to come, garlic mugo had 3 cassava chips that was it, nobody contacted me to say there was delay and not even a free popadom for the inconvenience , the food was ok I will not order again by the time food came I was not hungry again poor service communication

We regularly order, the latest seemed to have dropped in quality. Mushroom bhaji was small, prawn madras was just soup and naan seemed to be half the size as normal.

Food was delivered on time but half of the items were cold. Chicken chaat didnt taste fresh. Chapati was in a plastic bag so was soggy. Himali chicken was ok, just not my taste. Chicken biryani was decent.

Lamb madras was 90% a watery sauce with no depth and little flavour apart from heat Chicken 65 was overcooked and a very small portion

Too Sweet in taste for Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken Gravy either they have added Tomato Sauce or some sweetener . Comment mentioned to make spicy was completely ignored. Sorry to say this , it’s no where near to authentic Indian Gravy

Another good takeaway from Spice Magic. Butter Chicken for the teenager, with leftovers for lunch the next day. Chicken saag for me and we shared pilau rice and a garlic naan. All very tasty and well wrapped for the delivery.

Great food, very reasonable price and quick delivery

Karahi lacked a bit of spice and flavour. It was a little greasy as well. Samosas we’re okay, bit mushy inside. Bhajis were well cooked but again, a bit greasy. Rice was solid and naan was excellent and a decent size.

Each visit the staff are very efficient, great food well prepared each time. The restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere with quiet level music. parking easy access to the location.

Ordered takeaway on a Tuesday night. Food was very good - however delivery was over an hour late, the order was missing one main, poppadums were smashed to pieces, lamb pasanada had five small pieces of lamb only. We called the restaurant to advise that there was missing food - the restaurant did not care or could not understand the complaint! Unfortunately will not be ordering from here again.

Delayed deliver to order over an hour and 15 minutes. Ended up having to go collect order from restaurant. Decided to order on a Monday as it would be quiet. Unfortunately this restaurant has no contract with Justeat to deliver. They use their own driver. Appalling service and total disappointment. When I arrived at restaurant there were 5 people at 2 tables. Quiet night so no excuse for delayed and cold food. And not even a gesture of apology. Never again Spice Magic.

Terrible experience every time ordering delivery. Placed order at 6:15 and told that the order would take 50 minutes. Called up multiple times over the next 2 hours and constantly told it was out for delivery. I eventually called up to cancel and I was guaranteed I would get a call from the manager to handle it (never got a call from them and never got a refund). Food then turned up 20 minutes later and the delivery driver said he had picked it up less than 15 ago. I then got an email after 10pm saying the delivery was just going out. This has happened multiple times. They lie to you and don't give a toss. Don't order delivery from here.
