The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Racism!! When we went to the restaurant for dine-in manager told rudely you are not allowed to sit here. He said we are full and we don’t have any space for you. But in real whole restaurant was vacant and when I showed my booking that guy told this is an English restaurant and I can’t offer you seat. Even when we asked for take away and try ordering food. He denied saying we won’t take any food order request from you. If you want to order better order via any food delivery app. They disrespect there customer’s. I would suggest not to visit this restaurant

Very quiet, but great food, take out makes more than dine in

A must visit place, food is incredible and as they say… it’s seriously saucy 🔥🔥 Would love to visit again and my fav is the Big basmati pulao rice with butter chicken and served with hot chutney 😍🔥 Best one in Leeds and also try the naan roll it’s amazing..

Cannot fault it at all! The food was 10+/10! The best Biryani I have ever had - the chicken was so soft and none of the food was at all greasy. Food portions are great too!! Naan breads were huge, and the staff were all super welcoming and friendly. Tonight was our first visit to Chutney’s - we will definitely be returning anytime we fancy a curry! Thank you Rocket and all the team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the third time me and my friends have been here. Every time we have unreal service. All the workers are polite and lovely

Was really disappointed with food..was brick hard neck of lamb and a couple of bits of fatty shoulder of lamb. Definitely was last night's left overs.. don't use cheap cuts of lamb explain what you are serving to customers. The sauce wasn't a korma no cream just full of sugar.. Pauline Frame I agree it's just a general red batch sauce thats tweaked added to any order..dine in restaurant reviews are pretty decent folk seem spoiled when they sit in. I also got the starter with small lamb shish which was lovely and soft..chicken tikka dry. Burnt bhaajis.. Takeaway customers are important as well

My first visit to zaras last night but it will certainly not be my last visit. Good choice of dishes, lovely food and very friendly, professional staff. See you next time!

What an amazing find. Well worth the journey.

Ordered Lamb Bhuna and pilau rice. Ordered at 5.15 with Just Eat. Expected 30 min delivery, arrived at 7pm. Food was just warm, rice was more like uncooked boiled rice.

The menu is a little unusual as it doesn’t have the normal madras, korma etc. However our meal was fantastic. The duck curry was the star of the show. Staff were friendly and efficient and the prices reasonable. All in all highly recommend

In the city center pricy but food is great

King Prawn fab again, however, poppadoms stale, Lamb very tough, chewy. Rice v nice along with onion bhajis. Just had a familiar microwave feel to it .

Mango Chutney - with ADDED plastic! Had drinks and papadams with chutneys etc… In the first round of chutneys we found bits of hard plastic which can only be described as a takeaway tub. It was then swapped over, to our astonishment we found even MORE plastic! 60th Birthday Dinner RUINED! Then as we made the decision to leave, rather than apologise, they asked us to pay for the drinks, to which we said that it is appalling that it was even suggested that we pay for drinks. Safe to say that we won’t be going back there ever again! !

Very nice food to Sit in or to take out. I’ve had a delivery before aswell and it’s been very Quick. Very helpful staff They even open the door for you on arrival. Highly recommended.
