Wow just spent over £60 on a takeaway & what a joke with portion sizes. £10.95 for a lamb saag & u get hardly nothing. I get more food & flavour from sainsbury mircowave indian. Food was bland. Im very upset that ive spent all this money & i didn't get my money's worth!

above average place considering other south asian restaurants in High Wycombe. Ordered Chutney Special Starter and Chutney Special biryani.. Starter could be decent. Meat is sort of undercooked. Biryani is relatively small serving for a person. Taste is good.

Great night out with a couple of friends who have been going to Chutney for many, many years. My second time, and it does not disappoint. Food is excellent, service does not come any better, and the place always has that great buzz.

I went tonight with my family. Staffs were very friendly and service were really amazing. Foods were really testy and delicious. Specilly, chicken saslik and lamb biriani were so testy and mouthwatering. Restaurant is really clean. If anyone like to celebrate any party, I will highly recommend. Definitely, I will visit soon.

Very very disappointed. I've been a customer for many years and always experienced good service and nice food. Today I ordered a take-away. The meal was cold when it arrived, no condiments with the onion bhajis and only one prawn puree delivered when I ordered 2. I called to mention the forgotten puree only to be told "I'm busy and he put the phone down on me - I was not in anyway rude or offensive in my call, I just wanted a refund for the puree. I went to the resturant to speak with the manager only to be informed they had refunded the puree. Absolute lack of customer service and he said that he didn't care that I would give them a negative review as I was just one customer. Well this is one customer that will NOT returning because I am obviously not important to them. My advice is to save your money and take your custom elsewhere as in their eyes you are only 1 customer and unimportant to their business. Sad, because they were my go to curry house, but no more. I'll take my business to a restaurant that appreciates my custom.

Been many times and had many takeaways. Staff have always been welcoming. Comfortable seating and good food.

The quality of the food was lovely, I had lamb passanda with peshwari naan and brinjal Bhaji, take away.. Lovely and flavoursome, really pleasant staff too. Will visit again And I got a 10% discount too

We were invited to the restaurant for a special tasting of a new lunchtime menu of authentic Indian street food. It’s more like a Spanish tapas style meal with the chance to try loads of different things. Not fully available yet but will be starting soon and on Saturday and Sunday. Perfect for a shopping lunch or people visiting the town for football as it’s available early. My favourite was the fish pakora. Really fresh and great with the chilli dip.

Absolutely revolting. Massive wait, there’s was mince beef in the chicken. It’s disgusting. I will never order a take away from there anymore. Be aware. Horrible.

Very nice place to eat. Generous servings on meat dishes. But extremely scant on rice servings. Food was delicious. Best chutneys to accommodate the poppadoms I've ever tasted. Looking forward to returning some day.

Super friendly staff but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The food was very bland and every dish looked and tasted the same, if you like onions there's plenty! Absolute shame but my advice is save your money and buy a jar.

I will NEVER order from here again. Celebrated my 30th birthday by ordering from this place. My partner had eaten from here before and said he enjoyed the food. We ordered food and took it home as soon as we took it out of the bag it burst open. Hot korma and tikka all down my leg. Took it back whilst in pain with a burn down my leg, my trousers in a bag with curry down it and to be told its my problem and its the customers fault. I love this food, i order it all the time unfortunately the place we ordered it from before no longer exists so i wanted to try something new and this was the recommended place. When you're in that much pain, to be told its your own fault. Never been so upset. I said to him there was no instruction to not remove it from the bag. He said what you need to be told. Yess clearly because now i have a burn down my leg, My birthday was ruined

Copious and Tasty and reasonably priced Meals for take aways compared to some other high street stores. A noice treat for a weekend or that special day.

I am very disappointed with Chutney and I feel that this restaurant has really gone downhill in Wycombe! I ordered a takeaway tonight and mentioned about not receiving the correct item in the order. I was told that they would correct this straight away however by the time I finished eating I was still waiting. I think what really annoyed me was not only the waiting but the fact that that they did not apologise for their error. To even get a refund for the missing item I felt that this was a battle! This will be the last time I order from them!!! Staff need to know what customer service is!

A decent place to have Indian / Bangladeshi food. To start with, popadoms were nice. We ordered Chutney special starters - but they weren't special in my view. They came very very quickly (I am still amazed how the starters can be ready so quickly, were they ready-to-eat warmed?) Also they weren't very tasty - they looked either ready-to-eat given to us, or re-heated. Fish Tikka - again, too much oily & came very quickly - not sure if it was freshly made or frozen re-heated. Mains, were nice. We did Chicken bhuna & naan : they were nice. Naan weren't cooked from sides/corners but were soft, so good. Mains were nice, but starters were not great at all. They definitely should improve their starters.

Ordered through deliveroo, once confirmed said would be 45 to 55 minutes, an hour and a half later still no food. Called the restaurant to be told the driver would be 10 minutes. They did arrive after 1 hour 40mins total. Food was pretty much cold. The lamb rogan was acceptable but the lamb biryani was not nice, the veg curry that goes with it was like a vegetable soup out of a tin (smelt like it, looked like it, tasted like it), very bland and stodgy, hardly any meat to be seen in the biryani. The onion bhajis were so greasy they had leaked through the bag onto all the other containers, they fell apart taking them out and the middle seemed undercooked. I've had good experiences with chutneys dining in many years ago but this was very poor and I wouldn't order from here again unfortunately.

Absolutely appalled with tonight's order, mine and sons chicken In the korma is pink and very undercooked. I phone the restraunt up to be told nothing they can do other than to cook me another one! You think I want to eat or trust your cooking again. I've been a loyal customer for ages and this happens. Now you've lost my custom completely. Absolutely gutted with the attitude and service I've recieved.

I normally have a take away from Chutney has it's excellent but yesterdays take away was not there usual standard,the oil that it was cooked with needed to be changed has it tasted stale which was such a disappointment.

Definitely High Wycombes best Indian restaurant. Have been using them for a long time. They survived COVID by just doing takeaways, which we used weekly! Met up with some friends for a meal in the restaurant last night. The service was 1st class, as always. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent quality, freshly cooked and well presented. A great evening of good food and company. Would thoroughly recommend. We'll be back soon.

I ordered late lamb biryani. It tasted great and I believe I got value for my money. The personnel was nice and the waiting time was like 10-15 mins. Great when you are in a hurry. Btw I ordered after 22h. Not so many restaurant in the area being opened at this late hour. I will definitly come back.

Ordered food through Deliveroo, and the dishes ordered were bulked out with half cut raw onions. If I wanted an onion dish, I would have ordered onion bhajis. Manager stated that he was fed up with customers complaining and wanting free food. Need I say more. This is the first time and last time I will be placing and order with this restaurant, who is selling dishes not as described!

I don't know whether the people of Wycombe have lost their taste buds, but this place was drier than Gandhi's flip flop! The Sheek kebab was clearly far from fresh as I'm certain ice particles were still formed at the bottom of the plate. My chicken tikka masala was as bland as Jimmy Savilles fashion sense. This restaurant is a great example of why I struggle to find good restaurants, having been a regular at Farnham road in Slough where you can find some of the best Punjabi food that can land on your tongue. Avoid this place & step into Eat Thai 👍🏻

First takeaway from here but never use again not sure what meat was but didnt taste like chicken...very poor ...

Had a meal here with my wife food was excellent the price is about average my only small complaint is how slow the service is they seem more bothered by the delivery orders than the customers in the restaurant.

I get better service in takeaways and this is supposed to be a restaurant. I'm glad they didn't charge service charge as I wouldn't be happy paying that. Also the server had to bring in the manager multiple times to help out as he couldn't understand English, and I was literally asking for simple things, he didn't know what a "normal tissue" was. Another disappointing thing is their menu in front of their door has completely different prices than when you actually walk in and sit down. So even though the service charge wasn't included in my bill technically I have paid it with the inflated prices.

The food at Chutneys has been consistent over the decades. Amazingly flavourful meals and friendly service. They have come through the pandemic strength to strength, winning awards for their cooking. I would highly recommend booking a table for an all-around good evening experience.

14 of us went to Chutneys for a meal. They did us a set menu at £20 per head. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn’t fault it or the service at all. Amazing food.

Lovely food and excellent value

Been here several times and food good. Tonight the food was bland, poppadoms were greasy, onion bhaji were greasy, naan bread was small with little filling, had to ask for lime pickle. Waited ages for bill. The waiters were not very friendly, never smiled, like everything was too much trouble. Will not eat here again. Expensive for such a disappointing meal.

Visited Chutney tonight. Enjoyable meal but chutneys for the poppadoms came in plastic containers. Ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was fabulous but I was given a small side plate to eat it on. Service given wasn’t that good and only one other table was occupied so the place wasn’t busy. My wife ordered a Chicken tikka for her main course and was charged and brought a starter size!!! Then at the end of our meal the waiter asked if we wanted to order another main course!!!

Ordered takeaway to support local only to find some items missing. Called and spoke to a person who said his name was Rocket. Extremely rude and unhelpful. We frequently go here for meals but will no more go again due to his unprofessional attitude and tone.

The food was nice... What there was of it. I ordered a dish for 2 One onion bargee one samosa. Hardly for 2.The lamb tikka was dry and only had 5 small bits of meat I was very disappointed overall Wont be using again

Not a lot I can add to past good reviews. They have always been constantly good and I am both happy and impressed with the service.

First time trying Chutney and I must admit, it wasn't amazing. I was enticed to try them over other local Indian restaurants after looking at the menu and seeing they had quite a few vegetarian options. In fact, the whole menu was quite impressive with their choices but I found the food quite salty and greasy, especially the Chana Sag. Maybe the meat dishes are better... All in all, I wouldn't have food from there again.

We ordered online, delivery was very prompt. Everything arrived. The food was excellent. Will definitely use this company again.

Has Chutney changed hands in lockdown? We’ve had several takeaways and sit in meals in the past years, but this takeaway was very disappointing. Lack of depth of any flavours and hardly any chicken in the Jalfrezi. Very surprised because it’s always been so good and reasonable value.

Well my good money spent on NAFFmeals Double cooked dried out chicken in a poor curry sauce that was luke warm Cold rice. Small NAAN bread should of gone to DANSK HSE or BOMBAY PALACE Chutneys well u sint no winner winner for a chicken dinner in my book for 2021

Unfortunately not very good at all. Some dishes completely different to what I had ordered. Lamb in lamb madras was inedible. If you can try and eat elsewhere, would be advisable.

We ordered a variety of mains and sides with rice and naan. Nothing was redeeming. I've had better curry from a microwave ready meal. We chose to try Chutney's based on the ubereats reviews. The main was greasy and under seasoned. The spinach was out of a can. I won't return in a hurry. On the plus note, the Chap who delivered it (40 minutes after the ubereats prediction) was very friendly.

Ordered food from here as it’s so hard finding a descent Indian in this area and was not disappointed. Portions were big and they didn’t scrimp on the meat. The food was very flavoursome I will definitely be ordering again.

In writing the review I will add first that i went on a Saturday night with Covid regulations in place and the restaurant was very busy both in the restaurant and sort takeaways.But it was shambolic.Did not get the drinks order right. Ordered 2 soft drinks and a beer and got 3 soft drinks.The service for every course was slow; we waited over 15 minutes just to order drinks and the meal.The food when it arrived was ok, but not great, but was warm. The main course took over half an hour to wait after the starter.The waiters were very rushed and chaotic. Everything had to be asked for at least twice.When I asked for the bill I had to ask three times before it arrived. And when it did arrive they had added £12 for food that clearly was not ordered.Overall it was a unsatisfactory experience with mediocre food and bad service.I accept they were busy with takeaways as I say; but as guests in their restaurant it was a complete and utter disappointment.

Horrendous. And food was tampered with! ( due to altercation whilst making my order with a member of staff) Appalled by service and quality of food. Avoid at all cost, simply had a awful experience due to wrong items delivered and once called to complain and question them for foul play with my food they sniggered as if they had and never denied the claim and they told me I was wrong. Utterly shameful and rude.

Chutneys is our place to go for an Indian takeaway. The food is consistently of a very high standard and the service second to none. Tonight was no exception. Although they were incredibly busy and short of staff we were treated to their usual excellent service and fabulous food. Thank you Chutneys we will be back soon.
