This is the second time in the past couple of months me and my family have dined here. We went tonight for my son's birthday. What sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional service. Paul, our waiter, went above and beyond, providing attentive and friendly service that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on, enhancing our meal beautifully. If you’re in the area, Bombay Palace is a must-visit for great food and top-notch service!

I never give full marks on any review but this place really deserves it...they are welcoming and polite as soon as you step through the door, the food is hot, present nicely and taste incredible. If you have never been, it is definitely a place to go whether if its for a date, family meal or even just to get a take-a-way, all brilliant!!

Me and partner went to the Bombay palace for a date evening. The food was gorgeous and the service was incredible. No request was too much for Paul, Paul looked after us and made sure we had a splendid evening. Will definitely come back!

We visited Bombay Palace for the first time on Wednesday and loved it so much, that we cancelled reservations we had for Thursday night elsewhere, and booked here again, instead! One of the waiters, Dulon, was incredibly attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed alongside taking the time to get to know us and share stories. The other waiters within the establishment were just as wonderful and would check in with us too. The food was incredible and we all agreed that it is the best Indian food we have ever tasted. We all ordered different dishes and were so impressed we were sharing with each other so we could taste all the options. In particular, the fish was cooked to perfection as well as the meat, especially the lamb. We would highly recommend, the atmosphere is enjoyable and relaxing, the staff are friendly and attentive and the decor is beautiful. Thank you very much!

Food taste is good not so surprising ,most expensive restaurant in area but same taste of curries you can get from anywhere else in 10 mile radius with reasonable prices , my mushroom rice was salty and its destroyed my curry taste, Had radoshi but minced meat was smelly I thought it’s the taste🙄 but on morning I was sure it got me food poison, My wife pila rice was overheated (might be microwaved) , I rather go to chautny because of reasonable price and taste is similar. Thank you for reply, But still I won’t visit as my experienced was terrible, I’ll visit if my friends visits if ever they do visit 😂, So be grateful to people around you who supporting your business and be thankful and kind towards customers, and staff and make your curry house better because ( what’s goes around comes around).

My wife and I first went to the Bombay as we were looking for somewhere to eat prior to going to the theatre and ended up here purely by chance as hadn't booked and most places were full. We were really impressed with the food and service so on Saturday (29th June) we went back there for a birthday meal for my wife even though we live in Hemel Hempstead, some 30 miles away. Once again the food was absolutly delicious (Biryani - lamb and Special) and the sevice from the friendly staff was excellent. Also it is a really nice and clean restaurant with great decor. My wife and I have been to many an Indian restaurant over the years and this is the best. We will visit again - a definite contender for a Curry Award.

Came here with my boyfriend and the food was amazing, along with top class service and beautiful new plush surroundings made it a wonderful experience, the waiters could not do enough and were extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble and a lovely bonus was a complimentary drink at the end of our meal. I would high recommend going to bombay palace and will certainly be going back again soon.

We visited here a few weeks ago, as a 50 year old I've visited MANY Indian restaurants/takeaways around the country, and this place is outstanding, I had a Lamb Madras and was possibly the best meal I've ever had (not just Indian) keep up the good work 😁👍

Four of us met up for a curry, and we all agreed the food was excellent. Timing of the arrival of courses at the table was just right, and staff checked whether we needed anything else every now and then. Well done Bombay Palace!

Everything was great, especially the service... The guys were very nice, the ordered dishes were well prepared and delicious, the atmosphere was also cheerful, the whole experience was enjoyable and we had a nice time. The food portions were sufficient and the prices were acceptable. I recommend visiting the restaurant for lovers of Indian food.

Soggy biriyani rude staff very stingy with their dips only offer 1 dip per takeaway order which is not enough, I found hair in my biriyani as u can see in pics, never coming back here again

Very pleasant atmosphere and the food was very delicious. Good value for money not just taste wise but also portions as well. The best curry house in High Wycombe by far, in my opinion. Would definitely recommend, wide range of selection of dishes and drinks. Staff were very pleasant and were able to provide the best dishes and drinks based on my preferences. Will definitely be returning and making this place my regular curry house!

This is our go-to Indian place in Wycombe, the food always arrives on time, hot, and is delicious. On the few occasions we've eaten in the restaurant as well the staff have been friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Busy mid town Indian restaurant near the train station, best to book, but the excellent front of house will try and fit you in, yes, a fab meal yes, we will be going back... Soon

I've been coming to Bombay Palace for many years. Food is very good, staff very friendly and the atmosphere always makes for a great experience. The recent refurbishment has only added to the charm of the place.

If your looking for a good place to have an Indian dish bist Bombay their food is a 10/10 I have eaten here with my partner two good times and I can say the food is fantastic. The service they give is top notch staff is very friendly and kind . There is Paul who works there is actually good he came to our table had a bit of chat with us . Please visit Bombay is just so good 😊 the atmosphere in the place feels so nice . Also their toilets are super clean I give it a 10/10 I used the bathroom and I was amazed at how clean it was normally some restaurants their toilets can be dirty but Bombay everything was top notch. Me and my partner will be back again .

Returning after a few years and it did not disappoint. Food was tasty and freash , highly recommend the bombay mixed starter. Staff were friendly and attentive will deffo be returning. Advise booking a table as I can see how it could potentially get very busy.

It was really busy when we went, so service was a little slow. But the food was great

Terribly regret visiting. Fell for the reviews! Could be just us but service was terrible. We asked for recommendations for vegetarians…to which the waiter said…they don’t recommend as everything is good and he didn’t want to take the blame if the recommendation wasn’t good! Masala papad was raw 40%. to which the waiter responded all masala papads are the same and he can just take it away…didn’t even offer a replacement! Veg biriyani was yuck! The way he served made it look worse. The bowl swirled as he threw it on the table literally! We had to ask him twice for water and he bought only 2 glasses when we were 3! I had to go to the billing desk to get another glass. Right from the time we booked the table, the experience was no way near positive. I should’ve read the cues but gave the benefit of non native speakers (like me)….what a blunder! The very focus of the waiter was to get the table back…will you leave the table by 8? Understood it is a busy Friday. Full of customers in tightly arranged tables like a local busy pub but instantly realised as soon as we saw the menu, that this place isn’t suitable for vegetarians! Very few options. My fault, I should’ve checked the menu in depth. As soon as we finished mains, no offer for desserts made…well they wanted us to leave. New benchmark for our worst restaurant experience in the UK ever.

Had high hopes for this take away as it was recommended to me. Kind prawns were mushy, paratha a bit tasteless and the lamb was on the tougher side in the lamb biryani. Wouldn’t order again I’m afraid.

Family meal, staff very attentive, trying to entertain our 8 yr old Grandson. Good food and improved ambience due to the new tree. Will be returning.

The food is normally lovely but the service was dreadful over 45 mins despite phoning them up twice and then being lied to it had left when it clearly had not. Very disappointed

What a wonderful night out! The food was varied and delicious, the whole place (including the toilets) was spick and span and the staff were beyond fabulous. They managed that mix of professionalism, friendliness and attentiveness. We will definitely be going back.

We ate at the Bombay Palace last night for the first time ever, prior to seeing a show at the Wycombe Swan. We live locally but have never tried this one before. I can safely say it was the best Indian meal we have had in a very long time. Very attentive service and cosy atmosphere. Only suggestion is it would be nice to have the option to add service charge ourselves rather than it be on the bill as mandatory!

Highly recommend Bombay Palace Lived in the area for over 4 years and it has become our go to Indian restaurant. The staff are very welcoming, great service and we have always enjoyed great food. 5 stars from us

I have been going to Bombay Palace for years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff are amazing, so polite, look very smart , so friendly. Food is outstanding, very fresh, full of flavour, great presentation. They have just refurbished the whole place and it looks incredible. This is definitely the place to go if you want a fine dining experience, with amazing food, amazing service and an amazing atmosphere.

Great food my only concern is Chicken Korma £20 is in my opinion over priced I understand the cost of food has gone up but not to the extent of charging this much!

Had a great time and experience, the food was lovely and would definitely visit again. Would have preferred my curry hotter as I chose a madras curry. But the food tasted great! It was busy also with music in background. The owner or manger of the restaurant gave me and my friend a shot of choice on the house which was very kind and the we were asked how our food was before hand. Disappointed they didn’t have a disabled toilet one of my friends is in a wheelchair. The ladies toilets were small and a light wasn’t working. Drinks pricey but most restaurants drinks are. But definitely would go again. Thank you Bombay Palace

I can't believe we’ve been living in High Wycombe for 6 years and had never tried Bombay Palace. Due to the location in the centre of town we decided to go for my hubbys birthday meal so we caught a cab. I can honestly say ‘wow’ this was a very fine example of what a restaurant and service should be! Lovely atmosphere, decor, food but most of all the service from staff especially ‘Paulo’ Staff interact with you, crack a few jokes and provide excellent service. Where we’ve been for 6 years I don’t know, what I do know is Bombay Palace is one of the best restaurants in Wycombe, we’ll certainly be returning!
