The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Hadn't booked and just turned up. The staff were great, friendly and attentive. The food was superb and staff were really switched on. Really good and would recommend it as the best in the area.

Saw discount for online takeaway, so ordered to collect with estimated 20min wait, will email and text when ready. No problem! 20min - nothing, 30min - nothing, 45min - nothing, 60min - order is received but still 'being cooked' - what's going on? Call in and very abrupt answer that it was ready, come down and get it. I immediately then got the email that it was ready. Walked down to collect and the man who greeted me said I should have just come down after 20min - I said that's not what the ordering platform said. Didn't get a clear answer. Expressed that it really wasn't clear and I didn't understand what took an hour - it was waiting in a carrier bag on the side and the restaurant was a third full. He offered me a diet coke on the house - I declined. Got the food home - it was warm, including the salad. It was ok - I liked the aloo and the lamb we got, but the samosa seemed like freezer reheat in the oven. Food average overall, experience poor. I'm pretty sad about this.

I visited here on friday and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service without being intrusive. Our server, Sabiha and manager Arham was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! We tried the tawa grill, meat and chicken karahi and meat pilau and rasmalai and it was cooked to perfection. My dining companions were equally impressed. The ambiance was perfect for a party evening meal, Whether you're looking for a cozy night out or a special celebration, this restaurant has it all. Exceptional, as always. Regularly get a take away and the food quality and flavours are delicious. Had one this evening, spot on from the ‘no fresh coriander please’ couple. Always a treat, thank you Hassan and co. For your hospitality and service. We have tried many, some of which are closer but nothing compares. Look forward to the next one already :-)

Won a competition for a meal for 2. Collected it and it was so delicious. Service was good. Really nice food, which was hot. There was so much of it, I couldn't finish it all. Would recommend.

The most charming Indian ever! Cannot praise this place enough. The food was delicious and service was even better. Was made to feel so welcome. Didn’t feel rushed and the prices for the food were such good value for money. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. It’s BYOB and they don’t charge for corkage! They also prefer cash but can take card.

Called last night and was refused entry simply because I was on my own . There was plenty of tables there loss

I came to collect food and the waiter taking plates back to the kitchen barked "EXCUSE ME" I understand that it's a small restaurant, but don't talk to customers in that tone. Very rude, very miserable. Even when he asked if I'd ordered. I'm usually very tolerant of this kind of thing, but honestly, if you can't be polite to the general public as a waiter, you're in the wrong job. The staff here used to be very polite. I'll go next door next time

Booked in today for a meal for our anniversary and the staff were wonderful and the food delicious and so reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

Been here twice now, for takeaway and eaten in. Both meals were really good. The staff are really friendly. I will be going back again.

Ordered takeaway and it was amazing. I had the chicken tikka paneer, really nice and spicy, the quality of the chicken was so good and there was a good portion too. Honestly, try it, it’s a spicy tikka masala, loved it. Definitely going to be returning, arrived in under an hour and hot!
