Visited Pahli Hills Bandra Bhai recently and had a mixed but overall good experience. We started with two Nimbu Panis — salty and sweet-salty — but honestly couldn’t tell the difference between the two. From the small plates, we tried the Bombay Bhaji — it was flavorful but quite mild. I prefer spicier food, and while I should’ve mentioned that, it would’ve been great if the staff had asked about spice preferences. The Achari Paneer Tikka from the Tandoor & Grill was excellent — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Instead of going for big plates, we opted for two sides — Okra Masala and Black Daal — along with Tandoori Roti and Lachha Paratha. The Okra Masala was nicely made but could’ve used a touch more salt. The Black Daal was creamy but quite bland for my taste. On the bright side, the portions for the sides were generous — definitely more than expected. The breads were fresh, soft, and absolutely on point. The place was packed, so the service was a bit slow, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, a good meal with some real highlights, especially the Achari Paneer and the breads. A bit more attention to seasoning and spice levels would really elevate the experience.

This was the best Indian food we’ve ever had to takeaway. Absolutely delicious. The cheese and garlic naan was amazing - so cheesy! Very generous portions - enough for the next day. Extensive menu, plenty to choose from, I really liked that most dishes could be chicken/lamb/prawn or paneer. Staff were friendly and service was quick and efficient. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Highly recommend.

First visit to this restaurant, access is via steps to the front, not sure if they have alternative access. The menu has a wide selection of different Indian dishes, from mild to blow your head off. There were dishes I had never heard of. Service was quick and efficient and the food portion was generous. Too much for some to eat it all, will go back again if the opportunity arrives.

A truly delightful experience awaits at Gandhi Restaurant in Maidenhead! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, and the entire evening was a testament to excellent food and service. We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and each was a standout. The Chef's Special Khandani Grill was an absolute triumph – a perfect symphony of perfectly cooked meats, beautifully spiced and incredibly tender. For lamb lovers, the Badami Lamb Shank is a must-try. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone succulent, swimming in a rich, aromatic sauce that was simply divine. And of course, no Indian meal is complete without a classic, and their Chicken Tikka Masala did not disappoint. It was creamy, flavourful, and exactly what you hope for from this beloved dish. Beyond the fantastic food, we want to extend a special thank you to Sadik, the Manager. His attentiveness, warm hospitality, and genuine care for our dining experience truly made the evening memorable. Sadik's friendly demeanor and efficient oversight contributed greatly to the restaurant's wonderful atmosphere. Gandhi Restaurant is a gem in Maidenhead, offering authentic and delicious Indian cuisine with service that goes above and beyond. We highly recommend it and will certainly be returning soon!

We all had a great time here on 26th celebrating my husbands birthday. As soon as we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. My son doesn't like coriander and they didnt hesitate cooking him his starter again without it. We will definitely be going back, would highly recommend.

Hotel i stayed in didn't do food i was particularly interested in. This was 5 minutes walk away and I love indian food. I looked at the reviews and thoughts been a long day not too many negatives so let's give it a whirl. Restaurant was empty first in. I was away on business. It was early ish 6.15 so not surprised. Great greeting by the young man on the desk. Table for one. Didn't want poppadoms so had starter Chicken Chat. Absolutely gorgeous. Had my fave beer Bangla. Main course Chicken Jalfazi Mushroom Rice and Chappatti. The food was excellent. The restaurant stated to fill with indian/ Asian people so o knew i had made a good choice. The one thing that did supruse me was the orders for take away & collection it was non stop. Would i reccomend.... definitely without a doubt one of the best meals I have had. Credit to all staff especially the chef Next time in Watford I will be back but will bring others with me.

Excellent meal on Thursday night, 10th April 2025 at Jholpai Indian Fusion in Lanark - I had Jalfrezi lamb, my friend chicken Jalfrezi and my other friend Punjabi lamb - accompanied with vegetable and chicken pakoras, nan bread, mushroom pilau rice and washed down with Kingfisher Beers - the lamb was cooked to perfection and melted away in your mouth - and the restaurant has recently been redecorated and refurnished 😀😀😀
