Dad was looking for a traditional pie and mash place. This was perfect. Exactly what he had wanted and remembered from when he was young.
The pie was well filled and tasty, mash was creamy and the liquor (gravy) was a classic.
A limited traditional menu in a funky wooden booth cafe.
Service was friendly.
Would definitely go back again.
I went to this cafe yesterday with friends for afternoon tea. What a great place!! Atmosphere is great, staff very friendly & efficient. The afternoon tea was excellent, variety of fresh sandwiches & savories. Scones & cakes were very good and a very reasonable price. I will be back without a doubt.
We have been visiting Iced Bakes most Saturdays for a while and always look forward to our warm welcome. Home from home. Such a nice place to rest up and eat after a walk or cycle ride. Lovely cakes, home cooked food and great people. Our favorite cafe for sure and if you need a gift for a celebration you can get that too. 👍
Gran desayuno, con productos locales. El personal es realmente amable y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.
Definitivamente te prepara para el día.
Still a wonderful little gem in Alverstoke. Owner will cater for any dietary requirements if you let her know in advance.
Dog friendly.
Occasionally opens Sunday for a Sunday roast.
Sucedió en este café mientras caminábamos por la ciudad, un pequeño hallazgo genial, muy buen café y té y una deliciosa pastelería. Bonito rollo, muy frío.
I personally haven’t been in milk & honey cafè since I was a kid… it was lovely to see the cafè still open and to be able to call in for a delicious bacon butty and a hot drink
The staff there was friendly, welcoming and all had outstanding customer service skills
Absolutely awesome pizza. My wife loves margherita pizza with extra cherry tomatoes, garlic oil and onions. Love the Braveheart pizza haggis and chillies myself. Make this a place you visit weekly, extremely tasty reasonably priced pizza.
Stopped off for a pot of tea while we were wandering round Bradford. What a lovely place. The owner was so friendly and the tea was excellent. Loved the plants.
My friend and I visited this little gem this morning for a quick coffee, we were so pleasantly surprised how beautifully decorated the coffee shop was, the place was so clean, the owners were so welcoming and kind. We had a taste of their freshly baked banana cake which was divine. I'll be definitely be visiting them more and highly recommend it ❤️.
Fabulous authentic food
We visited this for a Saturday evening opening. We both enjoyed our food, sharing the kottu and rice platter .
Both were delicious, freshly prepared & cooked .
The service was genuinely friendly and helpful .
If , like us , you enjoy real food prepared when ordered
, you can't fail to enjoy the food at Barn Street .
Popped in here for first time on my way to the Station, mostly for the convenient location. Stayed for one more than the single beer I intended. Friendly, knowledgeable staff (Prentice?). A definite return next time I'm in Ealing!
The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. Definitely would recommend them. I had the small trays of Ayamashe, jollof rice, garnished chicken and fried rice (the prawns size - amazing).
Como aquí a menudo, la comida siempre es deliciosa, ingredientes frescos y está hecha con amor! Recomiendo encarecidamente comer aquí si usted está buscando comer auténtica comida vietnamita hecha en una cocina dirigida por una familia.
