Absolutely awesome pizza. My wife loves margherita pizza with extra cherry tomatoes, garlic oil and onions. Love the Braveheart pizza haggis and chillies myself. Make this a place you visit weekly, extremely tasty reasonably priced pizza.

Staying in Glenrothes for a couple of nights and was looking for something handy for myself my wife and my daughter. Read the reviews and thought we’d give Pizza Vara a go. It was amazing. Freshly made pizzas, while we waited, in a huge pizza oven. We tried a special from the menu, it was special, absolutely delicious. The owner was very friendly and chatted away while we waited. He suggested we also try his home made tiramisu. Wow, it was gorgeous as well! Well deserved 5 star reviews. Nice guy, nice staff, beautiful food! Heartily recommended!!

Driving home and got the wrong exit! Oh my, where am I?! No idea, but that looks like a pizzeria! Mmmh... Why not a pizza after training? Walked in, looked at the menu... Very interesting and varied: got a special, a meat calzone, and a margherita for the little one. Unfortunately the super special were listed on a separate menu, so I noticed them too late! Next time. I heard the pizzaioli chatting away in Italian, therefore I totally had to jump in... Compatrioti! Lovely chat and when I finally got home and we tried the pizza... Madonna mia splendente che miracolo! Marvelous. Thin but solid base, no topping got through, making it a soggy mess, like in the usual fake pizzeria; great tasty crust; thick and fresh toppings. Honestly. REAL PIZZA. And the tiramisu... Ah! Like the one I make. I cried a bit. Honestly, just go, even if you're British! Here you get the taste of proper Italian pizza. Grazie Paolo, torno presto!!!!

My wife and I were looking for a nice takeaway for a Saturday night but didn't fancy the usual Chinese or Indian. When I mentioned Pizza, my wife made a face as it's not her go to dish. I had a quick search on Google as I didn't want Domino's and the local takeaways can be a hit or miss. Pizza Vara came up on my search with a maximum 5 star review. No one "ever" gets top ratings in my book but I read through them and looked at the menu. Eventually we thought, let's give it a go. I drove down and it was quite busy but immediately I could see and hear the friendly atmosphere. The pizzas are all made fresh to order in the biggest pizza oven I've ever seen. I ordered a Parma Ham and also a Spicy Chicken with peppers and caramelised onions. They were ready in about 10mins and piping hot. It took me 10mins to get home and boy was the wait worth it. From the first mouthful, I could tell that this was no ordinary pizza. This was definitely something special. My wife was taken aback too as she is very picky about pizza. Now they are not the cheapest, probably similar price to Domino's but they are far superior and worth every penny. We both agree with every other review we read, "best pizzas ever"! We will never go anywhere else locally now.

Brilliant pizzas baked in a large stone oven. Got the usual flavours if you want but try their specials, you'll love them. Sometimes a bit of a wait at peak times weekend but always worth the wait. No way I'd go anywhere else in the area for pizza.

Freshly made, excellent quality, authentic pizza. Loved that you saw it being rolled out and topped in front of you. We'll definitely be back.

Popped in after seeing the reviews. We’re fans of real Neapolitan pizza and this is it. It’s not easy to come by and we’ve previously had to travel to Stirling or Edinburgh for it. Good service, great pizza and we can’t wait to return. My wife had the Pear, Gordonzola, Walnut and Honey and I had the Vara.

I got the Parma sandwich, I was quite underwhelmed. The prosciutto was quite pooey. Not worth the money.

My husband and I are staying at a caravan park close by, it wasn't clear this restaurant is within a holiday home resort and signage is very confusing. There is no mention of this restaurant on any signs around or in the park either. However, once we finally went into the main reception area there was a small sign stating Luna Rossa room. We had a lovely Chateaubriand and the staff were lovely. Please update your sign posts! I am sure this will bring in more customers.

What a great place for food and family. The 4 adults and 13 month old grandson enjoyed all the food and checked on regularly I’ve booked my husband 70th as there’s something on the menu for everyone and the prices are really reasonable. We will back before that though!

In the middle of the charming little streets of St Andrews, I found a hidden gem that made me feel like I was dining in a tucked-away trattoria in Rome: Little Italy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that cozy vibe that makes you slow down and enjoy without rushing —and that unmistakable smell of real Italian cooking that grabs you the moment you walk in. I started with the garlic bread, and it was spot on. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right touch of garlic and olive oil —nothing else needed. For the main course, I went straight for the chicken pesto spaghetti: a simple combo, maybe, but here they absolutely nail it. The pesto was fresh and creamy, with that real basil and pine nut flavor that changes everything. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, adding just the right amount of protein without taking over the dish. I left happy, with that feeling of having eaten something made with real care. If you're ever in St Andrews, don't miss it —Little Italy is a true gem.
