My wife and I popped in this afternoon for a bite to eat and we were impressed. Being a Tuesday afternoon it wasn't busy but it had a nice feel to it. The set lunchtime menu is fantastic value and the quality for what you pay is impressive. We'll definitely go back and would recommend it to others.

Highly recommend. I came here for a meal with a small group. I had the arancini as a starter which was unbelievable. For my main my friend and I shared the chateaubriand which was one of the best steaks I have had in a long tine. Service was great and so was the overall vibe of the restaurant. Couldn't recommend more!!!

We ate at The Godfather for lunch using an Itison Promotion. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and the decor is modern and stylish with comfortable seating. On arrival the welcome was warm and friendly. The food was tasty and well presented. I opted for the Spaghetti Carbonara but when it was served it was tepid and when I brought this to the attention of the waiter it was replaced quickly and without any fuss. You can always judge the quality of a restaurant by how it handles any problems. My partner opted for the ice-cream for desert and normally when you are served ice-cream in a restaurant the presentation is unimaginative with 2 scoops served in a bowl. It was pleasing to see that some thought had gone into the presentation with the ice cream served in a sundae dish with a dash of chocolate sauce accompanied by chocolate wafer rolls. Despite the problem with the Carbonara it was a very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience and one we will certainly repeat. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Godfather to potential diners and wish Ari and his team all the best.

This is my second visit to this establishment, and I can only say there has been no improvement from the first time. It took 2 .5 hours to be served with 2 courses. When the Sunday roast arrived everything on the plate (other than 2 very small roast potatoes) was cold with congealed gravy. We complained at the time and the waiter told us if we came back that he was a chef and he would personally cook our food!!!!!! We did email to make a complaint, but as yet, not even an acknowledgment. Will not return.

A shambles today. The only positive was the exceptionally pleasant waiter ( who is usually the chef!) who cannot be blamed. The service was SO slow with all 5/6 tables waiting a very long time for food which then arrived cold. Many tables complained or left early. We wish we had done so to. Some of those had booked for Sunday lunch were given afternoon tea! Hardly any staff about and clearly very few in the kitchen. We will not return here again.

Had a great dinner here with friends, when visiting the area. It's a little bit off the beaten track, but very nice location. We opted for the Chateau Briand (well priced for a portion for 2 AND table service) as we all love a good piece of steak. Some of us had the lobster ravioli and the lamb shank, which were excellent. We were recommended good wine to go with and couldn't be better. Had a fantastic night!

Recommended by a friend of my partner as newly opened. Located within the caravan park and not visible from the road. It's out of town on a country road. It was a cold blustery night and we had to walk on icy paving from the car. It was 9:30pm when we arrived Dean Martin and people of that era were playing on the sound system. However the chef had his radio on in the kitchen which we could hear. He did turn it off tho. We were the only customers in the place. It's pretty featureless. It's large and there are 2 paintings of highland cattle on the wall. There was only 1 guy there who served us and cooked the food. We were seated next to a gas fire at a table for 8 My partner sat next to me in order to get a bit of heat from the fire. The wind was tossing the outside lights about and it was pitch black outside. I ordered chicken breast with veg and my date ordered salmon. My chicken breast was flat like a schnitzel pale in colour and dry My carrots and parsnips were crunchy and there was mash potatoes as well. The food took 35 minutes to arrive and was cold My main was £18 and I had 3 scoops of ice-cream after which was £9. We were told at 11pm that it was closing time. All together including 3 non alcoholic drinks the bill was £66. Way too much for the setting and the food although st Andrews is famous for rip off Resteraunt prices. There was nothing that I could not have cooked better myself and I have a sour taste in my mouth from the experience It is dog friendly and probably better in the summer for burgers and sandwiches but not Italian cuisine.Very very misleading Avoid

Located off the road within the caravan park. It's basically the resort resteraunt. We got lost and rang the resteraunt but they couldn't help.We arrived at 9:30pm on a wet and windy and freezing cold night. The resteraunt was not lit well and there ice on the doorstep. We parked a few yards away. We were the only people in the resteraunt and sat at a long table by the fire. There was only one guy there who was barman chef and waiter. Oldies 60s ballads were playing on the music system but the chef had his radio on in the kitchen which he turned off There is a decent selection of drinks I had chicken breast with mash potatoes carrots and parsnips and my partner had salmon It took 40 mins for the food to arrive and mine was cold and the veggies were crunchy. Nothing Italian about the food or the decor. My main was £18 and ice-cream was £8 All in it cost me £66 for the both of us. We had only just finished our desert and we were asked to leave as it was 11pm. The guy said he'd been on duty since 10am. The decor was very sparse and there are a couple of paintings of highland cows on the wall. I was expecting chequered table cloths and calzone and pasta's but there's nothing Sicilian about the place. The name is misleading. I feel very let down and ripped off. The location is on a country road so it's dark and unlit. I could have cooked exactly the same meal so it was very bland and undercooked and there was no colour on the breast. Perhaps it will be better in the summer but it's more British than Italian It's dog friendly and there are outside areas and a bar off the side. Sorry for the poor rating perhaps they will improve. Beware of prices in st Andrews

Lovely ambiance and service was great but the food was the worst I have ever had. It was a Two for One offer and we chose the fish & chips, We didn't wait long so was impressed but once the plate was put onto the table we could see straight off the fish was over cooked as the batter was the colour of dark caramel we decided to at least try it and it didn't get better, fish was not fresh it seemed more like frozen from a multi pack, had the texture of compacted fish with no depth & flavour. I understand this was an offer but these are not supposed to lack in quality from original menu and instead of promoting for more business it has had the opposite effect and I will never return.

Fabulous Sunday lunch 5 minutes from St Andrews. Excellent choice - we had delicious winter pumpkin soup to start then I enjoyed the Roast Beef & my hubby had the Pork Belly. Both plates were served with roasted carrots & parsnips & included with mains were side orders of cauliflower cheese, broccoli in blue cheese sauce & roast potatoes. Dessert was cheesecake for me & sticky toffee pud for other half. Friendly service & great value. 3 courses plus sides for 2 for less than £50. We will return 😋
