Tasty sandwiches, pizzas and calzones - the ingredients taste fresh and the basil pesto is lovely. Cannoli are also good and worth a try here. Only downside is that they are takeaway only since the shop is small.

Fantastic hidden gem, great coffee, and the food......mwah. Mini Canolli are £1.25 so if you've never tried one before, you can get a taster size at a reasonable price. The Ciabattas are made to order and very tasty, with a wide choice of fillings. The staff too are very welcoming and a joy to interact with.

Great little deli/eatery— I only have experience with their pizza and cannoli, which are excellent.

Rocca deli now becomes my most favourite food shop in St. Andrews. The desserts taste so good. I really love crème brûlée! And I’m always here for the hot dog bun as well. Long live rocca deli 🤘

Lovely spicy sausage & cheesy flatbread and the most divine New York cheesecake wow amazing flavours. It was a lovely treat 😀 yummy 🤤 could of easily went for second helping £8 a pop I had to stop myself 😂

Great pizza, and super friendly people.

The deli offers a great selection of Gluten Free sweet pastry (cannoli), and cakes! Having bought one of each the cannoli were eaten first. The deliciously crispy shells provided a crunchy burst, followed by the taste of , chocolate praline, and subtle nuts

Walking past the cakes looked lovely so popped in to take home. Service was really friendly and the prices reasonable. We didn't have pizza but they looked good I will try them another time. Had Nutella tiffin which was amazing, will definitely be back

Definitely the best panini in town.

Although we were only in for a short amount of time, our experience was very enjoyable. We were approached by the lovely employee, destiny. Destiny was extremely patient with us while still serving other customers and was very attentive, destiny was also very helpful and we enjoyed her presence. The choice of foods and sweet treats authentic to the real Italian cuisine. Overall we were extremely pleased with EVERTHING in this establishment

Visited today for two takeaway coffees and two very small pastries. Massively overpriced (£15). The lobster tail pastry for rock hard with dry pistachio cream, as though it had been sitting out for days. Wish we’d just gone to Fisher & Donaldson. At least the staff member was friendly.

One of the best takeaway sandwich places I've been to, authentic Italian food with quality products. Delicious toasted ciabattas with a range of fillings. Amazing little pastries and the coffee was the best I have had in years. If you are in St andrews you cannot miss this place!

I had the vegan very chocolatty brownie and it was the most delicious brownie I’ve ever had. Too marks 10/10

Excellent from start to finish. The food and service was very very good, and the Italian produce they have in on their shelves is so hard to get anywhere else. Was served by a young blonde girl on Saturday who was pleasant and very helpful.

I enjoyed a lovely 'Bologna' sandwich from Rocca Italian Deli - the bread was lovely, and fillings were generous. It was quite expensive, and you had to queue outside whilst you waited on your order to be prepared. Not so bad in summer but chilly in winter!

I occasionally pop in here for a sandwich during my study breaks and I must say no matter which sandwich I try they are always absolutely lovely! A little bit pricey if I must say but the quality is fantastic so I shouldn't complain too much!

Hands down the most affordable and delicious sandwich shop in town. The sandwiches are amazing and the iced coffee is undoubtedly better than any other coffee shop in St. Andrews.

Good spot for lunch and sweet treats. The cannoli were massive, the cream tasted very fresh, and the flavour was perfect. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, and while reasonably tasty and filling, there was far too much bread compared to filling. It also took a very long time for it to be served to us.

Great food - I tend to order delivery. Always prompt and delicious!

Love this place and the people who work there! During a recent visit, we fell in love with their cannelloni! The shortbread crusted lemon ricotta were fabulous. And the classic ricotta with candied orange peel was authentic Italian. The Torte de la Nona was better than I remember eating in Italy. And their ciabatta bread sandwiches…memorable. The staff are wonderful. We stayed in a flat across the street and I watched the young women who worked there behind the counter meticulously scrub down the counters and displays cases every night after 9pm. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a taste of Italy in Scotland.

We were excited to find this deli and sample some cannoli and pastries. Home made cakes, sandwiches, coffees and all sorts of Italian treats to delight the senses! Looks like a great spot for foodie gifts as well as a quality deli menu. Great service, easy to find, we'll be back 5*

They really do make the MOST delicious pizzas. I am very grateful to whoever made my pizza on Weds night this week when I was up to collect my daughter from Uni.

Found this place while randomly walking past bought some cannolis and brownies they were delicious the lunch items also looked amazing and fresh if i hadn't just eaten I would definitely have tried more.

The most amazing toasted ciabatta! My partner, young son and myself had some difficulty getting a table somewhere for some lunch when we came across Rocca and decided to just get a take-away lunch instead and I am glad we did l. The nduja, pesto and cheese toasted ciabatta was the best sandwich I have ever had. I will 100% be Back when we bevy visit St Andrews.

We were on our annual pilgrimage to The Dunhill Cup & came across this amazing Deli after our day at the Golf . Ordered 2 pizzas from the lovely , helpful female member of staff - These Pizzas were the Best we have ever had - Amazing !! Thoroughly recommended - would consider a 2 & a half hour rail journey just for another Pizza .

Ordered the Trento pizza (sun blushed tomatoes, goat cheese, and red onion) and it was fantastic, from the crust to the toppings. I will be ordering again and look forward to trying others menu items.

Called in for a proper takeaway coffee and ended up buying lots of Italian cakes ! This is a little gem of a shop and it’s worth the queue as the cakes are divine . Actually went back to take some home before we left for our families .

I absolutely love this place! I only get takeaway pizzas and desserts when I visit but they are the freshest tasting pizzas I have ever tasted. I am never disappointed, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The pistachio cake is a personal favourite!

Just had my first pizza from Rocca, only one word for it “exceptional” you could taste the passion and enthusiasm. Beautifully presented, fresh and rustic, loved it!

Now, with the pizza added on menu, definitely my favourite place!!!

Poor service, with more recent and larger customer orders being provided before ours (earlier and smaller). 1 black coffee and 3 cannoli should take 5 mins max, but took about 20 and only after chasing the order. Poor and won't be back anytime soon

I had the Alexandria baguette sandwich. The bread was the perfect chewy/crispy/pillowy mix. All my expectations were exceeded. I hope I’m back when I’m next in St. Andrews.

Visited here a few weeks before lockdown and will definitely return! Usually hear negative opinions on younger staff in establishments however this was proved wrong! Very happy staff who were aware of the menu and helped with any questions or requirements we had! Always making sure we were happy with what we received. Best coffee to be had around St Andrews and overall a very happy welcoming place. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Everything seems fresh and produce from the counter fills the rolls and provides the snacks. Ciabatta bread was crisp and delicious with a good filling of bresaola and artichokes (it's that kind of place!) and the soups were really good. Table space is limited and service faltered sllghtly, but I would happily go back.

It was absolutely freezing in St Andrews when we happened upon the tiny but perfectly formed Rocca Deli and chose a couple of cannoli - the pistachio one was excellent and took one straight back to Agrigento, (dontcha know!) Thoroughly recommend the coffee and cannoli as a brief sojourn in Sicily for the uninitiated!!

We stopped in here for an excellent coffee and pistachio cannoli - yum! Wish we had found it earlier as we would have had lunch here too. The food looks amazing. Very pleasant staff and lovely atmosphere. Get here quick as there are only a few tables and they fill up quick.

Stopped here for a lunch of soup and sandwich as the deli had seating available. The service and quality of the ingredients was excellent. The food is reasonably priced.

Really good panini. Roughly 15~ min wait time for it. You can order and take away very easily, they just issue you a ticket. If memory serves the panini was about £5~.

This is a small deli with few seats but the service, food and coffee were great. We shared a very tasty ciabatta.

We were strolling the town and stumbled upon this place. We ordered a sandwich and some cannolis and enjoyed a table in here. The sandwich was a real nice touch, well done on platter with chips...

Stopped in at 5:25pm on a Saturday only to find they closed at 5:30 this day for some reason. So, if you go...check the time. Trip Advisor said it stays open until 8:00pm...well not the Saturday we went. However, they were nice enough to take our sandwich order, but we had to take it away as they were closing...so no eating in at this small deli for us. Our sandwiches came out nice and toasty warm and prepared exactly as we asked, so they did not “short” us on preparation even though they were actually closing as we stepped into the shop. Grabbed some olives and cannolis to go with the sandwiches (actually mini-cannolis but oh so good).

We stumbled across Rocca Deli as we were exploring St Andrews! We were immediately drawn in my the amazing treats including filled cannoli! Would recommend these and the macaroons - great value for money and they taste incredible😊

I popped in for a coffee when we were in St Andrews this week on holiday and then went back every day we were there. Great coffee and had a lovely lunch one day too. Super friendly staff and lovely Italian food.

Do you love the inside of your own mouth? If you're like any other rational human who undoubtedly does, then you will love this place. Imagine the most crispy yet tender of bread, gently encompassing the most succulent of ingredients, be it tomato, salami, arugula, peppered ham and/or delectably potent pesto. I cannot speak highly enough of this sandwich shop, which has transformed the most simple and mundane of foods into a true testament to man's capacity to mimic the divine. If I were to die right now, I would want it to be whilst eating one of these sandwiches, because then maybe--just maybe--my experience of heaven would consist of the perpetual consumption of one of these devastatingly delicious bread hugs, as I affectionately like to call a Rocca sandwich. Should you choose not to ever eat one (bread hug), you are wrong and I hope you meet your demise in the most unsavory of ways. Conversely, should you choose to repeatedly ingest the majestic entity that is a Rocca sandwich, I wish upon you only the absolute supreme that life has to offer. Take heed, my friends, and flock to this small seaside town sandwich shop to enjoy the good lord's greatest gift to man, second only to the forgiveness of sin.

Good pasta and espresso at fair prices with a nice ambiance and pleasant staff throughout the meal. Deliveroo options have been great too.

I visited Rocca last Sunday afternoon and as usual the service was wonderful. The gent behind the counter swapped stories of his trips to Italy and made a lovely coffee. Friendly atmosphere and the new layout looks great. Nice suggestion on the espresso truffles!

The toasted rolls are to die for, great service & lovely inside. I got some herbs & spices whilst I was there all great aswell.

Stopped by with a bunch of friends last week, place was spot on! Clean as and very helpful, attentive staff. Food is excellent! Will be returning for sure next time I'm through in St. Andrews.

Went here today and experienced horrible service. The man working at the front and the waitress were extremely rude. Been several times and they like changing the prices each time although the same thing is ordered. There is no consistent prices on their items and they like to overcharge you when they can. Do yourself the favor and not waste your time or money here.

My family walked into Rocca on Bell Street last week on a whim. We had three small children with us and were concerned that the cozy restaurant wouldn't be able to accomodate us. Though obviously not set up to cater to large parties with toddlers, the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. The manager (possibly the owner) helped us find extra chairs and even helped watch over one of the children while his mother was eating.

On a cold, miserable day with an hour to wait for a bus, we happened upon this place where we enjoyed a delicious Tomato and Italian sausage soup. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful and price was very fair. Happy to recommend this place based on our visit

I popped in for pasta the other and was delighted to find that the refurbishment completed during the January closure included tables and chairs for coffee lovers. My friends and I much enjoyed our first experience of morning coffee in the Rocca Deli and we will be back. The atmosphere of being in a working Deli is just right. We had total tranquility until the rush at lunch time to sample the sit in and take away menu. Recommended especially if you want a break from wifi.

Rocca has an amazing deli with good vegetarian options. Perhaps not the place for vegans, but once again, this is italian. The store also has an amazing selection of pastas to buy, and cannolis that get me every time. I love it!

This is a fantastic, authentic itlaian deli, run by honestly one of the nicest and passionate people I’ve met. A lovely guy who wants to help you get the best product for you whether cheaper or more expensive. It stocks a great selection of deli items and popped in after visiting the Vic for a pint and got a good panini late at night! Would highly recommend!

Went in, ordered two Parma paninis toasted should have had Parma Ham on.Two Rumbabas Took them away to eat later . When we opened them they werent toasted and there was no Parma on them at all and at £4.95 per sandwich I found that to be a disgrace it even says Parma in writing on the little checked paper that they come in.ther was just lumps of cheese lettace and tomato nothing else . It may be authentic for the guy behind the counter to say to you gratsia when you leave but i'd rather have a decent sandwich thanks !!!! No chance i will be back, theives and robbers IMO I was robbed it was £20 for 2 rumbabas and two substandard sandwiches Dick Turpin rings a bell, but at least he had the decency to wear a mask. Deluso !!

Popped in for an espresso and proceeded to buy Italian sausages (tonight's dinner), sfogliatelle and cannoli. They serve Kimbo coffee which is my favourite. They gave my Son a free cannoli to taste too, nice touch.
