It really isn’t very good. I appreciate times are tough, but the staff could at least pretend to be interested and the food really is quite poor. There are several far better choices nearby. On the upside it is cheap if that is a criteria. For me it wasn’t.

The food was cold. There were no peppers in the Shahi Murgh Tandoori and it was much hotter than usual.

True value for money 3 course lunch -> under a tenner. Veg pakora -> delicious. Lamb saag with basmati rice -> even more delicious. Ice cream -> pretty damn good. Service -> friendly and efficient. BYOB.

Chicken fried rice had spoilt chicken and tandoori mushroom had old mushrooms and not fresh ones…disappointed

Excellent service and food in a traditional old style Indian restaurant. Beats all the trendy modern ones hands down. The wine list was also very good, including surprisingly Chablis at moderate prices

We have eaten in and had takeaways a number of times. Food is always amazing. Butter chicken is the best I have ever had! The staff are always friendly!!

Delicious lamb Tikka balti, washed down with a few beers.

Gone down hill Check out Raipur in Pevensey. Great tasting, hot delivered food.....will definitely be going in for a sit down munch
